At the Cullens' house, everyone gathered. Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting on the couch. Draco was standing behind where Aquila sat. Edward was sitting with Aquila. Esme is with Carlisle and Alice is standing beside Rosalie. Andromeda and Narcissa are at the Black Manor tending to Delphi and Teddy.

"Who was it? Someone we know?" Carlisle asked.

"This stranger... I don't recognize his scent." Edward answered.

"A nomad passing through?" Esme tried to guess.

"Charlie was sleeping in the house." Harry piped in.

"A passerby wouldn't have left Charlie alive." Rosalie pointed out which made Aquila's throat run dry.

"Moine, Dray, help me strengthen the wards around the houses. Uncle C could've died." Aquila asked which made Hermione and Draco nods.

"Could it possibly be a deatheater?" Ron asked.

"No. I would've felt it. One of the house's wards alerts me about the magics performed in Uncle C's house." Aquila answered

As if on que, Jasper and Emmett then entered the living room.

"The scent disappeared about five miles south of Charlie's house." Jasper reported.

"Someone's orchestrating this." Carlisle said.

"Victoria..." Aquila said, realizing the red head vampire who still roamed freely.

"I would've seen her decide." Alice told Aquila as she reached out to the young Black's arms.

"Has to be the Volturi." Edward stated.

"I don't think it's the Volturi either. I've been watching Aro's decision too." Alice countered.

"What about Caius, Marcus or any of those guards?" Aquila asked.

"I'll try to check." Alice nodded at the young witch.

"No, I don't think they will, Wils. They knew about Alice's gift which would be their disadvantage. They wouldn't put themselves on the line." Draco said.

Hermione's eyes widened in realization after realizing what Draco meant. "They're letting this happen. The chaos in Seattle. The attacks. They knew Aquila and the Cullens are the targets and they were letting it happen."

"But that doesn't answer the question on who's behind it." Harry said, trying to think of the possible mastermind.

"So we keep looking." Emmett said with determination.

"We'll also take shifts guarding Charlie's house." Carlisle said.

Aquila shook her head. "You don't have to do that. I'll strengthen the wards on Charlie's house, the Gryffindor's flat, Black Manor and this house. No one who could be a threat would be able to get in. What we have to protect are the towns people. We can handle ourselves, don't worry. And you can't do any protection detail while fussing over our security, searching for the intruder, for Victoria and keeping yourselves fed."

"I'm not leaving you and the kids defenseless." Edward told Aquila.

"I'm a Black witch, love. Have a little faith in me." Aquila chuckled.

"My star, you are the target of whoever this is. I trust you but that doesn't take away my worry." Edward told his fiancé.

"Well, I'm not gonna let you starve and I won't be unprotected. I know just who to call." Aquila smirked.

"Plus we have..." Harry said trailing off.

"What?" Edward asked him.

"You're not gonna like this, mate." Ron said, trying to stop himself from laughing.

Aquila's brow raised as Leah and Jared came into view. Harry suggested that they should involve the wolves since it's literally their job and purpose to protect the people in the area from vampire threats. Aquila still don't know how Harry easily made them agree.

When they arrived, Harry immediately filled them up about the intruder issue. Leah avoided Aquila's eyes while Jared waved happily towards them. Leah and Jared tried to identify the scent.

"Whoever it was, he left his drink behind. It'll be hard to miss when we cross it again." Jared informed the vampire, witches and wizards.

"We'll handle it from here." Leah told Edward.

Edward accidentally read Leah's mind and saw how she disrespected Aquila. This made him sneer at the she wolf. "We don't need you to handle anyone."

"I could care less what you need." Leah spat.

"Alright, we're done here." Aquila tried to sooth Edward's anger but Leah butted in.

"No, you're done here." Leah said, throwing Aquila a glare.

"What is your problem with me?" Aquila asked, already done with Leah's rudeness that came out of nowhere.

"Maybe I just wanted you to stick with your bloodsucker and keep your distance from my imprint!" Leah growled.

"Stop! Please, this argument is pointless." Harry said, getting in between the couples and the shifters. "From now on, I'm Switzerland, okay?"

"What does that even mean?" Ron whispered making Hermione smack the back of his head.

"Not the time, Ronald."

"You imprinted on my god brother!?" Aquila asked Leah as her eyes jumped back and forth from Leah and Harry. "She's the one you're seeing from the Rez?"

"Yes." Harry sighted. "Look, I'm not asking you guys to chuck a quaffle around. We have bigger problems than this. Please just work together for the safety of everyone."

Everyone remained silent for a moment. Then Aquila stepped forward and faced Leah. They glared at each other, sizing each other up. Aquila looked at Leah up and down. When Leah didn't avoid her piercing gaze, Aquila turned to Harry.

Harris gulped. Leah was a very important girl for Harry. But Aquila is his everything. He wanted them to like each other. He wanted Aquila's approval because he's the only family he has. Harry felt nervous at Aquila's blank face. No one spoke until the corner of Aquila's lips tugged into a smirk.

"I approve."

"Alice, take the lasagna out of the oven. Emmett, more seats, please. Jasper, the table. Set the table. Thank you Rose. Carlisle get me the bigger bowl." Esme ordered everyone in the house.

"Uhm excuse me. Esme? What are we supposed to do?" Aquila asked, pointing at herself and Edward.

"We're fine here, Callie. Just take Edward and welcome the guests okay?" Rosalie smiled at her which she nodded at.

Aquila called her own squad. Blaise, Pansy, Theo, Ginny, Luna, Fred, George and Neville are coming over to help them with their vampire problem. The Slytherins were bound to stay at the Black Manor. Ginny, Luna and Neville were staying with the Golden Trio and Fred and George were offered to stay with the Cullens.

Esme insisted that we should invite them for dinner. She wanted to personally thank them for helping. The Cullens were excited to meet my most loyal friends again.

Just then, as everyone finished preparing, the doorbell rang. Aquila and Edward let the people in with a smile. Pansy hugged Aquila first.

"Long time no see, Wila." she beamed.

"It's good to see you too, Pansy." Aquila smiled. Pansy turned to Edward and shook his hands.

"My Queen!" Blaise ran and bowed to Aquila dramatically which made her roll her eyes. Blaise then turned to Edward and did the same, "My Queen's king."

"Control yourself, Zabini." Theo said, pulling Blaise up through his collar.

"Ittle Wila ain't so ittle anymore, right Gred?" George said.

"Right you are, Forge." Fred agreed, ruffling Aquila's hair.

Ginny pushed her brothers away so she could take her turn hugging her best friend. "I've missed you so much!"

"Same here, Gin-Gin." Aquila said hugging back.

"My turn." Theo said, spreading his arms to hug Aquila.

After a couple more hugs, some introductions and the mention of food, dinner finally started. The vampires and the magic folks got along quite well. After dinner, Aquila explained to them what was happening, the intruder, the wolves and Victoria.

"It's strange, don't you think? An intruder went inside your uncle's house now that you have a red haired vampire as an enemy." Theo said with a raised brow.

"Are you suggesting that the intruder and Victoria are connected, Nott?" Neville asked curiously.

"Well, it makes sense. Why now? Why someone related to Aquila? Why not the other people's houses? Why Forks?" Pansy ask, or more like stated the questions.

"There are quite plenty of nargles in the forest and they are quite rabid." Luna added out of nowhere.

"Don't worry Cullens, Wila..."

"We'll help yah."

George and Fred said simultaneously.

"As will we, my Queen." Blaise beamed.

"Why do you keep calling little star 'my Queen'?" Emmett whispered to Blaise.

"Have you seen her? I promised to be her big brother and big brothers are supposed to treat their little sisters as queens." Blaise whispered back which made Emmett nod. "Plus she's literally the most badass girl in Hogwarts and the queen of trouble so..."

"So we just have to put wards on each and every house in Forks?" Ginny asked Aquila.

"Yes, Gin. But as selfish as this may sound, I need you guys to stay a little longer and help us catch Victoria and if possible, the intruder too." Aquila asked.

"And what of the MACUSA?" Pansy asked the group.

"We shouldn't get them involved as much as possible. Unlike the British Ministry of Magic who actually respects us who came from dark families, MACUSA would use everything to drag us down. One of the reasons I tried to refrain myself from using magic as much as I can." Aquila stated.

The witches and wizards nodded. They were quite glad to help Aquila and the Cullens. It was nice to be on a different environment other than their homes, and meeting new friends like the Cullens isn't so bad at all.

Jasper and Ginny hit it off quite well as they talk about some fighting styles and whatnot. Rosalie and Pansy are quite busy talking about fashion trends in America. Alice and Luna are invested in their topic. Fred and George are teaching Emmett some magical vampire-proof pranks he could use. Neville is telling Esme some possible plants that would be a good addition in her garden. Carlisle was engrossed with Theo's story about magical healing methods since his family practically owned half of St. Mungo's. Soon enough, Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco joined them.

Aquila and Edward were smiling at each other. Their eyes having an unspoken conversation. Whatever it is that's coming, they're prepared.

Hello dearest! New Year, new upcoming chapters! How's your holiday?

I just wanted to share these thoughts. I thought during some school break, I'd have plenty of time writing and updating. But spending time with my family helped me reconnect with them and heal some wounds I never knew existed. So for those who feel a little disconnected to the people they love, I highly recommend trying to reconnect with them.

We've surpassed 300k! I don't know how we did but it's all thanks to everyone who took their time reading this. I feel overwhelmed with happiness. I still can't believe people actually read what I wrote. Y'all are my inspiration. Thank you!
