Edward pulled up on the school parking lot with his hand not leaving Aquila's. "Did you enjoy this weekend?" he asked her, referring to the little picnic he set up for them after the incident with Victoria.
Aquila nodded happily. "It was great. I'm just worried about Delphi and Teddy. It feels like yesterday I was carrying them for the first time. Now they developed their metamorphmagus abilities." she said remembering how the two little devils joined them at the final half of their romantic date in the meadow.
Delphi saw a butterfly that landed on her nose. As she sneezed, her black hair turned blonde. The scene made Teddy laugh and copy Delphi. They turned their hairs into different colors. Aquila and Edward were shocked but laughed at the end.
"Well, our little angels are quite powerful like their mother." Edward smiled then kissed her temples making Aquila giggle and kissed his cheek. All of a sudden, Edward stiffened and looked out of the window.
"What's wrong?" Aquila asked.
"If i ask you to stay on the car, would you?" the vampire asked. Aquila narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously as he got out. "Of course not." he muttered after seeing Aquila got out after him as they walked towards school.
Aquila saw a familiar figure leaning against a motorcycle. Jacob Black. He walked towards them.
"Hey." Aquila greeted.
"Charlie said you went on a date with Edward." Jake told Aquila.
"Yeah. I stayed at the Cullens after the date. Why?" Aquila asked.
"He's checking to see if you're still human." Edward told Aquila causing the shifter to glare at him.
"Look, I'm here to warn you. If your kind comes on our land again..." Jake growled but Aquila cut him off.
"Wait, what?" She asked, highly confused. She was too focused on tailing the red haired vampire until she jumped on the cliff where Aquila lost her, to notice the conflict between the Cullens and the wolves.
Jacob looked at Aquila before looking back at Edward. "You didn't tell her?" he asked Edward.
"Just leave it alone, Jacob." Edward told him.
Aquila turned to Edward and asked, "Tell me what?"
"Emmett and Paul had a misunderstanding. It's nothing to worry about." Edward explained.
Everyone had a silent agreement not to tell Aquila about the hostile encounter. God knows Aquila wouldn't hesitate to kick them to the curb for being unreasonably hostile towards her family. But Jacob just couldn't keep his mouth shut.
"Listen to you. Did you lie to keep her out of the loop too?" Jacob asked Edward , who stepped up to him.
"You should just leave. Now." Edward told him angrily.
"She has the right to know. She is the one the red head wants."
"Victoria?" Aquila asked Jacob. "I was there. The didn't keep me out of the loop."

"Emmett, Draco, Ron and Harry had a hostile encounter with Paul, Embry and Quill. Emmett almost went over the border when he was reaching out to Victoria and Paul stopped him." Edward said, coming clean to his mate.
"And you didn't tell me? While I was tailing Victoria, my brothers were almost mauled by wolves. I should have been told earlier." Aquila chastised Edward then turned to Jacob. "And you. You should tell your pack to tone the pride down and try to use their single brain cell and identify who the real enemy is."
"We do not answer to a leech lover like you." Jacob spat.
"This leech lover is also a bloody witch. I advise you to lower your pride and show some respect before my temper gets the best of me." Aquila warned him.
Her voice made Jacob bow his head and look away. "The pack wants to see you."
Aquila sighted and nods. "Fine."
She was about to walk towards Jacob when Edward called her. "My star..."
"I'll be fine, love. Plus, I gotta drop by Uncle Billy." Aquila's smile made Edward relent. Jacob grinned as Aquila sat behind him and wore the helmet he gave. "Hey! Lose the grin, Jake. We're going for a ride."
As they arrived outside Emily's house, she was greeted by Quill, Embry, Jared and Paul. The four wolves even mocked Jacob's thoughts about how he wished Aquila would call him and how he still wanted to be friends with Aquila after he inadvertently took Bella's side.
Aquila laughed at their silliness, which also made them laugh. Then, a girl came out of the house. She was glaring at Aquila.
"Is she Harry Clearwater's daughter? Leah right?" Aquila asked the boys, which they nodded.
"If you're here to torture Jacob some more, feel free to leave." Leah spat then left.
"What's her problem? Does she normally wake up and chose violence?" Aquila asked with a raised brow.
The boys laughed at her and was only interrupted when Emily called for them. "Aquila! I was wondering when you'd come."
"Same here, Em. Your muffin recipe was divine." Aquila beamed as Sam came over.
"Sam, we good?" Jacob asked.
"We're good. She won't be getting through our line soon." Sam answered which made the others cheer before running into the woods.
Aquila had never been to Emily's house. She never got close with the pack. But she would constantly visit her uncle Billy. She met Sam and Emily a couple of times. Sam was civil but Emily was very welcoming. They'd talk about Teddy and Delphi a lot.
Aquila met the pack last summer. Harry begged her to go to the beach and they kind of made friends with the pack after pushing past the tension brought by Aquila's relationship with the Cullens. Aquila doesn't like them that much though, except for Emily. They remind her of prejudice prats she constantly dealt with when she was at Hogwarts.

Jacob then explained to Aquila why Leah seems to be grumpy. It was because of Sam and Emily. He explained how Sam and Leah were a couple but the Sam imprinted on Emily. He also explained how imprinting works through his point of view.
Aquila was well aware of what an imprinting is. It was in her care for magical creatures lesson. But it was good to hear about it from people who actually experienced it.
Then their topic went to Billy. Jacob took Aquila to see Billy and they were happy to meet again. They chatted for hours until Jacob offered to walk with Aquila.
"So you're still you." Aquila began.
"And you're still you." Jacob added.
"Yeah. Until we decide when I should turn." Aquila admitted. There is no point in keeping it from him. It would also be a good thing so that Jacob could let Sam know.
"You'll turn?" Jacob asked, strongly appalled.
"It has to happen. You know that." Aquila said firmly.
"No I don't! And I don't understand why! You have barely lived!" Jacob spat at Aquila angrily. "For a second, just a second I thought... But he's got his hooks on you so deep. I mean with him playing daddy to your bastards. Better you really be dead than be one of them."
Aquila didn't hesitate to punch him right in the face. Although she could feel how hard and thick Jacob's face seem to become because of his shifter genes, Aquila felt no pain. She had been hit by bludgers for one too many times, even slapped one that went on her way with bare hands once, and it had made her fist a little firmer and stronger than average.
"I can take the hurt of your words towards me and let it go easily, Jacob. But don't you ever dare call my godson and goddaughter bastards. Or I might not hold myself back and throw a killing curse on you." Aquila said, walking away from him.
Jacob tried to apologize but one glare from her shutted him up. The wolf shifter couldn't do anything but shut his mouth and drive Aquila back home.
When they arrived in front of Charlie's house, Edward was already waiting for Aquila outside. He smiled seeing Aquila get out of Jacob's motorcycle. But his face morphed in anger after seeing Jacob's crestfallen face. He saw what happened in his thoughts and what Jacob said to Aquila about Teddy and Delphi. He marched towards him, ready to punch the shifter when Aquila stopped him.
"If you ever say anything about our children, I will not hesitate to kill you." Edward growled at him.
His words were harsh but it warmed Aquila's heart. Our children.
"You're not giving her a choice! She deserves to live a normal life. Not a life as a vampire. Or a life where two children with dead parents were dumped into her care." Jacob spat.
Edward was murderous and so was Aquila. But for Billy's sake, she will remain calm in this situation and make sure Jacob gets to go home alive.
"That's it, Jacob Black. I no longer want anything to do with you." Jacob huffed at Aquila's word. He was about to protest when Embry and Jared came out of the woods.
"Walk away, Jake. Sam wants to have a talk with you." Embry said, pulling Jacob into the woods, giving Aquila and Edward an apologetic look.
"Sorry about that, Aquila. He's just grumpy with all of Bella's manipulation and the thought of you turning into a vampire. You and the Cullens are cool, if you ask me." Jared apologized.
"It's nothing. Really. Thank you Jared." Aquila smiled. Edward was about to say something when he froze. Aquila pouted at him thinking he smelled her. "I know I smell like a dog. No offense, Red."
"None taken. I gotta run. See you around." Jared waved and ran into the woods.
"No. Something's wrong." Edward said as he entered the house and went onto Aquila's room.
"What's wrong, love?" Aquila asked.
"Someone's been here."

A/N:
You guys! I missed y'all! I have been dying to publish this chapter but I keep putting it off because I just felt like something was missing. I was trying to decide where I should put the plot that I wanted to add in the story and I haven't decided where to yet. But I finally updated. I guess we'll cross the bridge when we get there.
So I have watched The School for Good and Evil for like ten times now. I haven't read the book though coz I'm a poor b*tch. But I do have this idea of creating a crossover based on the movie. A Descendants crossover, but instead of Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos, their children would be the main characters. I love Tagatha but again I'm a sucker for crossovers so I was thinking of Tedros × OC and Agatha ×OC. What do you think? Yay or Nay?
Also shout out and welcome back to !!! Thank you so much for your dedication, darling! And congratulations to your achievements! I'm so proud of you!
I've missed y'all so much and I would love to hear your thoughts!
Fun Fact:
Alice may or may not be the rebirth of Phoebe Black, Aquila's ancestor (in this AU only!). There is a bird named Black Phoebe or Sayornis nigricans which symbolizes hidden knowledge and wisdom. And Phoebe Black is also a seer.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
