"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~
On Monday that next week, you were all put into partners for battle training. You guys would be assigned a role as either heroes or villains, and you were to fight the opposing team.
You were put with Todoroki (the teachers wanted to see how you two would do in battle together) and were set as the heroes, fighting against Hagakure and Asui. You had defeated them when Todoroki froze the area. He froze the 'bomb' to its freezing point (considering that it wasn't a real bomb and just steel), and you were able to create a a sledgehammer, knocking the bomb and shattering it to pieces while Todoroki deflected Asui away from you.
Midoriya and Bakugou's match was what made not just you, but everyone worry. It was the most aggressive thing you had ever seen.
You tried to go out and stop them, not wanting to see either of your best friends die (Midoriya's chances of survival were not in his favour), but Recovery Girl had gotten you to stay with everyone else. She assured you that neither she or the other teachers would ever allow for something that horrible to happen. You felt a little bit better.
Right up until the biggest explosion went off, eating a whole chunk out of the building. That's when you took off. No one tried to stop you this time, some even following you. Recovery Girl was being carried by All Might in order to get there quicker.
You quickly ran past a freaked-out Uraraka and Iida, entering the space without a second thought. You pulled your shirt over your mouth as you waited for the rest of the smoke to clear, waving some of it away. Once most of it did, you saw Midoriya on the ground, just barely conscious, and Bakugou clutching his arm as he leaned against the wall, breathing heavily and almost ready to pass out as well.

You felt tension build up in your shoulders and a headache form above your eye. You squeezed the bridge of your nose, trying to get rid of it and also trying to calm yourself down.
Sure, they would fight a lot, but this was getting out of hand. And you weren't even able to try and stop it this time.
Sighing, you shook your head, watching as All Might picked Bakugou up, and Recovery Girl heal Midoriya a little bit before she took him to the infirmary.
Uraraka came in with Iida, and she saw the state of the room and gasped. Seeing her soulmate on the ground in his state, you saw the worried tears form in her eyes. You quickly brought her in for a hug, and tried to calm down her shaking.
"It's okay. He'll be better in no time." You reassured her.
"Are they always like this? Will he always end up getting hurt like this?" She whimpered, and you sighed.
"They are always like this. And I'm getting a feeling it won't end here. In terms of getting hurt, well. . . I guess that's the hard part about becoming a hero, Ochaco. He's going to get hurt, and so will you, and you both will be a mess over it, but you will both get through it together. You're soulmates for a reason, and I find it hard that he'll be leaving you anytime soon."
You felt her calm down in your arms, and she nodded her head, sniffling. She pulled away and smiled at you, wiping away her tears. "Thank you, (Y/N)-chan."
You smiled gently down at her, patting her head. "Don't worry about it."

You waited in the infirmary, sitting on the couch. You were waiting for both of the boys to wake up, however they were still pretty much in a coma.
You felt the couch dip next to you, and you flinched in surprise. Looking over at the person, you recognised the candy cane hair almost immediately. "Todoroki. . ."
"I couldn't find you during lunch, so I assumed you were still in here," he said, turning his body to face you slightly. "How are you?"

You shrugged your shoulders, shaking your head as you looked back at the two boys laying on their beds. "I don't know. It seems to just be one thing after another. Next we'll be dealing with villains trying to kidnap us, I bet you."
Todoroki gazed at your frowning face. "Is that all?"
You looked at him, being ready to lie to him again. But you remembered what he told you the day you both made up, and you sighed before leaning back on the couch. "Yeah. My quirk."
He frowned, "What about it?"
You hesitated for a second, trying to find the right words, "I, uh. . . I feel really bad about my quirk compared to yours. If we're so legendary, then why do only one of us have such a powerful quirk? Todoroki, you're so powerful and strong. You deserve to claim this 'legendary' title. I don't. I have such a weak quirk, I let my emotions get the best of me and my relationships, and I assume so many things."
You breathed in deeply, feeling a lump in your throat. Todoroki spoke up, "You know, I wouldn't be this strong if it weren't for the things I had to endure all these years."
You looked at him softly, almost whispering, "What do you mean?"
He leaned back on the couch with you, however he stared at the ground. "My father didn't want me as just a child. I mean, he didn't want to have me because he wanted another kid. He wanted to create the perfect child. One that inherited both his and my mother's quirk, both equally as strong as the other's. After a couple of tries, it never worked. So when I came along, you can only guess how he reacted.
"He trained me as hard as he could ever since I was little. He would be unrelenting, not caring about how unfit his training procedures were to a kid my age. I hate him."
You frowned in sympathy, saying softly, "Is that where you got your scar? From him?"
You were really worried that you crossed over a line, but you were surprised when he opened up even further, "No, I got that from my mother. My father only married my mother for her quirk; so he could have a kid like me. He abused her physically and mentally. It eventually drove her to the point where she looked at me one day and went crazy. She poured boiling water over my left side—where my father's power resided. She's been in the hospital ever since."
Your heart faltered after hearing his story, and the lump in your throat grew. "I'm so sorry. Is your mother okay?"
You saw his eyes light up a little bit at the mention of her, and you almost sighed in relief, glad he wasn't thinking about his past anymore. "Yeah, she's great. I visit her quite often. I should take you to see her sometime."
You smiled at him, nodding your head, "Yeah, that would be fun."
Seeing your smile only gave him one, and his eyes crinkled softly. He turned to his side and he stared at you, saying, "I'm glad."
"About what?"
"This."
You felt your face heat up at his straightforwardness, and you looked down at your hands, "Ye-Yeah, me too."
You heard the bell ring, and Todoroki stood up. "Are you coming to class, or are you going to wait?"
"I'll wait until they get up. I need to have. . . Somewhat of a chat with them." You glared over at them sharply, and you swear you saw them both stir in their sleep uncomfortably. You looked back up at Todoroki, "It's okay, don't wait up for me. I'd rather you go to class. Promise to take some notes for me."
He smiled down at you softly, nodding his head. "I will."
He then leaned down and pulled your head closer to him. He kissed your forehead softly, pulling away after a second and turning around, leaving the room altogether without another word.
Leaving you in a blushing mess this time.
However, that was cut off when you saw both Bakugou and Midoriya stir awake. You stomped on the ground as you stood up, alerting them both.
Once they saw your face, they knew they were in for it.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.

Bint of Gilgit ~ Pakistani Love Story ~ ONGOING ~
For Nazli, the world is limited from her tribe to the Forbidden Valley. For Asadullah, the world is limitless and his for taking. ***"You should be honored that a man like I have taken such an interest in you!" Asadullah smirked, swirling his small handgun on his index finger. The green-eyed girl paled - her skin already porcelain white and quite different from any other he had seen in the country before. She was definitely beautiful even in her less than impressive rags. "Asadullah hardly makes such a generous offer." He said, liking the self-praise more than he wanted to admit. She shook her head - her dainty fingers wringing in her golden braid. Little Goldilocks. "Think again, little girl. The blood of your people will be on your hands." ***The setting is in Gilgit in a fictional valley called the Forbidden Valley. The image is not mine. The story and characters are.
