Tubbo promptly brought Mark to your friendly neighborhood magic old lady.
When they walked in, Tubbo was surprised by how the woman greeted the two of them.
"Ah, Toby, Mark, good to see you two again."
"You know this is Mark," Tubbo asked, holding up Catboo.
Catboo had been restless in Tubbo's arms. But when he heard the magic lady's voice he froze and hissed in her direction.
"Come now Mark, I only did what you wanted. But I guess all adventures come to an end," she said.
She began rummaging around and pulled out a spray bottle full of a pink liquid. She sprayed Mark, and Tubbo watched what went down in the alley.
The pain, the feeling of fire, the stretching, the grunts of pain, and the recognition of Mark's voice.
Although he wasn't fully human.
He still had the ability to fucking hear heartbeats and the drips of water. He could even hear the gentle moving pipes seven feet under the floorboards.
"Why can I still hear things," Mark shouted.
He did not fail to notice the fact that he was growling.
"Well, you're only as human as you let yourself be. And I think you refuse to be human so that you could help that friend of yours," the lady explained.
"Wait, where is (y/n)," Mark asked worriedly.
"How should I know," the lady asked. "All I know is that they fly home in less than twenty four hours."
Now I know
She'll never leave me
Mark ran out the door, the black and white suit slowing him down. Formal wear was never meant to sprint in.
Even as she fades from view
He had no clue where (y/n) could possibly be. He was just running aimlessly towards where he had last seen them.

(Your pov)
I was just sitting in a coffee shop, alone. Ben and Jack left to be tourists. I just wanted to be alone. The door to the shop opened, and someone sat across from me.
"I was looking for you," a familiar voice said quietly. "What's wrong?"
It was at that moment that I broke down. All the tears and emotions I had held in poured out.
He moved and sat next to me, and pulled me into a hug. I ended up gripping his shirt like my life depended on it, and I swear I heard him purr.
I'll fool myself
"I- I lost my best friend," I cried.
He began to rub my back and help soothe me. It felt nice that someone just held me as I cried into their chest.
She'll walk right in
And be with me forevermore
"You're going to be okay," he said. "I'm right here."

Vampire Life: Sara
This is a short story based on the character from my main book that is still in progress. The question that caused me to write this and other one to come was simple.... if you can't die, live forever, and interact with the human world, what do you do when something happens that you can't anticipate. In this book, Charles gets hit by a car.
