Jay's pov: Hanging from the ceiling all sound asleep. With nothing but the sound of liquid dripping echoing in the deep cave. The sun shining brightly outside but still safe from it's sheer bright rays that shine. All of our hair dangling below as our legs cling and entertwind around the pole in the ceiling.
David senses somebody in the cave and opens his eyes scanning the small room were in. The human smell goes away so David goes back to sleep.
The next night we all wake from our deep slumbers not knowing David sensed someone while we slept. "We need to be careful and keep a look out." David speaks up with anxiety creeping throughout his body. "Why? What's going on?" Dwayne raises his eyebrow plopping down on the beaten and battered couch. "This morning I smelt a human lingering in the cave, but i didn't smell them for long before they left." He explains scanning the cave to see if anything was monkeyed with.
"A human? Maybe it was some explorers wanting to check out the place. But your right we still need to keep a look out." Dwayne agreed. I plopped down in Dwayne's lap feeling his cold frame against my back. "Explorers?" I turn to him. "Yea a couple of people got curious and came in here to look around. Apprently the danger keep out sign don't worry them." He chuckled. "Well neither did it to you guys either." I laughed looking into Dwayne's chocolate eyes.
"Well were vampires were not worried about much when your immortal." He smiles a toothy smile. "Either way they might be here to come after us." David lights a cigarette. I stand up and walk over to the giant bookshelf. Running my hands across the dusted spines of them. "Have you read all of these?" I ask Dwayne. He nods looking at me. "I've read them all twice." "I would like to read some." I scan my eyes over the titles of the books. "Go ahead there's some pretty good ones." He smiles. Marko stood next to me looking at the books with me.

All of a sudden we heard faint footsteps rush up to us. "Die you bloodsuckers!!" A boy with tan skin and brown hair said aiming a wooden arrow at me. I turn around and gasp as he let's the arrow shoot at me. Marko swings around eyes wide and steps in front of me with the arrow pericing his chest. His blue eyes widen and he slowly looks down and sees the arrow deep into his chest with blood seeping out. He slowly falls to the ground gasping.
"Marko!!" I lean down next to him eagerly pulling him into my lap. The rest of the boys growl leaping up. Micheal and his younger brother Sam stand behind the two young tan kids. "What are you doing Michael?" David grunts eyeballing Michael. "You tried to turn me into a monster like you!" Michael huffs. "You already are one!" David steps forward. "Back back you monster! Us frog Brothers will kill you all!" One of the frog Brothers leaps forwards waving a wooden stake toward David.
"Really these idiots?" Paul growls. "You know them?" I questioned continuing to hold Marko. "Yea it's Alan and Edgar frog. They claim to be vampire hunters but never killed a vampire yet." Paul snickers circling them.
"Yet? You seen what we did to your pal!" Alan shouts pointing to Marko. His blood seeps into one big Puddle on the floor. Getting paler and paler barely clinging to life. "Stay with me Marko!" I shout biting into my wrist letting my blood pour into his mouth. "Drink!" I urge him. His lips latch onto my wrist pulling more blood to drink. He needs human blood but my vampire blood will help him cling to life a little bit longer until we can feed him human blood. "Why did you have to save me! It should of been me!" I shout with teary eyes as he continued to drink.

His blue eyes weakly look up at me as he drank from me. "Your dead meat bud!" Paul shouts swinging towards Edgar knocking the stake out of his hand. Edgar screams echo off of the cave. I'm surprised he's a vampire hunter as much of a wimp he is. "Edgar!" Alan yells when David sneaks up on him wrapping his arm around his shoulder squeezing him against his chest. David's yellow eyes stare at Marko angerly. "Your done for now after what you did!"
Dwayne pins Edgar down smiling proudly. Paul standing over him. "Feed them to Marko!" David says grabbing Alan's shirt collar dragging him to Marko throwing him on the floor. Alan squirms trying to run away until I grab a fistful of his hair and holding his neck to Marko's sharp razor teeth. Marko pierced his neck lapping up the blood that flows out of it. Moaning as the tasty crimson colored blood touches his taste buds. "Alan no!" Edgar shouts with fear in his eyes.
Marko drinks and drinks slowly draining Alan dry. He falls limp against Marko before he pushes him off of him. He sits up quick yanking the arrow out his wounded chest. His vampire form comes out with his chest heaving up and down rapidly. He's angry now. He strides over to Edgar, his boots thudding on the ground. Fear grows in Edgar's eyes after he seen what Marko did to his brother. Eyes flicking over to his lifeless brother. "No! Please!" He shouts. Sam hides behind Michael scared of the monsters he was told about.
Michael is frozen still knowing he can't beat none of the viscous vampires. But yet he don't want to stand and watch two teens get killed. He Don't want to jump in and risk his young brother to it all. He is unsure what to do. Marko growls hovering over Edgar with blood smeared all over his face from his previous kill. "Have at him. He's all yours." Dwyane takes his foot off of Edgar's chest. Rage swirling in Marko, he's ready to put an end to this twirp. He bends down and chomps into Edgar's neck making him scream loud. Draining him next. Only making him stronger and the wound in his chest heals.
The smell of blood is making Michael's hunger rip up his stomach. Michael tries to hold back but he's held back for so long he can't anymore. He leaps forward and rips into Edgar's neck on the other side. Marko unlatches his teeth from Edgar's neck letting Michael drink. "You idiot now your going to be a full!!" Sam shouts eyeing all of us. David smirks proudly. The plan is done, Michael is now a full. He let's go of Edgar's neck and growls staring up at us. Realization sets in of what he has done. A monster is what is he now.

Tower of Babel: Speedrunner
Launch day. That was what they called it. The day when over four million people vanished in an instant from the island of Manhattan. The day earthquakes ravaged the east coast. The day a one hundred and one kilometer tall tower rose from the wreckage of the now empty city. The day every screen, newspaper, and smart phone displayed a single message from an unknown source: The Great Emperor has issued his challenge. From the ruins of the Old World rise the Tower. Its doors will soon open, and the great game will begin. A hundred floors and a hundred challenges await the worthy. And to the victor? A Wish of Unlimited Power. Cayden Caros yearned to play that game. His only problem? The Terms and Conditions. A strict set of rules that, among other things, prevented anyone under the age of sixteen from entering the tower. Forced to wait for over two years, Cayden did the only thing he could do to pass the time. He researched, he practiced and he prepared. It would take a lot to catch up to players with such an enormous head start. Lucky for him, he was a special type of gamer. A SpeedRunner So.... It has been a hot minute. I don't like talking about my personal life, but suffice to say I had some fairly bad times for the last couple of years and have only just recently pulled myself back to good health, physically and mentally. I have a very supportive partner, and am put together enough that I want to get back to doing what I love. Writing nerd fiction that I am too embarassed to try to explain when people inevitably ask what my books are about. Still beats when I used to write erotica. Story updates for book 3 should be on a daily schedule, baring unforseen circumstances. The majority of chapters from books one and two have been pulled down to keep with amazon's KU rules. Book one is found here. Book two is found here. If you like the story, please comment or favorite. Each comment goes a long way towards pushing visibility for the story, which means more people get to see it and I feel slightly more validated as a writer. I have a discord now where you can ask me things and I can be like 'no. no. I'm not answering that. no."
