6 Years Ago...

Today is my 7th birthday and dad said we're going to a beach, so now I'm happily packingmy stuff in my princess bag.

I saw the door open, and my little brother came inside, his hands were placed behind him.

"Elli, elli, I got something for you." he said as he gave a flower to me.

'A sunflower. My favorite!'

I hugged him and saw a light flash.

"My children" Mom said as she hugged us

Kai and I giggled when mom hugged us

She let go of us and asked if I finished packing my clothes, I said yes and put the bag behind me.

I walked out the door, still holding the flower Kai gave to me.

Time Skip~

We're now on our way to the beach and I sat on the right side of the car while Kai sat on the left holding his dinosaur.

I held my plushie and started singing to the song that was playing on the radio

So one last time

I need to be the one who takes you home

One more time

I promise after that, I'll let you go~

"Elli, you know this song?" Mom asked

"Hmm, dad sings it in the car all the time before he sends me to school" I said

Mom gave Dad a look, but I ignored it and looked at the scenery outside.

):)

We arrived at the beach and the sea is soooo pretty!

I almost ran to play in the water, but Dad called me, saying we had to "check-in" first.

I frowned but followed anyway

Soon they came out of the hotel and went to the beach.

The kids were so excited they forgot to bring their hats with them

"Kids! You forgot your hats!" Their mom called out

They came back and put their sun protectors on.

"Now, be careful and don't go too deep in the water okay?" She said as she finished putting on the hats and caressed their cheeks

"Okay mom!" They said and ran off

We played in the water for 10 minutes and now we're making sandcastles.

Kai and I made our own sandcastles, but we also decided to make a big one.

We happily went to our parents, telling them about the sandcastles we made, but when we looked back, there was these big kids who looked older than us that started destroying our masterpieces.

Kai cried once he saw the sight and I comforted him, our parents told us that we can just make a new one, but seeing this happen to the sandcastles, I can't let this go, I wasn't known for being the nice kid anyways.

I told Kai to go back to our sandcastles and guard it, while I grab the big rock I saw at about 5 feet away from us.

I went back to our place and started putting sand around the rock.

My brother saw me, but I didn't care, these kids destroyed our castles and made my brother cry, so I will do the same to them, but it just hurts more this time.

The Johnson siblings finished re-making their sandcastles and as expected the big kids came again, laughing to themselves as they destroyed more sandcastles that were sitting in the sand with no supervision.

They came across the two siblings and started mocking their work.

"Ew! who makes ugly sandcastles like these?"

"Can you guys make this castle worse? I don't think so, these are the worst ones I've seen HAHAHA!"

Kai was about to start crying again as he heard the insults.

"LET'S DESTROY IT!"

"I'll go first, these kids need to know that their sandcastles are the ugliest ones!" a boy said as he raised his leg up in the air and stomped on the sandcastle

The grins on the kids' faces were replaced with shock, the boy screamed in pain as he stumbled back, holding his foot.

His friends pulled him up and guided him to his mother.

"We aren't done with you-" a kid threatened but he was called by his friends to help the other boy

He did an eye-to-eye motion while looking at Lavender, who was smirking as she raised her hands up and shrugged.

End of Flashback~

"Yeah, and the last thing I remembered from that trip was the boy's mom talking to our mom, but I kinda didn't get punished.." Lavender said as she set down her mug and snuggled onto her blanket

"You got your sketchbook taken away from you for 1 week remember?" Kai stated

Lavender made an 'O' face as she remembered her punishment

"I remember being so bored at school at that time." She said as Colt looked at her in disbelief

"So you're saying, talking with us is boring?" He said to her

"The whole time you were talking with us cuz you didn't have anything to do and now we're boring?" he added

She didn't say anything and fled from there, her blanket still wrapped around her body.

"I'll go check on her." Lily said after chuckling

The boys laughed and continued their chat until it was time to go home.
