"Thudius." At the mention of this word something could finally be seen in Trevor's David's and Shone's eyes although it lasted a milisecond, to Alex whose brain had undergone mutation and was now faster saw it although he couldn't make which emotion that was.
"Pardon?" Trevor asked raising one brow up.
"It's nothing. I don't know why I said that." Alex shrugged it off.
Although the topic had now changed, these three didn't believe Alex was the first as simple as he looked.
They chatted for a while before a classical band started playing music indicating the occasion had started.
Alex walked back to his seat at the reserved table which wasn't as empty as it was before.
"Yo Alex, wassap." Thomas greeted when he saw Alex take his seat.
"Nothing bro." he smiled back.
As Alex surveyed his surrounding, he caught sight of Calvin who sat only a table away from him.
He couldn't help but laugh at the scene before him.
It was rather weird to see him in a suit.
He looked like he had just been smothered and dresses by his mom.
The lively murmurs filled the surrounding as the guests had a chat with each other slowly died down.
Alex, who browses through his bracelet, looked up to see whether the birthday girls had arrived.
Shifting his gaze to the double stair cases, he didn't see anyone.
"Is that...?"
"Doctor Hudson?"
"Yes he is...." shock filled the atmosphere when they noticed him.
Hearing this from a near by table, turned to look at the entrance.
And indeed it was Dr. Hudson the famed scientist.
Although Alex knew that Abigail's family had connections with countless big shots, he didn't expect Hudson to be one of them.
But still it wasn't entirely impossible.
Abigail's dad received him and led him to reserved chair at his table along with his friends that he had invited.
"Ahhh.... So glad you could make it. My daughter, Abigail will be delighted to see you." Abigail's mom smiled.
After a minute of chatting with each other, the two girls walked down the stairs.
In beautiful matching red dresses.
They looked like red moon goddess as one came down the stair case on the right and the other on the left unison.
The party ended latter that night at 12 p.m.
With everyone having a blast, they left the place happily.
With most of Abigail and Julie's classmates envious at how they lives a rich and perfect life.

Alex took of his coat and placed it on his bed.
Sitting down, he brushed his hands over his hear backwards as he yawned.
*Chirp! Chirp! *
He displayed the notification.
Message from Abigail: Thank you for the necklaces. Julie and I like them a lot. Good night.
He replied back with a "your welcome" text and "goodnight" before drifting off to sleep.
In Pex Corp, Hudson stood at by a glass wall on seeing what was going on on the other side.
Wearing shades protective glasses to protect his eyes from the ever shifting bright light.
"Activate it now."
"Alright sir." said one of the scientists operating a portal gate.
And with that, a beam of light shot from a laser and landed in the empty space in the middle of the ring portal gate forming a small blue portal that slowly spread out turning the whole ring into a portal.
But then, the device started sparking indicating it was unstable and the next moment, it shut down.
"You have two chances left." Hudson said coldly before turning to leave when he saw the attempt was a failure.
The sun's rays fell on Alex's face through the window.
He subconsciously raising his hand over his face.
Yawning, he got out of his bed and stretched.
He took a bath and changed into a new set of clothes before going downstairs for breakfast.
Later he went to church for it was Sunday.
During the church sumon he noticed the mysterious dark wierd girl he bumped into at school the previous week.
"Hey wait up...." Alex tried to squeeze himself through the crowd that flooded the exit.
But the girl was quite a distance away from him.
By the time he reached outside, she was already far away from where he was.
Giving up, heade his way back home.
After walking for some distance alone, he felt as if someone was watching him.
Turning around, he saw no one.
He surveyed his surrounding bit he couldn't find anyone.
He shrugged off the feeling and continued to walk.
And there it was again, that same feeling.
This time, he wouldn't take it for granted.
Looking up at the trees above him, he saw something but only for a second.
By the time he looked back infront of him, there stood a black glitchy shadow a distance away from him looking straight into his eyes.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Alex asked as he felt fear creep up his spine.

No answer!
"I said. Who are you?"
Afuer asking for the second time, the shadow finally moved.
And in the next moment, it disappeared and appeared nearer crossing the distance between them.
"Why does this have to happen to me?" Alex gritted his teeth slightly creeped those actions.
The shadow tilted it's head to one end, looking at Alex curiously.
And then did that disappear and reappear thing again.
Over and over again until it was only 2 centimeters away from Alex.
All Alex saw was the thing cross the distance between them and in the next he stared right into those red eyes.
The aura he senses from this being was so extreme that he found it hard to move.
Clutching the side of his trousers, he closed his eyes in fear.
"Please go away." he inwardly prayed.
He opened his eyes slowly picking to see if it was still there.
Well, sure enough his prayers were answered.
He pondered on what that thing must have been.
Just thinking of those red eyes, he got goosebumps.
"Should I tell uncle Ralph?"
"Yes... What if it targets my family?"
"No... If I do. Uncle Ralph will stop me from..."
"Agghh..."
He had an inward debate with himself. He could never forget that thing's cold eyes.
Alex proceeded home and had his lunch beforw leaving for the hq. Having spent some time there playing whichever games he could download until it was left.
He prompted to leave.
"Alright boy. Good night." Ralph said bidding him farewell.
But just as Alex turned to leave, he recalled something.
"By the way, I've been meaning to ask you a this...."
"Hmmmmm..... What?" Ralph said as he turned his chair around and shifted his gaze from the computer screen to Alex.
"I get these weird dreams."
"Haha..dreams are supposed to be weird." Ralph laughed, "It's all because your brain picks up information relating to the day or something you think about a lot or even scared of and portrays it in that form. Making them unrelated items link together. That why they are weird."
"Well...."Alec raised his brow," Good explanation. But that's not what am talking about. "
" What do you mean? "a little curious, Ralph asked.
"They are not my dreams. And I have never seen any of the things I see in my dreams..." Alex paused, "Well except the Puss in boots. But that's not the case."
"Hmmm.... interesting" standing up, Ralph walled to Alex;."Can I see your bracelet?"
Without hesitation, Alex handed over the bracelet.
"Good now I've confiscated it. Go back home." Ralph said as he walked back to his seat.
"What the! Thats not fair." Alex puffed angrily as he walked to Ralph who now focused on the set of five screens.
"Haha.... Just kidding. Look here." Ralph displayed a line graph on the screen.
"What's that..."
"These are your brain readings as of recent. See there..." Ralph pointed at a specific spot on the graph, "Your brain is less active during day. And when it's night... It spikes up." shifting his finger to an elevated point on the graph, said Ralph.
"So....?"
"So.... When you're asleep, you brain is at its pick. No restrictions what so ever. Causing you to hack into others dreams without you knowing it. Even those at a distance. Am surprised.
And on top of it all, you can also hack into their minds enabling you to see what your seeing. "Ralph picked up his coffee mug and sipped on some coffee," And in order to become more powerful, you need to master this ability to perfection. Cause as of now there are a many that you can't contend with.
The gap between you and them is massive. That's why the interlectual category can be a little useless and yet powerful.
One of the hardest mutations to master.
But unfortunately, your the first case to undergo this so I don't know of a way to help achieve that. " Ralph said with disdain.
"So that's why you didn't want me join in the first place?" Alex came to a realisation.
"Yes....I was afraid that your category would only put you on danger." Ralph said not intending to hold anything back,."But now that I see you are capable of this feat. I'm relieved. But you will have to find away out."
"Hmmm..... Thanks. I'll be headed home now. Have a goodnight."
Right after reaching home, he had his dinner before heading to his room to try outwhatevee he found out. But only exhausted himself with no progress.
*Chirp*

Re:Hammer
Your average Reborn Game System story, similar to The Gamer and Solo Leveling. Written for fun rather than novilization like the others, so it is smaller and less intense. It is set in an AU Warhammer (based on a slightly modified version of Warhammer Fantasy's End Times. (Modified because the real setting was a catastrophe. There will be no exploding moons or beating the God Of Indulgence because they overindulged, and no Slaans fucking off to space. People shall use their brains and not just "lol cuz I can" bs like Todbringer thinking the end of the fucking world was the best time to go persue you interracial Yaoi rivalry with a Beastlord). So you might notice names and events but don't expect it all to go the same way. And the Main Character is not the only Player in this game~ Sequel found here. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/26444/rehammer-the-hammering
