《Cursed eyes (Jujutsu Kaisen x Male reader)》20. The Shibuya Incident pt.1

RECORD OF THE INCIDENT ON OCTOBER 31, 2018 AT 7:00 PM
A CURTAIN WITH A 400-METER RADIUS WAS CAST CENTERED AT THE TOKYU DEPARTMENT STORE TOYOKO BRANCH
Ijichi: "It's a curtain that only traps civilians. Civilians can only enter. As for windows, that depends on the person. Jujutsu sorcerers, as well as auxiliary managers, can come and go as they please."
Nanami: "Any reception?"
Ijichi: "Blocked. All communications will have to be done outside the curtain... or through us, the managers."
Nanami: "Sounds like quite the plan."
Ino: "Fushiguro! Fushiguro! Curtains... The conditions that can be used to increase or decrease the barrier's effectiveness... are usually only things related to cursed energy. So, basically, humans, cursed spirits, and cursed objects. Therefore, reception being blocked is a secondary effect of the curtain. But the curtain can't actually block or allow reception."
Megumi: "Uhm, yes, I know."
Nanami: "Ino, he's an excellent student, stop trying to show off just because you're older. And..."
Ino: "What do you mean by that, Nanami?!"
Nanami: "Where is Gojo?"
Nobara: "No one's here?! At a busy intersection in front of the station?! on Halloween?!"
Akari Nitta: "Looks like something bad went down. Everyone is spread out near the curtain's perimeter, and they're all begging for the same thing... Bring Satoru Gojo."
Naobito: "Hmph! There's no way a non-sorcerer would know him. They were told to say it. We can't break the curtain?"
Akari Nitta: "It's tough. After all, the curtain isn't restricting sorcerers from either side. It's not something we can destroy with brute force. It'll be quicker to locate and take out the curse user who summoned the curtain."
Maki: "So we're here to help with that?"
Akari Nitta: "Nope! You're all on stand-by here!"
Maki/Nobara: "Eh?!"
Kusakabe: "An advanced barrier technique... and asking for Satoru Gojo. They have to be the same culprits as the goodwill event incident. The authorities are instructing Satoru Gojo to work alone... In order to suppress the Shibuya incident and to minimize damages. Us, Nanami, the Zen'in geezer... and Mei Mei. We're all just supposed to hang around the perimeter of the curtain and take care of whatever gets past Gojo."
Panda: "Minimize damage. You mean sorcerers, right? What about civilians?"
Kusakabe: "Calm down. Unlike last year's Christmas event, we're already too late. To be honest, I think it's for the best. Also, I actually went and peeked inside the curtain earlier. It was kinda peaceful. Sure, people were in a panic, but I didn't see any curses or curse users running around killing people. Right now they're just trapped inside. That said... I'm definitely not going back in there."
Panda: "Why?"
Kusakabe: "I think it was the Shibuya Hikarie building. I'm pretty sure there were... a bunch of special-grade curses in the basement."
A large group of civilians were on the limit of the curtain, in an attempt to exit whilst asking for a certain sorcerer.

Civilian: "What's going on?!"
Civilian: "Why can't we get out?!"
Civilian: "Hurry up and bring Satoru Gojo here!"
Civilian: "Who the heck is Gojo?!"
Civilian: "Like I know! But they said if he... doesn't show up, we can't get out!"
Civilian: "Who said that?!"
Civilian: "I dunno! Everyone!"
Female civilian: "Omg! Guys who can't keep their cool are so not okay."
Female civilian: "Well, the fact that we can't get through is like something out of a horror movie. But it's not a big deal, right? Someone will come and rescue us soon."
Female civilian: "Oh, but there's no signal!"
Civilian: "You guys didn't see it?! They were sucked in... All those people in the intersection! Right into the station! like a bathtub draining water! Or else we woulda gone home by train too! Isn't that obvious you uneducated moron?!"
Female civilian: "What?! Then use your education to get through that thing!"
Civilian: "Ow!"
Satoru: "Sorry..."
He said as he entered the curtain and accidentally hit the guy on his head.

Meanwhile, in Kyoto. Hours before.
The Kyoto students along with Utahime had been tasked with a mission that same day, except for two of them, Todo and (y/n).
(y/n): "Mission? Today?"
Mai: "I guess, although you and Todo are free."
(y/n): "Hm. I suppose I'll just stay here until you come back..."
Mai: "Have fun with Todo."
(y/n): "Why don't I come with you?"
Mai: "Because you're not supposed to. Maybe you're staying for something you misbehaved or sum."
(y/n): "Hey! I behave pretty well If I say so myself."
Mai: "Are you sure about that?"
(y/n): "Very sure."
Mai: "Oh, yeah? Then how do you explain destroying school property with your little fight with Todo."
(y/n): "Hey! He started it! I didn't even know what he was talking about."
Mai: "Mhm. That still doesn't cover up for you destroying the whole school."
(y/n): "I said I was sorry! Plus it wasn't the whole school, it was one or two walls..."
Mai: "Last time I checked you almost collapsed one of the buildings."
(y/n): "I said that I said that I was sorry!"
Mai: "Whatever. Just make sure to not destroy the place... more."
(y/n): "I'll try."
Utahime: "Alright! Everyone, we're leaving."
And so, the majority of Kyoto students left the school. Unbeknownst to the events later that day. (y/n) walked back to the main building where Todo was waiting for him.
Todo: "So, did they leave?"
(y/n): "Yeah, they just did..."
Todo: "Good now we can continue our important business."
(y/n): "Yes... Nobuko Takada was it?"
Todo: "Yes, come. I'll show you everything I got."
(y/n): "All right." Why do I have a strange feeling...

Satoru was observing the large group of civilians, each of them was wearing a costume due to the date.

Satoru: "Geesh! What a mess." The curtain aboveground, that's trapping the non-sorcerers originates from somewhere down below, huh? "Sorry coming through."
He said as he began to walk over the people's heads.
Civilian: "What?!"
Satoru: "Hup! Hup!"
He kept using people's heads as stepping stones until he reached the mezzanine and began floating in the middle.
Satoru: "Hm. I think I get what they're after. Bring it on."
Itadori: "Gojo-sensei is going alone?! I understand why, but we gotta help somehow! We can go as backup!"
Mei Mei: "Yeah. That's why we're going to Shibuya."
Itadori: "Oh, we are?"
Ui Ui, Mei Mei's younger brother was also there, standing next to her... The relation between both is... Quite particular.
Ui Ui: "Sheesh... making you go as backup. Who does Gojo Satoru think he is."
Mei Mei: "You can't think of him as a normal guy."
Ui Ui: "You're not a normal lady either."
Mei Mei: "Oh, Ui Ui. You're so cute."
Itadori just stared at the rare situation.
Ui Ui: "You don't think that! What you love isn't family... You're more interested in work!"
Mei Mei: "Heh heh... You're quite the smart one. I love that about you."
Mei Mei received a call.
Mei Mei: "This is Mei Mei... Huh?"
Meanwhile Itadori.
Itadori: Let's go already...
Mei Mei ended the call and turned to Itadori.
Mei Mei: "Itadori. We're changing course. Another curtain like the one in Shibuya just appeared at Meiji-Jingu station. We're heading there. We're gonna run. So keep up, okay?"
Itadori: "Sure!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todo: "Hey, (y/n)-san. Utahime-sensei messaged me about a situation in Shibuya."
(y/n):" Hm? Shibuya? What happened?"
Todo: "Apparently a curtain appeared that's trapping the civilians inside, and another one by the Meiji-Jingu station."
(y/n): "And... do we have to go? It's so far away... can't we just let them handle it. We're Kyoto students for a reason. We guard Kyoto, not Tokyo..."
(y/n) was falling asleep as many hours had passed since Todo decided to show our blindfolded sorcerer some content on Nobuko Takada, Todo's favorite idol. Thanks to some 'events' that took place that same day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Satoru slowly descended onto the line platform, where multiple civilians were watching him from the passenger platform, also the cursed spirits Hanami, Jogo, and Choso.
Satoru: "Heh heh heh... Look at ya... all ready to go! No excuses if you lose again this time, okay?"
Jogo: "Don't worry about us... Just be sure to have your first excuse ready!"
Roots began to cover all the possible exits, trapping Satoru and the civilians inside.
Satoru: "Don't bother, I'm not going anywhere. If I run away... You're just gonna kill everyone here, right?" I mean that's why... I'm here "Well?"
Civilian: "What are those two talking about?"
Civilian: "You mean four?"
Jogo: "If you run away...? We're going to do that"
Suddenly, the platform screen doors suddenly opened, making the civilians fall right onto the tracks, completely flooding them.
Civilian: "Huh?!"
Civilian: "What?!"
Jogo: "Even if you... Don't!"
Satoru: "Get outta the way or you'll die." Hm... blocking the exits created a blind spot. I can't tell if there are people on the other side. I shouldn't break it!
The three cursed spirits began to assassinate every civilian they could, Jogo punched right through them, Choso chopped their forehead clean off and Hanami strike them with all of their force.
Jogo suddenly appeared behind Satoru as Hanami was in front. They both attempted to hit Satoru but ended up with the expected result, neither of them connecting. But that was their intention.
Jogo:
Jogo's punch surprisingly began to come closer to Satoru, but the latter jumped away just in time.
Satoru: "So that's the plan, huh? I should've figured, considering you're working with a curse user." Domain amplification looks like it's the same as new shadow's simple domain. If you think of simple barrier techniques as a box or prison that traps its target... Then domain amplification would be as if you're being surrounded by water. Maybe it's similar to the feeling when you initially push back against a domain. The chances of an attack missing will increase, but it will always neutralize the technique. With this method, I'm now vulnerable to their attacks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Getou: "Do you know when Satoru Gojo... Is in his element?"
Jogo and Getou were sitting by a tree sometime before the Shibuya incident. While Mahito and Hanami played with bubbles, along with Dagon.
Jogo: "Enough with the Chit Chat just tell me."
Getou: "It's... When he's alone. It doesn't matter who the sorcerer is. Anyone who fights alongside him just gets in his way. So let's use the even-more-inferior non-sorcerers to restrict his movement. Cursed technique reversal outputs at least twice as much energy as cursed technique lapse. It's almost impossible for there to not be collateral damage to non-sorcerers. It'll be hard for him to use his blue technique like normal. Using blue for the high-speed is difficult too. For non-sorcerers, it would be like dumping energy on them. They would instantly die if it touched them. Considering all this, Satoru Gojo will have to take a defensive stance."
Jogo: "What do we do against his unlimited void?"
Getou: "Satoru Gojo's unlimited void domain probably doesn't affect... him or anyone he's touching. Let's suppose he's skilled enough to allow only you guys inside. There'll be a significant number of non-sorcerers who will get crushed between unlimited void and the curtain. I'm 99 percent sure Satoru Gojo won't use domain expansion. That said, you guys can't use domain expansion either. If you trap a lot of non-sorcerers inside your domain... You'll give him no choice but to cast one as well. In a battle of domains, you know who would win, right? Just make sure you kill time and make him think about... curse counter-measures and how to save non-sorcerers. I need at least 20 minutes. After that, you can leave the rest to me and prison realm."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to the fight.
Jogo: "I thought we said... No running away. You need some more convincing?"
He decapitated a man with his bare hands, just before incinerating it.
Satoru: "Well, I'm surprised..."
Jogo: "What? You making excuses?"
Satoru: "Nah, baldy. I'm surprised you thought... you could beat me...Using your sorry excuse for a brain!"

Daily life of a cultivation judge
Tired of those cultivators who think it is righteous to eliminate a sect or clan root and stem all in the name of revenge and avoiding future troubles, fights over treasures that end up destroying cities with no consequence whatsoever to the culprit, these psychos whose aim for the peak always involves a trail of carnage and bloodshed in its wake for some reason. Then look no further than the daily life of a cultivation judge. Yang Qing, is a young genius cultivator from a low-tier family whose only safe choice to get resources and hopefully lead an easy life led him to the courts of the Cultivation Order Society. Author’s disclaimer: Hey there this is my first novel so any criticism will be well taken though beware I’m a million-year-old monster who has cultivated the way of the sword to the peak. The daily life of a cultivation judge will be true to its name so it will be heavily on the slice of life lane with a bit of action here and there.Meaning we will see the life of Yang Qing when he clocks in and out. Hopefully, it will be one of those novels you read if you need to relax or are in a slacker mood like one of those otakus who listen to the noises of cicadas in the summer famously used in most animes. And it is in the slacker spirit that chapter release will be on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Sank yuuu Cover art by Conny Schneider on Unsplash

The Dungeon Gods [DEAD - AWAITING REWRITE]
More than three centuries ago, the Great Mage, Arcius, Performed the single greatest feat a magician can accomplish, he looked into the future, and discovered his fate. In his visions, he discovered his reincarnation, to become a Dungeon. Desiring to rise to great heights again, even in his new life, he spent the remaining centuries he had researching and studying the strange beings called Dungeons, and devising a spell that would allow him to retain his memories. However, the very act of knowing what is to come can often be enough to alter Destiny. Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.

This Book
The author, Edward Faust is aware that “This Book” does not really describe what this book is about. We shall pretend that it is a meta artistic choice but the reality is that Mr. Faust is bad at coming up with titles, and since starting This Book back in 2015 as a NaNoWriMo project he could never come up with a good one. This Book’s genre is YA Supernatural, but that’s only as helpful as any genre tag (IE: not very) so I shall describe it further. This Book is primarily about reincarnation, but it also features mythical creatures such as angels (known here as Seraphs), demons, Byzantines, as well as homeschoolers. Two mythical homeschoolers in fact make up the main characters of this work, a pair of siblings named Grayson and Kish. They live in metro Atlanta in the year 2019 AD with their Aunt. On one particular day they are plunged into a rabbit hole of spiritual and metaphysical politics by the arrival of a mysterious one-eyed Green haired woman and strange humanoid creatures into their lives. That is where the story begins. Yes. This book can also be found at https://thisbook.home.blog/

Eighteen years later she prays to them to conceal her escape. But the freedom she sought for too long might not be as full as she could achieve. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ I don't know how to say this but I plan to try and tackle some heavy themes that I admit im not able to truly understand. I will strive to depict them as true to life and as respectfully as posible. So do have that in mind when reading, but I would also like to ask you to point out when I get something wrong. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hey people! This is my first sirious writing project, so I hope you'll like it. And if you don't thats OK, but i'd like if you could leave a coment or review so I know why, and I can fix or explain it.
