《The Gangleader and Me ✅✔ (Completed)》The Detective?

The boys and I were standing on the outside of a grocery store while waiting on Noah.
"Can someone go tell Noah to hurry up." Scott groans while looking around at us.
"Shit...guys...the Detective who arrested us the other night is heading our way." I heard Chase saying as he lowered his head.
"Let's shift." Tyson said.
"How did you guys get arrested?" I asked Chase while they slowly started to scatter among the street to blend with the citizens on the sidewalks.
"We got into a small street fight with some thugs and accidentally crashed a store nearby, but he released us with a warning to stay off the streets within school hours." He told me while he turned to walk away with Tyson.
"And since we had a free session, we wouldn't want him to see us wandering around in town, because he would start investigating us." Tyson added as he pulled his hoodie over his head.
I glanced in the direction of the Detective and I discovered it was Detective Johnson.
Then my breathing slightly arch in my chest as I watched him coming up the street with his hands in his pockets while he slowly looked around.
I knew the Detective from back home, but I didn't know the reason why he's currently in this town...
"You guys can go, I know him." I said and Tyson narrowed his eyes at me along with Chase.
"We deserve an explanation whenever we get home." Tyson informed me before he continued to walk away with Chase and I realized the others were nowhere in sight.
I curiously turned my attention to the Detective as I stood by the alley next to the grocery store and I waited for him to encounter me on the sidewalk.
When he got closer, he looked twice before he stared at me and I waved to him then he looked around before he started to approach me with a smile.
"Ashley Sky...It's a surprise seeing you in this city." He told me as he straightened his brown trench coat.
"I'm currently living here now." I confirmed with a nod.
"With your father and step-mom?" He questioned with hint of curiosity on his face.
I nodded.
"Oh, so why did you move all the way here, to Los Angeles?" He asked while he crossed his hands over his chest.
"You're supposed to know the reason, Detective, you helped me with the case." I recalled while I pointed a finger at him.
I had many reasons why I moved to this city, but the main reason relies on my psycho ex-boyfriend who's currently spending a lifetime in jail.
"Oh...with that boy, Timmy?" He exhaled a deep breath and I slowly nodded.
"So, what are you doing here?" I decided to inquire while I motioned my head to him.
"I was reassigned to the Police department here, to investigate a case relating to some uprising gangs in schools." He claimed while he glanced down the sidewalk.
"Gangs?" I muttered too loud and he looked at me with a nod.
"Do you know of any?" He questioned while he stared at me and I stared at him as well.
"No...how would I know of any gang?" I slightly chuckled as I lied.
"Well, you mostly tend to hang around with school gangs, back home with your brother Justin." He reminded me while looking disappointed at his point.
"No, I don't know of any gangs." I lied as I shook my head.

"Well, if you come across any in your school...here's my card...give me a call." He told me as he handed a card to me.
"Well...bye and tell your parents I said hello." He said as he slowly continued to walk away and I watched as he crossed the street.
I looked at the card in my hand then I saw Noah walking out of the store with his hands filled with bags which most likely contains food.
"Seriously?" I asked Noah as I slipped the card into my pocket and he approached me with a shrug of his shoulders.
"What...I was hungry and I am sure you are too, but where are the others?" He asked while looking around at the street.
I slightly chuckled.
"I think the boys went home." I said while I ran a hand through my hair.
"Oh, there they are." He said as he motioned his head to the alleyway beside the grocery store.
I looked in the alley and I saw the boys coming through the pathway with Tyson at the front.
They were spying on me?
"Let's shift." I declared.
"How did you guys get arrested?" I heard Ashley asking as my gang started to walk away.
"We got into a small street fight with some thugs and accidentally crashed a store nearby, but he released us with a warning to stay off the streets within school hours." Chase explained while he turned to walk away with me.
"And since we had a free session, we wouldn't want him to see us wandering around in town, because he would start investigating us." I said while I pulled my hoodie over my head.
"You guys can go, I know him." I heard Ashley saying when I was about to take her by the hand and I narrowed my eyes at her.
She's full of mysteries...
"We deserve an explanation whenever we get home." I told her before I started to walk away with Chase.
"Tyson, are we seriously just going to leave her...would if she snitch on us?" Chase informed me as he pointed a thumb behind him and I figured he would've asked.
"No, she won't, but we will circle back and hide in the alley beside the store." I decided since I had the same thought.
He nod while we caught up with the others down the crowded sidewalk at the pedestrian crossing.
I informed the gang about Ashley's decision and we circled back to the alley beside the grocery store by trespassing the back entrance of a nearby shoe store.
We entered the alley and we stopped behind a bunch of empty boxes next to an outdoor garbage container.
Then we heard the Detective talking...
"...did you move all the way here, to Los Angeles?"
"You're supposed to know the reason, Detective, you helped me with the case." I heard Ashley responding.
What case?
"What case?" I heard Chase whispering to me at the same time.
"Don't know...don't care." I shrugged as I continued to listen to the conversation.
"Oh...with that boy, Timmy?" I heard the Detective sighing and Ashley didn't respond.
Timmy...Who the fuck is Timmy?
"Who the fuck is Timmy?" I heard Mason whispering out loud as if he was reading my mind.
"Maybe he's her brother?" I heard Scott suggesting.
"Shush." I shut them up and they went silent...
"...what are you doing here?" I heard Ashley asking the Detective.

"I was reassigned to the Police department here, to investigate a case relating to some uprising gangs in schools." I heard the Detective responding.
Would she really spill on us?
"Do you know of any?" I heard the Detective questioning Ashley.
"You think she will tell him about us?" I heard Chase whispering among the gang.
"No, she won't." I shook my head.
"How are you so sure?" I looked at Tyler with irritation when he asked me the question and I saw Mason rolling his eyes.
She's just different from the rest of bitches I knew and that's good enough, at the moment...
"She wouldn't." I said before I returned my attention to the entrance of the alley.
"No...how would I know of any gang?" I heard Ashley chuckling.
"Well, you mostly tend to hang around with school gangs, back home with your brother Justin." I heard the Detective saying and I raised a brow in curiosity.
"Mmm...she's a badass." I heard Mason chuckling.
A bad bitch?
I slightly smirked.
"So, Timmy isn't her brother...then who the hell is Timmy?" I heard Chase asking among the gang.
I know Chase has feelings for Ashley and it kinda makes me jealous sometimes, but I don't know why....
"Shush." I shut them, once again since I was getting irritated by my own thoughts and they went silent.
"No, I don't know of any gangs." I heard Ashley lying.
"Well, if you come across any in your school...here's my card...give me a call." I heard the Detective saying and I rolled my eyes.
"Well...bye and tell your parents I said hello." Was the last thing the Detective said.
As soon as his voice descended, we started to exit the alley then we encountered Ashley standing with Noah.
When they both saw us, I realized Ashley seemed pissed off and I pulled down my hoodie while staring at her.
"You were spying on me?" She raised her voice as we stood together on the sidewalk.
"Who is Timmy?" I ignored her question while realizing Noah was holding grocery bags.
"I can't believe you." She scoffed.
"Ashley, who was the Detective talking about?" Chase decided to question her as well and she looked at him.
I glared a bit.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She shrugged her shoulders.
"Just tell us, already." I demanded an answer and she looked at me with her light brown eyes.
"Timmy is someone from my past." Is all she said as she looked the other way.
"What did he do to you?" I decided to inquire while I slide my hands into my pocket and the others looked at me.
"And how does that concern you, Tyson?" She asked while staring at me.
"Because it fucking does." I told her in an obvious tone though I didn't exactly know why I was concerned.
"Just forget about it." She told me as she rolled her eyes and I glared at her.
"Let's go home." Mason suddenly suggested while he looked between us.
I nodded in agreement.
When we finally got home, I went up to my bedroom in total annoyance and I made sure to lock the door behind me.
I threw myself onto the bed and I laid on my back with irritating groans then I closed my eyes...
However, I realized I had fallen asleep when I was suddenly awoken by the sound of a dog barking.
I started to stretch in the bed.
"Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff " I heard Beauty barking at the door.
"Go away, Beauty." I demanded as I continued to stretch my feet and I heard her barking while crawling against the door.
"Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff" She continued to bark and I exhaled a sigh.
I stood up from the bed and I opened the door for her to enter, but I saw Tyson instead.
Then I saw Beauty wiggling her tail before she ran away with a chewing ball in her mouth and Tyson entered my bedroom.
What a traitor?
I returned to my bed and I laid in silence while Tyson leans against the wall with his eyes on me.
"Dinner is ready and the boys are still here, so come and eat." He informed me and I kept quiet.
"I'm sorry about earlier." I suddenly heard and I looked at him.
"Did you just say sorry?" I slowly sat on the bed while pointing a finger at him
"So, what?" Is all he asked while shrugging it off and I stared at him.
"I will be down in a sec." I told him as I laid back in the bed.
"What...you aren't hungry?" I heard him asking.
"Nope, I don't feel like eating at the moment." I said while I stretched my hands.
"I'm the one who prepared dinner." I heard him admitting and I immediately stood up from the bed since I was curious about the results.
"I knew you couldn't resist me." I realized he was smirking as I stood beside him.
"Can you resist me?" I asked as I glanced at his lips and he slightly chuckled.
"You want to skip dinner and find out?" He questioned while he looked me in the eyes and my breathing arch.
"Um...no." I chuckled before I ran out of the bedroom and down the stairs I went, while he playfully came after me.
"Woah, Ashley...why are you running?" Noah was the first to inquire when I entered the dinning room and I quickly took a seat at the table.
"I just felt like running." I did a little stretch with my hands into the air.
Mason chuckled.
"My ship." Noah said with a smirk on his face and I playfully rolled my eyes.
"Oh, Ashley...there you are." Tyson said as he entered the dinning room.
"Yeah...I am right here in front of all the boys." I said as I gestured my hands around the dinning table and everyone chuckled, awkwardly.
"You two are so weird." Chase said while he ruffled his hair.
Well, he's behaving strange since lately...
"I am not weird...he is the weird one." I frowned as I pointed to Tyson and he chuckled while he headed to the kitchen with Mason.
Chase shrugged.
"Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff Ruff " Beauty barked while coming out of nowhere.
"See...even Beauty thinks you're weird, Tyson." I yelled loud enough for Tyson to hear.
"Oh, look a mini version of Tyson and Ashley." Noah said with a chuckle as he pointed at Beauty and I glared at him.
The boys chuckled.
"Her name's Beauty." I told him.
"Dinner is served." Tyson entered the dining room with different trays while Mason was assisting him.
"Thank you for the food." We all shouted before we dug into the different trays on the table.
Tyson smirked.
I am surprised, he didn't actually burn the kitchen!
