《Eris, the Alpha of silence.》Chapter 38

A/N: I'm sorry, I know I suck and I haven't updated in a long while but I had some important exams and now I just got my first job which is quite tiring.🥹
I also had a bit of a writer's block and did not want to write a chapter which did not fit my ideology and general hard work.
Eris started walking towards him, the storm brewing behind her eyes still present.
His trembling body brought her exstasy, her own body thrummed.
"Not right, not right." He groaned out and she ignored him.
Taking two more steps, she came in contact with his body, she raised her leg and slammed it on his chest, bending down she reached out and pulled his head up by his hair, a weird glint overtaking her eyes. He struggled to get out of her grip yet her only response was to tighten her hold, shaking her head she closed her beautiful eyes in bliss which proved to be a mistake. Taking advantage of her lack of sight the man on the ground raised his fingers and formed another mist, Eris's eyes snapped open the moment she felt a cold chill run down her spine but it was too late, his body slacked suddenly which caused her grip to loosen just enough for him to get out of it and the mist to surround her once again.
"I'll be back, I'll be back... and you will see, I will end you, I will, I will..." his voice trailed off and the mist disappeared, everything suddenly stopped.
She was stuck in time.
A roar was caught in her throat in anger.
How could I be so careless?
She took a deep breath and waited. She knew if she moved, she'd be stuck forever and she wasn't too keen on that idea.

A few seconds passed which turned to minutes then to hours and finally she could move, everything around her went back to normal but not her.
She was maddened, she could feel her bones cracking, her body shaking.
She needed to shift into her beast, her body called out to her mates but she knew they were unreachable, that reminder brought her back to what she did.
She could still feel her sore throat bleeding. It wouldn't stop unless she mended it herself and she couldn't be bothered with that.
She deserved the pain.
She glanced back at her pack grounds and opened her link to everyone, trying to check if anyone was hurt, not feeling anything she nodded to herself and jumped as high as she could before plummeting down, the ground once again opened for her and she was right back in Hell.
She nodded to Cerberus, acknowledging his bow with one of her own before passing him and heading to Tartarus.
Standing in front of its gates she watched the two demons guarding it, Scylla and Sthenno, they were staring straight ahead, not one glance was sent in her direction but she didn't need their eyes upon her bloodied body. Taking a few more steps forward, she touched the silver gate and watched as it raised, allowing her to enter.
Tartarus has always been an interest of hers, all the things she ever expected revealed themselves with the opening of its gates, the stainless walls, their dull color, the cells lining up on both sides and most importantly, the screams that surrounded her.
Passing cell by cell, she trailed her finger softly on the black bars. Surprisingly enough, the damned souls stuck inside did not come out trying to grip her and pull her in their misery. A half smile adorned her face at the thought, he trained his animals well.

Reaching the cell she was searching for, she moved closer to it, trying to peak inside. She couldn't see any movement but she knew the Titan was there. A strong whistle sounded through Tartarus which woke the prisoners, a rattling sound followed and Eris glanced behind her and saw Alcatraz walking towards her with chains hanging off of his body.
"My Goddess." He muttered, a smile forming on his face.
Eris was truly confused, firstly, he shouldn't have been able to enter the Underworld and secondly, the two demons guarding Tartarus shouldn't have allowed him inside.
Seeing the question in her eyes, Alcatraz raised his hands and ran them nervously through his hair, his whole body seemed to shrink, as if he was trying to disappear.
"Well you see, Goddess... I might've followed you inside and I also might've convinced the demons at the gate that I might or might not be your animal..." he sighed while walking slowly towards her.
"I-, I just... I was curious to see where you disappeared, I was concerned because your link to the pack completely cut off for a few seconds which set off the pack to thinking that you were dead, which of course, I knew you couldn't be, because well, as you know, I would've been dead as well and-", he was cut off by Eris placing her hand on his mouth.
His eyes widened and he nodded before licking her hand, which caused her to look at him skeptical.
She turned her head to the cell surrounded by golden bars that seemed to have been scratched millions of times again and again. Glancing inside she could see a figure chained like none other, thick reddish metal wrapped around her body in a tight grip, a head hanging bowed, constricted by a helmet like object, feet tied together with the same red metal but also a golden string which seemed to wrap around its whole being.
"Interesting." The voice of Alcatraz broke the silence and Eris ignored him.
She moved closer, touching the bars while thinking of the fact that the creature inside looked really familiar... almost as if...
Eris stood back in shock, her face shadowed by a look of curiosity.
The figure inside the cell raised her head a little and glanced at Eris only for a look of horror to overcome her face.
A muffled sound was heard once... twice, Alcatraz took a step forward.
"Speak up." He demanded, his earlier demeanor changing from one of a fool to the one of a soldier which Eris has created along his life.
"Why are you here?" The muffled voice asked, it wasn't one of a female, it was distorted, almost as if it hadn't spoken in centuries and those were its first words, which was most likely the case.
Eris went back and gripped the golden bars, pulling them apart she created an entrance barely big enough to fit her form but that didn't matter.
She was on a mission, she needed to confirm that the creature inside was who she thought it was.
"Stop!" The muffled voice exclaimed in anguish.
Eris didn't listen. She stomped forwards, the voice sounded clearer now that she was in the cell.
Her fists curled and two more steps confirmed her thoughts.
It indeed was Rhea.
A chuckle escaped her.
Pure bliss.
