Satoru: "Hey, weed."
Satoru pointed at Hanami.
Satoru: "This is our third meeting, right? And you still haven't learned! You're going down first!"
The curses just stared at Satoru while he slowly approached them with a powerful aura.
Satoru: "So, c'mon. What's wrong? Weren't you the ones who told me... To not run away?"
Jogo and Hanami attempted to strike Satoru, but surprisingly, he blocked Jogo's attack with his arm.
Jogo: Did I just touch-
Satoru dodged an incoming kick from Hanami as he grabbed Jogo's arm with his two hands.
Satoru: "Ready... Steady..."
He twisted his body, ripping Jogo's arm. Turning around just in time to block a punch from Hanami using his newly obtained curse arm as a shield.
Jogo backed away as its arm slowly regenerated but Satoru was quick to follow him.
Hanami: He's going for Jogo. Did he say that earlier to confuse us? Not only that... He deactivated... His limitless cured technique! He decided to stop concentrating on his cursed technique. Since the number of people is starting to thin out... Does he plan to just use cursed energy and keep this fight confined to close quarters? But if that's the case, there's no point in getting the crowd involved anymore. All I need to do is... Use my cursed technique!
A root with a sharp end emerged next to Hanami.
Jogo: "Don't deactivate your amplification! Hanami!"
Satoru instantly turned around and jumped at Hanami, grabbing the two branches from his face.
Satoru: "Someone told me that... This is your weak point."
He used Hanami's body to propel himself while still holding the two branches, completely ripping them from Hanami's body. Leaving the curse with empty sockets.
Satoru: "Thought so. You can't use amplification and your innate technique... at the same time."
Jogo: The only reason I survived earlier was because the amplification technique was protecting me! He's this strong even though he's just using cursed energy manipulation and physical attacks! Satoru Gojo... Is there anything you don't have?!
Suddenly, some civilians that were close to Satoru were decapitated by a stream of blood. He turned to see the attacker and it was none other than Choso, who stayed out of the battle between the sorcerer and curses.
Choso: "Tch."
Satoru: That guy's not a cursed spirit. I bet he's a cursed womb: death painting. Even though he bugs me, he doesn't seem to be as proactive as these two. He can wait.
Hanami and Jogo attempted to strike Satoru from the back and front. But it was stopped by his strengthened limitless technique.
Satoru: "You sure about that? If you try to neutralize my technique with your amplification... Then I'll counter it by strengthening my cursed technique. This useless tree over here... Might not be up to the challenge."
Jogo: "Wha-?!"
Satoru faced Hanami and stroked the curse with a powerful attack.
Jogo: "Satoru Gojo! Over here!"
Jogo tried to distract Satoru from killing Hanami by aiming a cursed technique at a group of civilians, but it was no use. Hanami was just a splash of blood on the wall.
Jogo: "Hanami..."
Satoru: "Next."

The Mei Mei team with an assistant informed them about the new situation.

Assistant: "This is the curtain that's surrounding the station and trapping civilians. Inside, there's another curtain on the Fukutoshin line platform that's keeping Jujutsu Sorcerers out. Between the two curtains is... the cursed spirit or curse user who cast the curtains.
Mei Mei: "Between? Not at the platform?"
Assistant: "We think that whoever it is... is taking that risk in order to strengthen the barrier. Two auxiliary managers have already been taken down. Also, in between curtains... well... we can't be so sure."
Mei Mei: "It's fine. Go ahead, say it."
Itadori: "Eh?"
Assistant: "... In between the curtains... There may be transfigured humans."
With the assistant's revelation, only one certain thing came up to Itadori's mind. Mahito.
The team quickly made their way to the metro entrance of the Meiji-Jingumae station. Where Mei Mei stood still just by the top of the stairs, Ui Ui and Itadori behind her. Using her curse technique to see in the crows' eyes.
Itadori: "What is she doing? We're in a hurry!"
Ui Ui: "Shh. My dear sister is sharing her vision with the crows right now. She has to concentrate on this. Be Quiet."
Mei Mei: "I don't really mind, you can talk."
Itadori: "So she says."
Ui Ui: "Oh, dear sister, you!"
Suddenly, she lost connection to her crow by it being injured.
Mei Mei: "... Yep. I more or less get it now. Itadori-kun. Would you prefer to kill a bunch of weak mutated humans, or exorcise a single strong cursed spirit."
Itadori stayed silent while staring at Mei Mei.
Mei Mei: "Well, I bet you'll pick the second one. The mutated humans are wandering about and attacking the civilians in B4F. I think most of the civilians are on the Fukutoshin line platform in B5F."
Itadori: "You think?"
Mei Mei: "The crows I use get cloaked in cursed energy, after all. I couldn't see inside B5F myself. I guess the civilians ended up having no choice but to run away to lower floors since they were being chased. And my crows were hunted down between B1F and B2F." Reminds me of a certain someone... Wonder If he'll come. "The curse user or cursed spirit that cast the curtains must be there. Perhaps they're there so they can eliminate the civilians escaping back up, or it might be one of the conditions for this 'curtain'... But it's hard to say why they're staying in one place, or what they're hiding in B5F."
Itadori: "He's down there, right? Below here... That guy."
Mei Mei: "I couldn't say. The crows were killed before I could find that guy with the patchwork face. But he must be, considering that there are mutated humans. It might be a bad idea to split our forces, but if we hesitate too much, everyone in B4F could get killed. We'll use the seventh entrance to go directly to B4F and rescue the civilians. If things get rough, you run down there as well. But honestly, I hope that by the time you reunite with us... The 'curtains' will be raised, the civilians are rescued, and you've identified what person in B5F wants."

Itadori: "Don't worry Mei-san. I'm not... gonna lose anymore."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todo: "Hey, (y/n)-san. Utahime-sensei messaged me, we're being sent to Tokyo as reinforcements."
(y/n): "Eh? B-but... Why do they need more?"
Todo: "I don't know. But if they're even asking for Kyoto sorcerers, it must have gone bad."
(y/n): "Hm... there's your Gojo then... suckers..."
Todo: "Let's leave as soon as possible, the bullet train's leaving soon."
(y/n): "Oh, I'll go by another way. You get going."
Todo: "What do you mean another way?"
(y/n): "Trust me, it's quicker. I'll be there in no time."
Todo: "Can I go with you, then? It'll be better if we arrive quicker."
(y/n): "Oh... Yeah... about that... It's complicated."
Todo: "Why is that?"
(y/n): "Only I can enter."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Itadori had made his way down the set of stairs only to be met with a curse, but not the one he was expecting.
Curse: "Hunh? The fuck you looking at?"
Itadori stared as the grasshopper-looking curse was devouring a dead man's head. Closing his fist with anger.
Curse: "Y-you-you're a... Shumm- Shamm- Sham- A shaman, right? You're a shaman, right? I'm smart!"
Itadori: "I know there's a cursed spirit with a patchwork face here. Where is he?"
Curse: "Patch...work...? Patchwork?"
Itadori: "I mean a guy with stitches in his face."
Curse: "I'm not dumb! I know that! I'm... smart... Mahito is down... I'm protecting the 'curtain' here."
Itadori: "Mahito..." Barrier techniques are hard after all... There's a bunch of guys who can't do it even though they're strong.
Satoru: I can do both though!
Itadori: This guy made a 'curtain'? Two of them? strange...
Itadori then noticed the nail with paper wrapped around it, just some distance away from the grasshopper. Remembering what it said 'I'm protecting the 'curtain' here.'
Itadori: Not 'creating' or 'lowering'. 'Protecting' he said. That thing is suspicious, then. Well, imma break it.
Curse: "Mahito's jujuchu is no good... Did you know? When a human's shape is changed... IT TASTES WORSE. I'M SMART SO... I CAN TELL!"
Suddenly the curse was hit by a powerful kick, coming from Itadori. Sending it flying to a wall, followed by a punch.
Itadori: "You damn bastards... Each and every one of you... Stop underestimating humans so much."
Curse: "You're not smart... are you?! I doubt you can even tell... What kind of curse I am. Did you know? In this world... Those who aren't smart are the first to die!"
Itadori: "... You're a grasshopper right? You look just like one."
Curse: "!!!" This guy... IS SMART!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As (y/n) was walking toward his secret destination, but suddenly his phone began to vibrate, he 'looked' down to his pocket and made a small gap in his bandages to see what it is. It was Mai, who was calling him, getting his device out of his pocket he answered and put the phone on his ear.
(y/n): "Hello?"
Mai: "Hi, (y/n)?"
(y/n): "Mai! How's your mission?"
Mai: "It's fine... I guess, there wasn't much, and some of us are already done."
(y/n): "That's good to hear!"
Mai: "You're going to... Tokyo... Are you?"
(y/n): "I'm heading there right now, Utahime-sensei told me and Todo."
Mai: "Oh... Is it really that bad there, in Shibuya?"
(y/n): "I don't know. They probably just need us just in case, but I couldn't say."
Mai sighed as she stayed silent for a few seconds.
(y/n): "Hello?"
Mai: "Yeah, sorry... Just... Be careful, okay?... Don't die."
(y/n): "Mai... I'm flattered! Did you call me to wish me luck? You might as well send me a kiss!"
Mai: "Oh, screw you! You know what you can just go and die!"
(y/n): "He he he... Don't worry, I won't die."
Mai: "Tch... You better."
Mai hung up, as (y/n) slowly put his phone down and into his pocket, with a slight smile stuck to his face.
(y/n): I won't...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back with Itadori and the grasshopper curse, they both were still going at it.
The locust plague was a large-scale catastrophe characterized by grasshoppers. They eat not only crops, but also hair, clothing, sheds, and anything made out of plants. An adult grasshopper eats the equivalent of its own weight a day. Which means that a swarm of 1 ton of grasshoppers can consume food enough to feed 2500 humans for a day. Their bizarre chewing noises would reverberate throughout the day and night. And what remains after the swarm leaves is a desolate land covered by black mucus secreted by the grasshoppers. A sight far from peaceful.
The people, seeing this devil-like insect. Have feared it, hated it, and cursed it.
Itadori: Woah, look at those incredible legs, and that jaw. And since it can understand words, it must be a high-level curse...
The curse tried to strike Itadori with a punch, but the sorcerer dodged and made some distance between them.
Itadori: It bites, and has 4 arms that it can control freely. And it comes at me with no hesitation. He's only running... It probably doesn't have any petty tricks.
Curse: "Which are you?"
Itadori: "Which what?"
Curse: "Are you smart or not smart? I'm... smart..."
Itadori: "People who are smart... Don't really go around saying that to themselves."
Curse: IS THAT SO?!
The curse covered its jaw with two arms, seeming super shocked by Itadori's statement. And both fighters quickly prepared themselves for another round. And they went at it
Curse: This is a battle of... two arms versus four arms! My arms, jaws, and eyes... Are better than that of a human's. But then, why... Why am I the only one... getting hit...?!"
The curse recovered from Itadori's powerful attacks, and the latter approached him.
Curse: But as expected... I'm smarter!
Grasshoppers lay eggs underground. For this reason, their abdomens are flexible, and the tip can be hardened and extended up to 3 times their normal length.
Curse: I won.
The grasshopper curse bent his abdomen as it hardened the tip. But just as it was about to hit Itadori, the sorcerer dodged it and with a powerful strike tore it in half.
The curse had a petty attack... But, more than that...
Itadori: "You ate people... You better be ready."
There was a gap between them. That couldn't be closed by petty tricks alone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ui Ui: "Dear sister."
Mei Mei: "Yeah?"
Ui Ui: "The 'curtain' got raised."
Mei Mei: "Let's head for B5F and wait for Itadori-kun."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mahito: "The locust guy got done in. A strong shaman must've come. Too bad, I wanted to fight too... But it can't be helped. I have work to do."
