Eris stared blankly at Ezra.

She knew who Alcatraz was to him yet she hid it. Alcatraz begged her not to tell Ezra because he was ashamed of his actions and she agreed, she kept his secret for centuries but what she did now, was a mistake.

She shouldn't have allowed Ezra to touch him, even in his unconscious state.

Ezra's eyes filled with hatred as they snapped to hers.

"As my beloved- , no, as my friend, why- how could you hide this from me? You knew, you knew very fucking well, Eris, what he meant to me. How I searched for him, how I suffered after losing him. You fucking knew." He said in disbelief.

Hades could do nothing but stand back and watch the tragedy unfold, his own connection to Ezra thrummed with disgust.

Ezra stood up and walked over to Eris, towering over her as he yelled.

"How could you do this to me? I trusted you, I fucking love you, yet you destroyed me. You always have. From the moment you stared at me with those beautiful eyes and realized we were soulmates, you rejected me, you acted as if we were nothing and I accepted it, I waited and I would've waited for you, I wouldn't have ever taken another, I would've walked this planet alone for the rest of eternity."

He shook his head and took a step back from her, he watched as her dull eyes stared right back at his, she stood unbothered, not an ounce of guilt.

His eyes welled up again, yet this time for a whole different reason.

"You... you have nothing to say? No remorse? YOU MARKED HADES THE FIRST TIME YOU MET HIM!" His voice went up a notch while she stared at him.

"I- , everything-, this is too much, way too much, even for me." Tears started rolling down his face, he took a few staggering steps backwards and headed towards the exit of the prison.

Stopping in his tracks, he turned once again, and with one last fleeting glance at Eris, he wept.

"Goodbye."

Eris did nothing as she merely stood back and watched him leave, she didn't even try to go after him, she didn't lift a finger and Hades was disappointed.

"You should've said something. You should've tried to explain, to him, to me, you owe us one too many answers, you should've went after him yet you stood here. Why?" He asked as he trailed a finger down her throat, touching her scar gently, her actions deeply disturbed him.

Her empty eyes didn't move, they were still on the exit of the prison.

With a heavy sigh, Hades disappeared as well, leaving Eris with an unconscious Alcatraz.

If she won't go after him, I will. He though.

Eris went to Alcatraz and bent down to his level, lifting him up, she disappeared from the prison and appeared in her office, moving to the sofa she gently put him down and arranged a pillow under his head before walking over to her desk and sitting down.

She stared at the black granite, thinking about everything.

Her hands moved to her scar and she extended her claws, trailing them along the edges of the damned scar, her anger rose.

She should've done something, should've said something.

Should've, would've, could've...

She should've marked him sooner, she would've explained her fears and she could've told them all her secrets.

She didn't mark him, she never told him the reason, she didn't trust them with her fears and she couldn't tell them her secrets.

She was incapable of expressing her feelings, her needs, her wants.

She's losing them.

No.

Her hands trembled, her claws pierced her scar and she pushed them deeper, she dragged them along the length of the damned thing and then some more, she didn't cry out in pain, she embraced it, she deserved it.

A shiver of disgust ran through her, useless.

Blood started trickling on the beautiful granite and she hated it, she hated the way those two colors matched perfectly, how they blended into each other, when she felt the blood gushing out of her throat, she stood up.

More.

She deserved more, more pain, more scars.

She could hear another battle starting, the loud wail of the sirens in her pack was scratching her ears.

"Alpha, they're back and this time there are many more creatures than before." She could hear the desperate voice of her Beta.

She stood up and jumped straight through the window, mid air she could see the creatures huddled up, getting over the gates.

A deafening roar escaped her as she ran through the battle field, tearing through the creatures like a knife through butter, no hesitation, no mistake.

She could see someone far away, watching the battle take place.

He was there.

Her eyes turned obsidian.

Ignoring the rest of the creatures, she ran directly out of her borders and towards the man she wished was dead, the man causing all the turmoil.

Her pack didn't need to wait for her command, the battle started and she could see out of the corner of her eyes that her warriors were killing the creatures fast, she wasn't worried about them, no.

She was much more aggravated by his presence.

She noticed when his eyes snapped to hers, he knows.

A quick jump landed her right next to him on the branch and before she could react, he grabbed her and jumped high through the air, gripping her tightly.

"What a pleasure it has been, Eris." She tried reaching out to rip his throat yet he moved faster, he let go of her and she started falling, her eyes blazing with the deepest fires of hell as she though of all the things he deserved.

The creatures, the threats, the war... and for what? She thought as her feet connected to the ground, creating a earthquake.

She fell once from higher up and she would do it a thousand times over if only to hurt him.

What's so special about me?

A booming laughter followed her thoughts and the anger spiked through her veins, reaching new limits even she wasn't aware of.

"A daughter of the moon yet a child of the sun, a creation meant to rule over this dimension... " He laughed while letting go and falling towards her only to stop fat enough that she wouldn't be able to touch him.

"Ah, no. Let me rephrase, dear Eris. Over all dimensions." He extended his arms and moved his palms to face upwards.

She could feel the blood leaking out of her scar, too much.

"Fate really though he would be able to break rule, to mislead creations, he really though he'd be able to dethrone ." A thick, dark mist started swirling in his palms, he raised them above his head and continued.

"I will never fail again. You, you... will never rule, your life should've ended long ago, I tried so many times to get rid of you, killing your mother, torturing your father..." The mist in his hands thickened and started surrounding them.

Eris jumped unexpectedly latching onto his legs.

She wouldn't let him escape, no.

This was his end and her start.

He thought he won, but he played right into her games, a deranged smile overtook her face, the blood still gushing out of her throat forgotten, she had more important thing to deal with.

"Ah, no, no.. you can't do that now can you? I put you in the fucking centre, I told him to torture you but he didn't listen.. no, no... he didn't. He took it upon himself to experiment on you, unknowingly making you stronger." He chuckled as the mist flew out of his palms and wrapped around her throat, a shiver ran through him at its taste.

"My, my, your blood, sweet, so so sweet, where was I? Ah!" He exclaimed as his mist lifted her.

"Ah, yes, yes... the experiments, I'm sadly, still not quite sure what they transformed you into... you have the claws of a wolf yet the speed of a vampire... you can get to places by thinking of them yet you're not a witch... your demeanor would suggest a dragon but that's impossible."

Eris knew he wouldn't be able to realize what she was, a hybrid of sorts he'd think, but that couldn't be any further from the truth.

Allowing her breaths to come out calmly while being strangled by him, she glanced into his eyes, flashing her white ones.

"Wh-," he couldn't continue his sentence because one second his mist strangled her and the other, he was being thrown to the ground by it. Landing with a thud, he shouted in pain.

"How, how... that shouldn't be possible, had Faith mangled with more than I thought he did? What are you, Eris?" He asked as she lowered herself next to him gracefully.

Your worst nightmare and Fate's grandest dream.
