"Well, this is an unexpected sight to see." I heard a voice which was followed by a flash of light.
I groaned while opening my eyes.
Then I realized I was surrounded by a group of boys and I blinked twice at the sudden sight.
I frowned when I saw they all were wearing shirts.
"What the heck?" I heard my pillow groaning while I slowly looked around.
Wait...Pillows don't talk!
My eyes shot down to see Tyson glaring at the boys and I was laying against his chest in the sofa.
I immediately sat up while trying to catch my balance before I could stumble to the floor and someone helped me...
"You should be more careful." The person told me then I looked up to see a boy with grayish eyes and light brown hair which had a low fade haircut.
"I'm just a bit sleepy." I slightly chuckled while I stood straight and he released my hand.
"My name is Carlos." He slightly smiled as he pulled his headset down from his ears.
I slowly nodded.
"Ashley." I introduced myself.
"And I am Scott." The other unknown boy standing inside the living room introduced himself. He was red headed and he had chestnut eyes with an earlobe piercing.
I slowly nodded.
"What are you guys doing here?" I heard Tyson asking as he sat up in the sofa while ruffling his hair and catching everyone's attention.
"My dear ship." Mason whispered in my ear as he held a phone in his hand while exiting the room.
I slightly chuckled at him.
"Dude...Today is Saturday...Fun fucking day." I heard Noah cheering while he entered the living room with a bowl of cornflakes in his hands.
"What the f...!" Tyson suddenly stood up from the sofa while looking at Noah..."Dude, that's my frosted flakes."
I chuckled.
"Gimme some." I heard Tyler demanding as he approached Noah and Tyson sighed while he slowly stretched his arms.

"Noah...Remember my share." I saw Scott jogging towards Noah as well and I continued to chuckle.
"Fuck you bitches!" Noah yelled as he firmly held the bowl in his hands while running away.
"They're idiots." Carlos informed me while he took a seat in the sofa chair with his headset resting around his neck.
Then I slightly smiled to myself while I watched Tyler and Scott going after Noah.
Just then, I heard laughter filling the hallway after a crashing sound and a cry of help.
"Ahhh...my fucking flakes." I heard Noah yelling, tearfully, between the laughter.
"Tyson....bro, I want pancakes." I took a seat against the armrest of the sofa when I heard Mason yelling from the kitchen.
Tyson raised an eyebrow with his arms crossed over his chest while he looked in the direction towards the kitchen.
I ran a hand through my hair.
"Your Mom is out and I am very sure, I'm not the only one who's fucking hungry right now." Mason continued to yell from the kitchen and I touched my stomach.
"Go fuck some eggs and flour, dude." Tyson yelled in respond as he started to exit the living room.
"There's no fucking eggs!"
"Then go fuck some chickens at the grocery store and get some damn eggs!"
With that, everyone laughed.
*********
"Ashley." I heard Tyson calling my name from upstairs.
I groaned while I handed the video game controller to Mason since I was currently playing against Noah.
"Mmmyyy ssshhhiiippp." Noah pointed a finger at me and the boys chuckled.
I playfully rolled my eyes while I exited the living room and I went up the staircase to Tyson bedroom.
"Yes?" I entered his bedroom without knocking.
Then I saw Tyson holding an adorable puppy in his arms while he stood beside the window.
I slightly smiled as I approached him and I started to pet the puppy when I realized it was a German Shepard.

"Awe...she's cute and she seems pretty healthy too." I cooed at the puppy and Tyson chuckled.
"How did you know it's a she?" He asked while looking at me and I ran a hand through my hair.
"Just a simple intuition." I said with a shrug of my shoulders.
"Well, she's for you." He told me while he looked at the puppy in his arms and I stared at him.
"Since you are going to be here for the time being, my Mom thought I should present you with a small gift on her behalf and she suggested a friendly puppy to keep your company." He informed me and I watched as the puppy yawned in his arms.
"I don't think I can accept." I said as I shook my head and he raised a brow at me.
"Why...? She's too cheap for your liking, huh?" He asked in a harsh manner as he caressed the puppy by the ear.
"No...of course not." I scoffed before looking into the puppy's eyes.
"I want the puppy, but..." I exhaled a breath while remembering my step-mother's allergic to dogs.
"Okay, I will just bring her back to the pound and buy you a Barbie doll without a Ken or the Barbie house." Tyson suggested as he walked around me.
"No!" I said as I held onto his shirt and he stopped in his tracks while the puppy barks.
"Fine, I will include the Barbie house, but I'm still not buying the Ken doll." He sighed while he turned around to me and I slightly chuckled at him.
"Or perhaps, you prefer a legendary Chucky doll?" He slightly smirked at that point and I rolled my eyes, playfully.
"No, I don't want any dolls, I will take the puppy." I smiled while I released my hand from his shirt and he kept eye contact with me.
"You do know how to train a dog and take care of a puppy, right?" He asked with curiosity on his face while he handed me the puppy.
"Well, she's going to be my first pet in a long while, so I'm going to take baby steps." I admitted while I held the puppy in my arms.
I haven't been able to keep a pet since my Father got married...
Tyson slightly chuckled.
"Just try to keep the puppy fed for my Mother's sake." He pats my shoulder as he moved over to his bed and I chuckled while the puppy barks.
"Thanks, Tyson and I really appreciate your Mom's generosity." I said while I turned to look at him and he nods.
"You can give the puppy a name like, Tyson Junior and in the honor of me." He suggested with a wink as he took a seat on his bed and the puppy slightly growled.
"Nope, the puppy refuses your honor and so do I." I smirked at him and he touched his chest while closing his eyes with a hurting expression on his face.
I chuckled.
"What about...puppy chow?" He asked while motioning a hand towards me as he opened his eyes. I sighed and the puppy continued to growl.
"It's a female, not a male puppy." I recalled while staring at him and he shrugged his shoulders.
"Um...what about...Beauty?" I suddenly thought of a common word and he slowly nodded in agreement.
The puppy barks.
"Sounds good enough." He told me while he snapped his fingers and I chuckled as I looked at the puppy.
"Beauty it is."

A Crone's Trade
Latgalay lusts for beauty, power. When her tribe’s raid is repulsed, and when a wizard counter attacks, Latgalay seizes power. But there is a cost: her soul. Setting is in an alternate reality during the Roman incursion of Britania. Latgalay is from an embellished tribe of Picts, there are Spirits, Magic, and some pretty dark shit. I wrote this one back in 2015, when I was in a completely different headspace. Like, seriously. Dark. I've gone through and edited some of the worst of it out, but the tone is still there.

However, where there is power, there will always be those who seek to abuse it. They aren't content with sharing, and will do absolutely anything to stop Gareth from becoming who he was destinied to be. Caveat: While the novel does contain the LitRPG tag, this is not the primary focus of the story. Instead, the LitRPG structure is used as a plot device within this story.

Small Pond
In a world without systems, levels, or any standard power levels, Faust is a naturally skeptical person who always asks questions first and accepts after he gets confirmation. A lot of it. With some information unknown to the reader, represented as [?], Faust is left to discover who kidnapped him, where he is, if magic exists, and what to do while the reader silently observes him. And as for the YOU dear reader, I'll need your help choosing some things... Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school. The Czarina's Buccaneer
RELEASES EVERY MONDAY AT 18:30 CST ----- After suffering the torments of slavery, the destruction of his nation, and the massacre of his band of brothers, Rodion Kazansky craves revenge and yearns for the freedom owed to him as a proud Cossack. A lost horse and a chance meeting with the Catherine the Great set him off on a journey that will take him from the steppes of the Crimea to the beaches of the Gold Coast of Africa and back again. There he will face British slavers, pirates, and the ghosts of his past to become the bane of his enemies as the Czarina's Buccaneer. ----- DISCLAIMER: This novel acknowledges the fact that the Cossacks, and the Ukrainian people by extension, are unique and not simply a "different variety of Russians." The main character views the Russians as "moskal foreigners" and does not see himself as one. This also acknowledges the fact that the czarina deprived many of the Cossacks of their freedom, something that the main character resents.
