(Hey guys sorry I know its been awhile since I updated. I just started a new job and have been working like crazy. Retail can be hard. Hope you guys enjoy! Feel free to list your opinions in the comments or vote!)
Jay's pov:
I let out my breath seeing it in the chilly wind. The sound of heavy breaths and chuckles surround me. "Think that went good?" I turn to David looking at him. A smirk forms on his face proudly. His icy blue eyes flick over to meet mine. "It went better then expected." "Him running away was better then you expected? Wasn't the plan to show him what we were and drive his hunger so he would feed and turn into a full?" Paul steps forward wiping blood off of his lips.
"Yea that was what we wanted to happen but I know he'll be back. Long as we have Star he'll be back." David sighs pulling out a cigarette sparking it up. The strong nicotine smell circles us as he puffs on it. "Max will be pissed that it didn't work the way he wanted it too." Dwyane shakes his head. David's head flicks to Dwayne. "Well he can be pissed then. We did what he asked." "Well let's go have to fun now." Paul kicks up a rock laughing.
David shakes his head chuckling at his excitement filled blonde brother, ready to tire out his constant burning energy fueling up inside him. "Alright let's go then." David leads us to the motorbikes. David didn't really care much for actually riding rides on the boardwalk or checking out the shops. He just wanted to cause havoc. Scaring little kids and people. Climbing on the rides and getting kicked off by the security guard. But since they met me and my love for riding rides even tho I rode them millions of times, and the shops That I like to pop in and look around, sometimes collection random stuff as well. Eating all kinds of food at the food stalls, David wanted to let me enjoy myself so now he too rides rides and actually enjoys the boardwalk.

I rode with Paul. His pouty face when I don't ride with him makes me feel bad. "Just don't kill me please." I giggled. He swung his leg over the motorcycle and smiled proudly. "You know I tone done my craziness when it comes to you." He revs up his bike bouncing up and down waiting for his brothers to start there's.
Once they started Paul was the first to fly off. Kicking up the sand behind his back wheel. "Eep!!" I clutch my arms around him tighter. The ride was short since the boardwalk was close. Parking there bikes where there not supposed to like every day. The security guards used to get on them about parking there bikes on the actual board walk, but they ignored him so much that he doesn't feel like arguing with them so he let's it happen now. "Okay where to first?" Paul smiles wide looking around eager to do something fun.
"Ferris wheel!" I point up at the colorful wheel spinning in the sky. "And I want all of us to go." I watch there eyes follow my finger. "Hell no I'm not getting crammed with all of you. How about just me and Jay go." David grunts. "David... now come on don't be a party pooper." I cross my arms smirking at him. Paul bust out laughing showing a toothy grin. "Yea David what a party pooper." David's icy blue eyes stare into my green ones for a moment before speaking. "Fine but no funny business!" We all cheer and go wait in the long line. The line was mostly filled with teenagers on a date trying to be romantic and kiss at the top.
We finally get to the front of the line and the workers eyeball us knowing we're the usual trouble makers. After all of us pile in the ferris wheel turns to let more people on. I sat in the middle of Paul and Marko while David and Dwayne sat on the other side. "I don't get this ride anyway. All it does is spin slowly a couple of times. If its going to be a ride the least it can do is spin fast." David peers down over the edge as we get higher and higher. Paul giggles and drums his hands on his lap in excitement.

David peers down and a wicked smirk appears on his face. "Oh no what's with the smirk?" I giggle eyeing him. He leaps off the edge and lands on the top roof of the carts below us. "David your going to get us kicked out." I yell in a hushed tone so only he and the boys can hear. He waves wiggling his fingers at me smiling. "They don't even know I'm on there roof!" He peeks down at them and almost let's out a loud laugh before slapping his hand over his mouth. "There fucking in here!" He looks up at us. "Gnarly dude." Paul peeks down laughing.
"We can be doing the same." Marko trails his fingers across my thigh. "No thanks were in public." I giggle swatting his hand away. "Can't let a man try." He shrugs his shoulders peeking down over the edge. Dwayne looks at me smirking. Even though David didn't want to ride this with all of us I can tell he's enjoying himself. Even if it's from causing havoc. The ride slows down and David climbs back up to our cart chuckling. "That was a sight to see." Once it completely stops we off shuffle off. We rode a couple or more rides and Marko got more cotton candy. That's a must for him.
The night ended with us going back to the cave to go to sleep before sunrise came up.

Entangled Fates Book 1 - Quantum Beginnings
“By far, the greatest danger of Artificial Intelligence is that people conclude too early that they understand it.” —Eliezer Yudkowsky Hey all, we're moving over to book 2. This content is in a state of transition. The book is now availble on Amazon (includes extra chapters): https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07W1534R8 Artificial intelligence was nearly mankind’s last invention. AI took off like a rocket, then when it racked up an impressive death toll, it crashed before it could blossom and took most high-tech industries with it. Resistance and fears became deep-set. Two decades after the infamous Rev. 4.6 incidents, humanity hasn’t quit dreaming of the wealth and power that could be at their fingertips. A new generation of mega-corporations rose from the ashes. When one melds a quantum computer to a barely functional mental patient as a PR move, there are those who seek to profit, those who want to destroy it, and Alex. Alex Sage is a typical college student trying to keep up his grades and maybe find a meaningful connection with the fairer sex. Then, an automated semi crashes into his home, killing his family and turning his head into a pin cushion in the process. Alex awakens to find most of his memories gone and an illegal AI hidden in his brain implant. Now the pet project of a tech billionaire and heavily in debt, Alex struggles to stay valuable enough to be kept online. Still grappling with the repercussions of his injuries, and threats from a dangerous anti-augmentation political movement, there are no easy answers and threats loom around every corner. Alex must use whatever resources he can to escape from under the thumb of a ruthless corporation, while keeping those he comes to love safe. Chapters will stay up on RRL until Aug 10. It'll go up on Kindle Unlimited after that. How do you get those extra chapters I didn't have planned for RR? If you want them, they'll be in the published book. Book 2 will still make sense without them - I made sure of that. But... isn't $3 a lot for extra chapters? Think of it as tipping me for a good job and you'd also be getting my eternal thanks. If you enjoyed it so much that the idea of missing out a few chapters haunts you, I did my job as an author and made an engaging story. What's in those extra chapters? Resolving a few issues, set up for the cybernetic revolution, a rather intense sex scene with a new partner, revelations of who's really pulling strings, and a bit of set up for book 2. Complaints that people missed out on it when it was published here won't help (sorry!). I posted this for the folks who helped me shape the book, which is you all! (Again, yay!) But... Why! Why not keep it all on RR forever? My editor likes being paid for one. For two, I'd like the ability to get broader readership. If I break even on editor costs, I'll be incredibly happy. What about book 2? Drafts for Book 2 will go up around Sept 10. My draft of Book 2 is done, and it will be handed to the editor once Book 1 is published. Feedback has been even more positive. Beta readers devoured it and wanted more. I'll add a link to Book 2 once it's up on RR. I'm more or less, using you all for Beta Readers, so you get it before it's "canon" and edited. I invite active and meaningful feedback during this process. In return, you get early access to chapters. That does mean that the book content or plot might be adjusted before it gets published as I refine it. Sex Y/N? Yes. I heard the feedback, 90% wanted it explicit. You all will get the "full" experience. Will I dump all of book 2 here? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. At a minimum, it'll be up to the 75% mark as we collect feedback, much like what I did with book 1. It really depends on how good the feedback is and how nice people are. Lots of support + meaningful feedback to make it better = higher likelihood you get all the book. Will be it up here indefinitely? No, it'll probably go up on KU at some point, but I'll make sure there's enough time for a large readership to grab it here. Then we move to book 3 which already is around 60K words already. What about other adventures in the same universe/characters? Yep. Absolutely. Nothing ready to share yet though. I plan to keep those side chapters and more slice of life stories as RR exclusive. Since I'm carving this off in book-sized segments, I'll have to figure out where those disconnected story arcs belong. I'm open to suggestions.

Gram Bloodfeast: Retired Warlock
Gram Bloodfeast was once one of the most powerful warlocks of his era. There was a time when he commanded armies of the undead, conquering anyone who he dared lay a path against. There was a time when whole rooms of people would go silent with insane, palpable fear at the mere mention of his name. There was a time when he was enemy number one, whole legions of skilled combatants storming his stronghold of ice and stone to take his head. There was a time when he decided, "I think I'm done." Gram Bloodfeast, is now retired, living in a cozy 2 bedroom suburban house. (Credit for the cover art goes to Phasmonyc) [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
