"I'm going to scream." Otto whispered to JJ, the blonde looked across at his wife.
"Don't scream, be calm, it's fine." He tried to calm down the woman who was on the verge of a rampage. Hormones are a crazy thing.
"She's acting like we're stupid," she hissed, annoyed not at him but the doctor.
"We're about to leave," he tried putting out the raging inferno.
"We've done this twice already, it's not like I don't understand how a baby works, it shits, it eats, hold it's neck, don't drop it." She grumbled, running her hands up and down the newborns back. She was exhausted, sore and sleep deprived.
"She was asking me if I knew how to change a nappy, and did you see the way she looked at me when I said this was the third baby? I swear she was a second away from asking if they all had the same father."
"Are they all from the same father?" He tried to lighten the mood.
"No, obviously not, I had to have at least one baby with a brain," she glared at him
"Hit a man where it hurts," he put his hand over his heart.
"Speaking of hitting met where it hurts, you're getting the problem fixed, like actually fixed, no more babies. This time I'm serious." She sat up, gesturing that she wanted JJ to take the baby.
"I'll sort it out, no more babies." He nodded.
He was just pleased he got three.
"Freddie is being a little shit, he punched that kid, I know he deserved it, but still," Otto wanted, getting up off the bed gingerly.
"It was a brave move, the kid's like twice his size," JJ looked a little proud.
"We can't encourage violence, JJ." She said sternly.
"He has to stick up for himself," he tried to argue on behalf of his son.
"He's six, we can put him in karate, let him get his frustration out in a healthy manner." She tried to come to a logical conclusion.
"If that's what you think that sounds good to me," he said, looking at the fresh baby.
After Freddie she was adamant that it was a one and done, but then Winnie happened, and when she saw the way he looked at Winnie she decided that one more wouldn't hurt. But just like the first time, she did not feel the need for another baby.
She was freshly twenty-two with three kids, she was years ahead of the average timeline.
"And did you see her face when she asked about any other things that could be relevant to my health and you told her I got shot? She looked like she was on the phone with child services." JJ just let her get her frustration out, at least she wasn't crying. He couldn't deal with her crying.
As Otto was finishing up getting dressed the nurse came in, Otto and the nurse locked eyes.

The bitch of a nurse.
"Back for baby number two?" She asked, judgemental as ever.
"Three, she's lucky number three." Otto said, her voice tense.
"Mummy is about to get very annoyed, and she's going to complain for hours," JJ whispered to the baby.
"Ahh, and what name did you decide on?" She asked, pen and paper in hand.
"Josie, not Josephine, just Josie, and it's Moreau, not Maybank - do you need me to spell it for you?" She said, her tone prickly.
"Just Josie? Did you consider Josephine," the nurse said, not looking up from the paper.
"Well her siblings are Freddie and Winnie, so Josephine wouldn't really fit the vibe, so just Josie. And your judgement is really not appreciated." JJ finally deicded to step in, sick of the nurse's shit, the nurse hummed and filled out the paper work.
Within the hour the both of them were discharged and on their way home.
"If I never had to see that woman again it would be too soon," Otto said, getting into the car.
"It's done now, I'll book myself in to get it sorted and we won't have to see her again, okay?" He said, trying to calm her down.
"When are we picking the other two up?" She moved on, trying to put the nurse behind her.
"Kiara offered to take them for a day or two so we can get comfortable, but it's up to you."
"Just give me a day, I can't deal with a six year old with a new found violent streak, and a three year old that refuses to wear shoes, while trying not to cry every three seconds," she decided.
"I can't believe Freddie is six," he says, in complete disbelief as he parked out the front.
"I'm more in shock that there are another two, how you manipulated me--"
"I did not even slightly persuade you, you were the one that wanted a third. And Winnie was a complete accident," He stopped me right in my lying tracks.
Otto was smirking, "I remember you begging, 'please Tillie, I will not be fulfilled without thousands of children, I am only half a man', don't you remember that?"
She unlocked the door while he walked inside with the baby, "That's not even remotely funny."
"So you're not happy with three? You wish we stopped with Freddie?" She teased him, knowing how happy he was when she told him after Winnie - after the initial shock wore off.
"Sometimes I want to strangle you," he shook his head, a smile on his face.
"I am your wife," she said the w word.
"What did you call yourself," he couldn't help but point it out, she never called herself his wife.
"Oh shut up," she grumbled, when JJ sat the car seat on the ground she pulled the baby out.

"I love you so much, you know?" He said, he said it as much as he could.
She turned to look at him, holding the tiny baby.
"Good, I'm fabulous." A wide smile on her face.
At times like this, watching her with his baby - his third baby - he was in awe at how his life turned out. If you told JJ the day he read that text that this would be where he would end up he would've cursed you out, and he would've further cursed you out if you said he was beyond happy.
Because he was, beyond happy, he loved creating a family with the best person he ever had the privilege to meet.
"Stop staring at me," she said, turning away to walk to the bedroom.
"You gonna tell me you love me?" He shouted through the small house.
"Never." She replied.
While every person that truly knew Otto knew that she loved JJ completely and utterly, they also knew she wasn't one to make great public declarations of love. She said it when it felt right, after her prior experience of saying it to stop a fight she didn't want to use the phrase as a plaster, it held too much meaning toward JJ, she didn't want to taint that by saying it without it being a perfect time to say it; now that meant it was sporadic, sometimes, not very often, sometimes it'd be once a week, occasionally as often as twice a day, but that was it.
But that only made it more special to JJ, he was secure in their relationship, he knew she loved him, he knew she loved him before she knew.
After grabbing a fluffy blanket Otto made herself comfortable on the sofa, JJ followed suit after unpacking everything. It was a jumbled mess, even with baby number three they weren't ready. It was a rush, throwing things into a bag, Otto telling him to hurry up, JJ trying to find things that were sat right in front of him - it was a mess.
But they picked the names out, the learnt that lesson. They had one for if it was a boy, and one for if it was a girl. It wasn't just the first name that came into Otto's head.
"I swear if any of them so much as look at drugs too long I will chain them to their bed," Otto said, looking down at Josie.
"And if any of them get or get someone pregnant before the age of twenty there will be trouble," JJ added, also staring at the baby.
"We're fucking hypocrits." She smiled.
"Yeah, I guess" JJ laughed.
"I mean, we turned out alright," she looked over to JJ.
"Kinda." He smirked.
"You're a little rough around the edges," she couldn't help but take a little dig at him.
"I can't be mean to you because you'll cry, but know I'm thinking mean things," he said as the world's worst rebutle.
"I just gave you a fucking human, you shouldn't be mean to be, ever. And need I mention this is the third one, you should be kissing my feet."
"Tillie, would you like me to kiss your feet?" He asked, knowing exactly how she'd react.
"Eww, no, but you know what I mean."
"Give me the baby," he gestured, she rolled her eyes and handed it to him.
"The ratio of who is more mean to the other is very off balance," he said, leaning back into the sofa.
"If you add up all the time I've been pregnant you can blame a lot of it on that, there's a lot of hormones."
"Trust me, I am very well aware." He smirked.
"That's mean, what happened to not being mean." She said, making her voice crack and her eyes well up with tears. She had the routine down pat.
"Fuck, no, I didn't mean it. You just-- I'm sorry," He looked a little horrified, sitting up to try and rectify the situation.
"You should be, I have done a lot of work on your behalf," she said, cutting the crying I out.
He realised she had been faking and dropped against the seat again, "You had me stressed."
"I love you."
The perfect moment. She deicded it was right then.
"I love you, too."

I decided after the way I left things in the alternate ending I'd offer this as an olive branch.
I also wanted to add if you like the way I wrote this I have two other stories you may like (or hate, you never know) I'll add the descriptions below, if either of them tickle your fancy.
Harry embodied the quote 'live fast, die young', surviving on a diet of cocaine and vodka, with getting into police chases his only hobby, it was obvious he didn't plan on staying around very long.
Even when the blonde haired girl who spent an entire summer trying everything to show him what good life has to offer, he seemingly didn't care. He lived in a haze of addiction for so long he couldn't see the way out.
But there is always a way out.
And it only takes one person to lead you out of the darkness.
No feelings, no strings, no friendship, or God-forbid anything beyond that.
Those are the rules of JJ Maybank and Frankie Marcus' relationship. If you can even call late-night hookups a relationship.
But rules are meant to be broken, aren't they?
As for Liar, Liar, it has been edited so it's ready for s3! If you read either of those I'll see you there, if not, thank you for reading, I didn't think anyone would care about this, but people did, so love ya
