"It happened when I was younger, I was barely learning how to fight by myself, everything was in secret from my brothers. I would do different exercises and roam around whenever I was left alone which was almost every time they both went hunting." You side glance at your brothers seeing them shake their heads in slight frustration. You chuckle a bit before continuing.

"Then mating season happened during this time some males would catch my sent and try to make me their mate" the moment you say this Toothless makes a dark face not liking the sound of that. You and Stormfly both catch this and slightly smirk

"of course my brothers would not let that happen and not because they hated the idea but because I told them I just wasn't interested in having a mate yet. And lets just say some of them where a pain" You say as Silvereyes chimes in with his own input

"No kidding many of them where very persistent and didn't want to back off, right Firecracker?" Everyone turned to Firecracker who was still laying down and listening.

"Yes specifically that Tide Glider who kept telling her to "give him a chance" and stuff I don't care to remember" Firecracker answers with an irritated tone not liking the Dragon at all. You laugh nervously remembering the memory.

"yah he was a tough opponent considering we where flying above the sea when he attacked us" Silvereyes stated remembering how it all happened. You smiled a little seeing how they had such memories still kind of fresh on their minds.

"Well a few days after this incident I guess a certain male dragon had watched our routine and was smart enough to get me alone when my brothers went hunting"

Flashback told in (y/n) p.o.v

"Bye brothers bring back lots of fishy for me"you say giggling as your brothers go to find food for you to eat. You make your way up the mountain for a bit wanting to climb and explore. You where a tad more naïve at this age not thinking about what might hurt you when you lurk to far. You stop for a moment to inspect a rabbit hole, thinking whether you should dig in hopes to catch the rabbit in its den or let it be and lurk around some more. Until you suddenly could sense someone behind you. Without thinking you just blurted out

"I know you are there, are you here to catch rabbits with me?" You say teasingly now looking up and turning around to face the hidden dragon. The other dragon chuckles with amusement slowly revealing himself. Surprisingly you where caught of guard, shocked in his deep soothing laugh and big figure. You felt your heart skip a beat seeing him as he tilted his head while looking at you.

"I was just passing by when I saw you, I didn't know you where sensitive in hearing" he said with a smirk. Why was this dragon making you nervous you only just met him. He made his way over to you slowly and careful trying to give you some personal space. His whole demeanor and body language got to you.

"Well you have to be on high alert when you live alone up here" you say with a sly smile while looking at his eyes. He showed a confusing expression then said

"didn't you have two brothers with you?" only now realizing what he said making you smirk a bit at his comment.

"How did you know I had two brothers with me?" You say with the same expression. He looks down a bit chuckling before lifting his head to look at you.

"It embarrass me to say it but I've been waiting to meet you alone, so I can talk to you without much interference" you look at him with an understanding expression knowing that your brothers would not like you talking to a male dragon alone.

"Well you have me alone now, what would you like to know?" I respond with a smile and sit up straight he looks at me with a smirk then asks

"would you mind taking a flight with me at night? ill be over by the huge waterfall waiting" he more like stated the last part than asked. He turns to walk away when I mutter out

"I never said ill go!" Wanting to tease him a bit before he leaves. He turns his head around slightly to look at you with a knowing smirk saying

"you never said you wouldn't" flying away almost instantly not giving you a chance to respond. Leaving you there looking at his silhouette disappear without a trace. You honestly where interested in this dragon and had already set your mind in meeting him later that night of course without telling your brothers. They would probably sneak around following you and this new dragon just because they can. Later that night you made sure that your brothers where asleep by making sure their breathing was even and their heartbeat is normal.

You got up from where you were laying down checking on my brothers one last time before heading out to the giant waterfall. You first walked away slowly then started to fly not wanting to make much noise. You could already see him there waiting there for you. He just sat up straight looking relaxed and staring at the sky. You landed next to him smiling widely feeling super excited about going on my first flight with a male that was not any of your brothers. He turned towards you smirking with a knowing look and stood up.

"You look ravishing in the moonlight you know that" he said in his deep husky voice that brought shivers down your spine. He knew just how to get to you mostly because he's the first male you ever let get close to.

"Thank you, you look nice tonight as well" you say to him shyly as you slightly look to the side. He chuckled light heartily then said

"come on starlight lets go for a flight" he fly's first towards the night sky with you following close behind. That night was wonderful very dreamy and nice. You kept sneaking out like this enjoying almost every night for about a month. You did feel bad that you where sneaking around without telling your brothers so after a while you went up to them and told them everything that was happening.

"Why didn't you just tell us" one of your brothers said with a look of hurt in his eyes.

"Well I didn't think you would let me go" you say looking at your paws shyly with your wings bend a bit behind you.

"We don't own you, we protect you not enslave you. If you really like this dragon you can see him" said your oldest brother with an understanding tone as he looked down at you. You felt a huge relief as both your brothers seem to understand and respect your decision. You smile a wide grin and feel fuzzy inside.

"Soo-" one of your brothers said

"when do we meet him"your oldest brother stated more than asked. You giggle light heartily knowing that they would ask that. Of course you had it all planned out. That night when the right time showed up you where going to tell your potential mate that if he could meet your brothers. Then see if they like him, you want to grow a strong bond so that its comfortable to soon show up with him without it being awkward.

"You will meet him tonight!" You say clearly very excited. Both your brothers seem pleased with this and asked

"what kind of dragon is he?" They look at you intensely. You perk up a bit not knowing what their reaction would be.

"He told me that he was a Skrill" you say with a curious look in your eyes as they seem to stand in unison and look at you with bewilderment.

Flashback being paused by Stormfly

"Waa?-wait wait waaiit waaaiiiit"Stormfly interrupted your story with a confused look in her eyes. At this point you are all sitting down with dragon fruit around you enjoying the sweet taste of it.

"What's the matter Stormfly?"You looked at Stormfly with amusement in your eyes.

"You agreed to meet a Skrill? in the night? Alone? A dragon who basically has no respect for others and is very dangerous to be around" Stormfly said with disbelief in her eyes. I cant blame her, Skrills are very dangerous especially at night where they can summon a lot of lightning. I responded calmly

"well I was younger and he was pretty respectful when I met him so I thought he was different, that is why I liked him right off the bat." That got Toothless a bit envious by the look in his face which I don't blame. Stormfly shook her head slightly then saying

"only you would be crazy enough to go out with a skrill." You chuckle light heartily at her comment. You look down at the grass seeing it move slightly due to the wind a bit before continuing.

"That night was like the other nights I spent with him, he took me near a cliff where we could see the stars very clearly. He wanted to demonstrate himself being engulfed in lightening which impressed me a lot at the time" you say with a bitter look in your eyes.

Flashback beginning again

He stood tall and confidently as he then engulfed himself in lightning. You look at him in awe with great astonishment in your eyes. You saw how the lightning flowed gracefully yet chaotic around him like he was a magnet attracting a great force. He saw you looking at him with great attraction and smirked at you. You saw this and blushed looking a away momentarily.

"You look very powerful and handsome like that" you tell him with a big blush on your face feeling a bit silly.

"Its all for you if you become my mate" he says with a straight face looking into your eyes. You became flustered by the sudden question and froze just looking at him. He came towards you landing in front of you and asked you again.

"Will you be my mate?"He asked you looking in your eyes with a flare that you never saw before and honestly it scared you. This made you hesitate surprising yourself as you respond with

"no"this shocked the both of you leaving you a bit shocked

'why am I shaking?, why do I feel fear?' You see the look of surprise on his face which was the first for you. He put his head down making a shadow cross over his eyes. You lean towards him a bit you felt a bit guilty wanting to take it back

"hey I'm sorry I didn-"

"you cant refuse"you get interrupted by him and get a very bad feeling. He never used such a harsh tone on you before why now?. You are confused and ask

"what?" In which he says again harsher

"you cant say no your going to be my mate and we are leaving now, lets go" he says with a glare and determined goal. You where bewildered and frightened so like a scared bunny you freeze not moving and just looking at him. He moves towards you with an angry look. You lower your head a bit wanting to submit to him

"I said lets go" he stated pushing you towards a cliff where you can slightly see a cave inside. The face of your brothers flash in your mind making you stop in your tracks.

"I cant leave my brothers, I want to go back" you state to him as you try to struggle. He stops and towers over you glaring at you. He then slaps you leaving scratch marks on your face. You are left confused and broken a bit from your heart.

"You don't get to disobey me"he ordered you with an intense stare. You shiver at his tone and aura not wanting to disobey him at all. Knowing you wont be able to escape him on your own you make one last attempt to get away from him. You let out a loud wail and blow 2 sharp fire signals. In which he smacks you dragging you into a cave sinking his sharp teeth into your back. You try your best to resist him but learn that he just attacks you harder than what he use to.

"Don't make me hurt you more than you are already" you look at him with a disappointed look in your eyes. He has been beating you and torturing you for the past hours. Shivering from your muscles acing with blood coming out of your open wounds and scratches everywhere you feel tired but say with a glare

"then let me go"he sighs the prepares a small shot of electricity to knock you out. You feel hot tears fill your eyes and as much as you tried to keep them in you felt them fall. You feel a shot of unbelievable pain making you scream then see black.

You wake up to yourself twitching and feeling your new open wounds ache all over you. You feel the pressure of someone behind you and something wet touch your cheek. You look above yourself to see him on top of you. He looked surprised to see you awake I guess he intended to immobilize you longer. He leans down at you and whispers

"you are gonna be mine tonight whether you like it or not" he says sickly, you try to say something but your throat is dry and his heavy body on yours doesn't help your lungs. You can only make a small whimper as he slowly licks your neck with his slimy tongue. You feel more tears in your eyes and curse yourself for being weak and naïve.

'I'm so sorry my brothers if I could only get out of this situation and be with both of you again, that would be enough' you then hear the growl of both your brothers which brought you joy and hope. They glared at the Skrill which looked very angry to have been interrupted in something he hadn't even started yet. You wanted to help but the way he beaten you made it hard for you to even breath. So watching helplessly you cried to yourself hoping your brothers could defeat him and help you leave.

End of flashback

"All I could do is lay there and watch my brothers fight for me, until eventually we where able to escape in which my brothers came out of there seriously wounded. Firecrackers wing got broken and could not fly for a while" you said with a sad tone and broken eyes. You never thought things would end that badly. That is why you wanted to be careful around Toothless no matter how he acted around you.

"It was terrible seeing my sister being hold down by such a beast and we both swore to protect her from that ever happening again" said Silvereyes with bitter eyes he seemed enraged by the memory. You felt bad for making them go through something like that.

"We would do anything for her so for her safety we moved to different island every few weeks"Firecracker chipped in with a serious stare. You felt bitterness inside every time you thought back to that day feeling useless for not doing anything.

"Why not simply relocate and stay in one place far away" Stormfly asked with a curious look in her eyes. You responded back with

"before we left he said that he would find me again and not stop looking for me until he did. The look in his eyes when we left looked like he meant everything he said" you looked at the ground being slightly frightened by the memory of his glaring eyes.

"We didn't want to take any chances with him" Silvereyes said with a serious tone. You looked towards toothless who was glaring at the ground a bit and slightly shaking. You widen your eyes a bit before going back to normal and going towards him.

Toothless P.O.V

I was furious hearing what (y/n) had to go through, him betraying her trust. He must have been the lowest of scums. I could feel myself shake a bit in anger. I then hear footsteps and a shadow loom over me. I look up to see those beautiful (e/c) eyes which always suck me in. (Y/n) stood there smiling at me softly she leaned down at me touching my forehead with hers closing her eyes saying

"thank you" it was very soft and was enough to calm me down she then opened her eyes again and moved away a bit.

"Don't worry in the end it wasn't so bad we got to visit new places that where enchanting to see and above all I got to meet both of you" (y/n) said with loving eyes while looking at me and Stormfly. She had such an understanding tone with a mature look I loved her so much and want to be her mate. But I know that she needs a bit more time in which I am willing to wait.

"I am glad to meet you too (y/n) its a blessing I will cherish forever in my life. Being able to breath the same air as you is enough to make me happy" I say without thinking. Everyone tilts their heads a bit with a surprised look in their eyes. This makes me blush a bit but seeing (y/n) smile in a tender way makes me calm down and feel happy.

"I am glad to have been able to meet you too Toothless" she says while leaning close to my face.
