"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

You were pissed off when you discovered the next morning that the school had in fact contacted your aunt, telling her that unless you were deadly sick, you were not permitted to stay home.
Meaning all your efforts to persuade her went straight out the window, ending with you trudging to school in misery.
When you had arrived to Midoriya's home, he was already leaving. He caught up to you, looking a little bit concerned. "You're looking a little bit upset, (Y/N)-chan. Are you alright?"
You hadn't at all explained to him what happened the day before, and so you did as you both walked to school together. He remained silent and nodded along as you ranted aggressively, staying a good few feet away as you kept flailing your hands around.
Once you had finished talking, you turned to him and said, "What do you think?"
He smiled nervously, scratching the back of his neck before saying, "I-I think Aizawa-sensei has a really good point."
"God fucking dammit, Izuku, you weren't supposed to take his side." You mumbled out, sighing as you ran a hand over your face.
"I-I'm not taking sides! I just agree with a lot of his statements. But I'm also thinking about how you felt all your life about your soulmate. It isn't your fault that you've been so insecure with Todoroki, but Aizawa-sensei has some really good points. You don't make any attempts to meet with him.

"The only time I remember you mentioning that you were hanging out was when he had the idea to get to know you at his house. And the other time you hung out, it was when I had to secretly invite him because I knew you weren't going to go with us otherwise. I'm sorry, (Y/N)-chan, but despite how harsh Aizawa-sensei said it, he's right."
You nodded your head, looking straight ahead as you noticed that you both were approaching the school. "Yeah. It's kind of hard to focus on his opinion, though."
Midoriya stopped you just before you both entered the gates, gripping onto your shoulders as he stared into your eyes gently. "That's because you're very stubborn, (Y/N)-chan. If you believe in an opinion strong enough, your brain fails to consider any other option. This would make sense based on your insecurities with your mark. Sometimes this stubbornness can be a good thing, but right now, it just isn't."
It's like Midoriya knew you would listen to him. And you did. It was like his words had some sort of magic to it, because if anyone else had said that, whether it be Bakugou or Kaminari or Aizawa (as you had learnt in the past), you would have just opposed right away and ignored them.
"Maybe today, during your time with Todoroki, you could consider Aizawa's advice. Which I guess is the reason why he's sticking you both together anyway. What was his plan on that, by the way?"
You frowned, tilting your head, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, is he planning on keeping you both in a room together all day, or is he going to make sure that every teacher you have a class with makes sure you two aren't separated, or. . . What?"

You shrugged your shoulders, turning to walk to the school building. "I have no idea. Who knows? Maybe he'll handcuff us together."
"That sounds a bit. . . You know." Midoriya said, scrunching his nose up at the idea.
"I think the word you're looking for is 'kinky', Izuku."
"I'm not going to say that word, (Y/N)-chan," he stared at you blankly, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead. Probably because he was exhausted from dealing with your bullshit.
You laughed, nudging him before he laughed as well, shaking his head as you both entered the school.

"You've got to be kidding me." You said as you stared at your homeroom teacher.
He just stared down at you and said, "I can't trust you both to willingly stay by each other's side all day, and I can't leave you in a classroom. So this is the next best thing. It will ensure you both will remain together, however it's long enough that you two will be able to continue doing your usual tasks."
You stood next to Todoroki, giving your teacher a 'tell-me-this-is-a-prank' look, while Todoroki just stared at the long-chained handcuffs with wide, curious and slightly weirded out eyes.
"Uhm. . . Sir?" He asked. "Is this really necessary?"
"Yes." Aizawa stated bluntly.
"Do we have to enter the classroom like this?" He asked again, and you stared the teacher down, awaiting your answer.
Aizawa stared at you both blankly before saying, "Yes."
Kaminari and Mina were never going to let you live this down.
You sighed before entering the classroom, accidentally yanking Todoroki along with you, causing him to stumble forward. You noticed this, turning around to make sure he was alright, completely forgetting for a moment that you wanted to avoid him.
Once realising what you had done, you got rid of your worried expression and mumbled an apology before moving to sit down at your desk, the boy willingly following you this time.
You heard snickers ahead of you, and you glared up at the person responsible, already knowing it was the little Pikachu shit. He was trying his hardest to contain his laughter, and seeing you look at him with a blushing face only made it harder.
"Kaminari, I will beat your ass if you don't shut the hell up right now, you Pikachu motherfucker." This only made it worse, as he finally burst out laughing.
However, he stopped immediately once noticing that all of his classmates were shrinking in their seats. He looked back up at the teacher and noticed his terrifying look as he stared him down. He gulped nervously before apologising and bowing his head for the rest of the class.
You sighed as you let your arm hang to the side, making it less painful on both you and Todoroki's wrists as it wasn't been strained from the pull.
This day was going to be hell.
