Once when The King Akbar

Was asking Birbal out,

"What will you choose Birbal,

From justice and some gold amount?"

Birbal at once answered

"I will choose gold, My Lord."

"How can you reject justice?

Do you find it a fun sport?"

"Don't misunderstand me Jahanpannah,

I chose gold because it's rare.

In your kingdom, where you rule,

It is only justice everywhere."

"So what is the use of choosing

Something that's all around.

I choose gold coin instead

Because it is rarely found."

The answers impressed Akbar

And he was happy to know,

That in his kingdom, where he rules,

Only justice shines and glows.

So that's how 'The Clever Birbal'

Proved himself the smartest of all,

And with his great skills, he won

The hearts of the crowd in the hall.
