You slowly leaned in close to Toothless slowly closing your eyes in the process. Through your peripheral vision you can spot both your brothers flinch at your sudden boldness in contrary to Stormily who is sitting straight with a smirk on her face. You see Toothless close his eyes in anticipation while you smirk and then proceed to bump heads with him while chuckling lightly. He was taken aback and seemed a bit disappointed with what I did. My brothers sighed in relief while while Stormfly looked down with sighing while shaking her head.

Lately You can now confirm that you have feelings for Toothless. If he where to ask you to be his mate you would not hesitate to say yes. You thought that since mating season is soon to come up then maybe he would ask you to be his mate then. You of course where no impatient dragon even if he didn't ask you during mating season you would wait until he was ready to ask. You didn't want to pressure him or force him in any way you where okay with him taking his time.

You where currently on your way to port to get some materials for Hiccup to make more things around Berk. A small crew was here to carry the necessary things. But others have also came to attend some personal things which you actually don't know about,

'I should ask them' you think to yourself. You look towards Stormfly and say

"Hey Stormfly do you know what everyone is going to do once they get to port"Stormfly responds without looking at me

"Hiccup needed materials and Astrid was thinking of getting something for Hiccup for the date they are planning on having soon, but not sure about the others" She says with a closed eye smile.

"Wow that's sweets I wish to one day experience that soon" you say while side glancing at Toothless who seems to blush at your comment. You chuckle to yourself a bit before turning towards the front looking at the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut who are talking quietly among each other while snickering. You sweat drop a bit not even imagining of the things they are planning to do. You then lowly roar at Barf and Blech to get their attention. In which they glance at you then slightly turning their heads to look at you.

"Hey Barf and Belch what are you planning to do once you get to port" you ask then with a nervous smile since you heard Barf and Belch laughing a bit once you asked the question. You can also see Stormfly sweat drop a bit. Belch responds first with a

"Tuffnut and Ruffnut are going to attend a mace weapon competition" Then Barf continues

"Yah and the winners get a whole free banquet with 2 free invites"he said with much enthusiasm. I look at them with a confused expression which they caught on.

"Can the 2 free invites be you two dragons?'' Stormfly intervenes with an also confused look, saying exactly what you where thinking. Barf and Belch then form smirks with mischief in their eyes in which both me and Stormfly knew what they where gonna say already.

"They never said we couldn't" They both respond in Unison while tilting their heads to the side with a wide grin. I could see Stormfly sweat drop a bit while I just chuckle at the action although it was a bit creepy. I guess they are not wrong, although I don't know if they will have food for dragons prepared. Yet again Barf and Belch can eat almost anything Ruffnut and Tuffnut eat. Knowing them to its no surprise that they want to win this competition since they love food so much but I don't recall them having an extravagant mace to win this competition.

"Do they even have a mace to compete in this competition?" I ask with a curious tone. With this Barf and Belch turn their heads to the front again while snickering. Me and Stormfly can already tell that they did something ridiculous to get this certain mace and the reason why its not visible to anyone right now.

No, they dont own anything like that" Barf stated

"But Stoick the Vast does'' Belch added with a laugh. I tensed up and I could see Stormfly and Toothless eye's widen with shock. These two really had the guts to steal something from Stoick the Vast, I don't even want to know what's going to happen to them if they are found out.

"They stole It?!" Toothless asked with an alarmed tone but his face seemed mad. Barf and Belch both said in unison

"They didn't steal it, they barrowed without asking" not a drop of worry was in their tone if anything it seemed like they both say this more often than anything else. Both Stormfly and Toothless look momentarily down with a heavy sigh while shaking their heads. Not wanting to pursue the issue more you slow your pace and go next to Meatlug.

"Hey Meatlug what are you and Fishlegs planning to do at port or today in general?" you ask with a small smile while looking at her. She looks and you with a wide smile and responds

"We are going to go help Hiccup with the supplies and help Astrid with helping to pick out the gift for Hiccup''. 'Wow it seems that she's putting a lot of thought into this gift

'I wonder if Hiccup is planning to do the same' you think to yourself. As if Toothless read your mind he responds from the front saying.

"Hiccup plans to make Astrid a new Kransen" I turn my head to the front to look at him and see that he turned his head slightly back to look at you. You nod in understanding seeing that she wore one in her hair all the time. Not even bothering to ask Hookfang anything you grow quiet although it seemed like he was planning on asking you something. Thankfully Stormfly intervenes with her own question.

"Now that I think about it what are your brothers doing that they couldn't come with us" I look at her with a smirk which she notices.

"Don't start" Stormfly says with a sharp tone, like I said before we don't like to joke a lot in front of others only among ourselves. I shook my head in with a silent laugh and respond her question.

"They are currently with Valka to go get some blue Violet to cure these 2 new dragons that came injured from somewhere, then they are to help with the construction of the torn down houses they both fell on top off" Hookfang then fly's next to you wanting to be part of the conversation he asks

"Did they say what happened to them" you turn towards him with a poker face then respond

"No when they crashed on top of the houses they became unconscious and have not woken up" you say with a curious tone. It is weird that the wounds didn't seem to be from a dragon attack It might have been dragon hunters.

"Wow I hope that they are alright and that they will be okay" Hookfang says with a worried tone as you nod in agreement. We where interrupted by Hiccup saying that we where close to the port. At port everyone went their separate ways while you followed Stormfly and Meatlug with their riders. After a while of going around port looking at all the stuff Astrid and Fishlegs stopped at a shop and decided to go inside for a bit. It seemed to be a shop with lots of antiques I guess Astrid hopes to find something nice for Hiccup. You looked around outside not straying to far from them, as you went to turn the corner of a building in which you saw Snotlout and Hiccup buying parts with Hookfang and Toothless next to them. You smiled to yourself sharpening your hearing so you could listen to the conversation both riders where discussing.

"It seems that this is the final thing I need, now we can go back to Berk and do the sweep patrol on the back side of the island" Hiccup says as he turns towards Snotlout. Snotlout nods then says

"Okay thats fine of course you would need the most strongest team to go on this sweep patrol" he then flexes his muscles while Hiccup shakes his head with a sigh. You at this point turn back to join your previous group.

You are all now going back caring all the stuff that Hiccup picked up and such. Once you made it to land you put all the stuff you where caring in the spot that Hiccup had told you to put it. Once you did you made your way to the forest and stopped at a cliff that looked over the horizon. The sun was still high up in the sky and you where hoping to spot your brothers coming back but you guessed that it was still to early. You heard soft footsteps coming behind you making you smile a bit before saying.

"You both can come out now Toothless and Stormfly" you say confidently you hear a grunt from Stormfly while she appears at your right side making you smirk at yourself triumphantly . Then Toothless appears to your left with a smile while looking at you.

"I will never sneak up on you will I" Stormfly says with a defeated tone while shaking her head looking down. You smirk wider at her then respond

"Not with these ears" hearing a small laugh come from Toothless in which you turn towards him. You look at his beautiful green eyes in which you love to see the spark in them. He notices this and seems to tense up a bit.

"I always love your eyes they have a nice spark in them, I cant help but get lost in them" You say with a soft voice, he gets flushed up a bit visibly tensing and standing straighter. This is something you would usually say to a female dragon but you didn't seem the harm in saying it to a male dragon especially if its true. You lean in and brush your cheek against him feeling the heat emanate from him.

"I wish I could stay here like this with you but we need to go back I remember Hiccup was talking about taking you to the other side of the island for a sweep patrol right?" You say with a mischief smile as you back away from him a bit. It seemed like he needed a second to process what you said before responding kind of flustered.

"Y-yah he wanted to lead a simple sweep patrol over the back side of the island and see if there is anything needed to do such as set up a barrier or help in anything else that is needed." he explains while slightly tilting his head to the side with a smile. I nod with understanding. Toothless then looks down at the ground picking at the dirt before saying

" Since its a simple patrol check then not a lot of dragons are going only Hookfang and Meatlug with their riders" I stand up straighter raising my brow a bit before he continues.

"Would you like to go as well?' he asks while looking up at you. You smile at him and are about to respond but Stormfly interrupts you two making you look at her.

"Actually Astrid is taking us both to the island ahead of Berk for some long range training"Stormfly informs making her way towards you with a smile. You turn to look at Toothless and say

"I'm sorry but she's right, Astrid has yet to train with me for very long so she wants to try to fight long range in a secluded place where no one can get hurt." It seems that Toothless is Visibly a bit disappointed with my response. You smile at him a bit and then respond while slightly getting up.

"Well how about we hang out once we come back" you tell Toothless with a smile while your comment seemed to lighten up his spirits.

"Well lets get going" Stormfly states as she goes back first, I follow behind her before being stopped by Toothless.

"Um wait (y/n)" he said from behind you with a nervous tone you turn your head towards him.

Toothless P.O.V

"Um wait (y/n)" I say a bit nervous I see (y/n) turn her head at me slightly tilted. I have been wanting to ask her something for the longest time but never really found the right time to tell her. Since mating season is coming soon I wanted to ask her before she goes on her own somewhere attracting other potential mates.

"I've been wanting to ask you if you wanted to be my mate"I say with a serious tone. I see her expression change to shock as her eyes widen a bit. This is the first time I see her shocked and caught off guard, she still looks cute. It seems she tries to stutter out a response before I intervene.

"Before you answer I need to prepare so when you come back I'll ask you again so please wait for me" she seemed to calm down at this point then smiles at me.

"Of course I'll be waiting for you so don't take long" While (y/n) says this she makes her way over to me leaning in close to my face. I stutter a bit leaning back when I say

"I-i W-what are y-you d-doing" She doesn't respond as she closed her eyes then licks my cheek before turning away and going back. I hear her chuckle a bit as she flys off, I stay a stunned and flushed there for a second before smiling and saying

"what a tease"

(y/n) P.O.V

Me and Stormfly along with Astrid make our way to the small island a bit in front of Berk. I smile widely feeling happy about what Toothless said although it did catch me off guard at first. I look down at the beautiful crystaling water as I then hear Stormfly say

"Someone's happy" with a smirk on her face. I still look at the water as I hum in agreeance

"Yah Toothless is going to ask me to be his mate when we go back" I say with a happy tone.

"Wow leaving me alone for someone else I see" she says with and annoyed tone. I look up at her and smile softly at her knowing the real reason she's annoyed. Chuckling I respond with the same response she told me last time

"Awe as much as I like you I love your friend Toothless more" her irritated face made me laugh lightly.

"Don't worry Fireball I heard that my my brother is prepared to ask you to be his mate once he is finished with whatever he is doing" I say in a sure tone as I fly next to her. She perks up at this and swiftly turns her head turns towards me.

"Are you serious?" she asks with a hopeful tone, I nod my head. She then looks forward with an overjoyed expression. I laugh at her reaction then look forward as we see the island close by. It does seem like a good place to train very spacious. As we fly around the island we spot some ships on the shores.

"Thats weird, lets get a closer look Astrid says in an unsure tone as we get closer. You and Stormfly exchange a look as you see what appears to be dragon hunters with a few dragons in cages. There where not that many but the few that where there seemed to be dangerous dragons. You see some dragon hunters carrying cargo and cages filled with dragons inside the ships. You wonder if the 2 injured dragons escaped from here.

"This doesn't look good we should go back and get backup" Astrid says with a nervous tone in her voice. As much as you hated it she was right you where clearly outnumbered if you go in there now you would all get caught. You all slowly turn around and start to fly away for a whole everything seemed calm going farther away from the island until a small boulder comes flying at you all knocking Astrid out of Stormfly.

"Stormfly!!" Astrid yells in a panicked tone.

'Darn it there where other ships coming from the other way' you think to yourself.

Some darts come out aimed at you and Stormfly. You where able to dodge but Stormfly got hit, you have Astrid land on your back while also grabbing Stormfly with your arms and mouth. Due to the heaviness of everything you are twirling around a bit before trying to fly away feeling drowsy. You have not noticed that a dart hit your leg. You drop Stormfly who is caught in a net before blasting a ship having some of the wood chip off. Since you are just surrounded by sea you decided to throw Astrid close to where some of those pieces where floating since she got hit in the head and seems to be bleeding. You then drawlingly make your way close to Stormfly shooting more fire at them before getting hit with more darts slowly seeing nothing but darkness.

When you wake up again you groan a bit in pain of the soreness in the places that where hit by darts. You look around seeing yourself in a cage remembering about the past events. You start to slowly look around you then see in front of you there is another cage that has Stormfly in it still knocked out. You feel a relived sigh coming out of you seeing that she is unharmed then you notice a lot more cages around you with different dragons in them. You couldn't help but think of a sarcastic comment due to your haziness and tired state

''Great just where we want to be, in cages.''
