(Marco's POV)
The tree burst into light and my eyes opened wide on their own. A painful shock went through my body. I felt my lungs burn and my eyes strain. I felt as if all my strength had left my body.
"I'm g-gonna be fine.... T-they're not g-gonna find me h-here..." A brown-haired lady choked, her eyes and hair glowing gold. She was clutching a baby. She looked.... worried. I was confused, "How did I get here? Why are you crying? Who am I? Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?" The lady ignored me. "I need t-to get up. I-If the shield b-breaks then he w-won't be safe a-anymore! Get yourself together, Morena!" She muttered.
"Morena, in the name of the king, please give me Marco. Do not make this hard for me. I don't want to murder you. I love my son as much as you do." I heard a man's voice say, trying to reasonate with the lady who was named 'Morena'. "I will never love you, Philip!"
"Morena, that's not what I'm saying. Please just give me my son. No-one has to get hurt that way."
"You will strip him of his powers!"
The man sighed, I could see him from outside the slightly transparent border around the lady. "Morena I don't care if the child has magic. In fact the more magic the better for him to be a strong prince. Morena, you don't care about Marco. You're afraid that he will ruin your affair with that elf. You know he would just ruin your life if he was alive. You're saying that he will get hurt when you know that you're going to be the one getting hurt because of your mistakes. Keep saying it's for Marco, but we both know it's in your favour only if he's raised by you."

"You know about Li? You bastard! You're going to kill her!"
"I understand that we aren't the perfect couple but please just give me Marco and you can go free."
"NEVER!" The lady sprinted out of the shield. My legs moved on their own, running along with her. The ground faded into black and I tripped on a root from a tree. Black. Endless darkness. Excruciating pain. My head was spinning.
"MARCO!" My head was fuzzy but I could make out the silouette of Reed running over to me. My eyes slowly fluttered closed.
(No-one's POV)
"Well you shouldn't have picked a fight with the guy who has an 8ft boyfriend." Luke muttered, nursing Mark's cheek. "Hey! He was the one who picked a fight with me! I hate them so much! Why can't we just go on our own?!" Mark yelled, Luke covered his ears and replied. "Because Marco has an 8ft tall lover that seems to know where we're going." "Hmph!" Was Mark's response. Mark slumped down. "Oh come here." Luke said, snuggling into Mark's shoulder from behind. He turned his head and kissed Mark's neck. "Eh!? Whaa?!" "Shhh Markie, just enjoy it~" Luke whispered, kissing up and down Mark's collar.
"Hey, why was I not invited?" Asked Parker, he slid in between Mark's legs and held them both down as he leaned in and gave Mark a loving kiss. Mark melted like butter between the two and whimpered.
"HEY SOMEONE HELP! MARCO'S HURT!"
(No-one's POV)
Yuni looked over at Inni, "Why are you still friends with me? I'm not exactly the 'good guy' in this story." Inni smiled, "Because I would miss you, and you weren't thinking straight and made a rash decision." she assured. "But aren't you worried that I'll make another rash decision?" Yuni said, breaking the eye-contact between her and Inni. Inni sighed, "Even if you made a million rash decisions, I would still be your friend." she said, her smile weakened.

"Really? You're just saying that too make me feel better." Inni glared at Yuni, a serious glint in her eye. "I would cross the seven seas for you. I would take an arrow for you. I would betray everyone I ever knew for you. I would kill for you, scratch that, I would kill myself for you." "Please don't." "I would though."
"HEY SOMEONE HELP! MARCO'S HURT!"
(Miss Travis)
Fire flickered around me. Are the kids safe...?
"Children!" I heard a girl sobbing in a corner. I grabbed her and the boy next to her. "Jade! Harris! Grance!" Two kids shouted back. I found and grabbed them as well. I ran out the front door clutching the kids. I managed to carry them to the river. "Is everyone alright?"
"Yes Miss." they said.
I exhaled. "Everyone. I will take you to the town then you can find homes there alright?" I got nods of approval. "I saw five older kids leave a while ago." Grance muttered. My eyes widened, "And they didn't help you?" I asked, seriously. They sniffed and nodded. "That's unacceptable. I can't believe that the older kids would treat you guys like that. Maybe on the way we'll see them and then they'll be sorry, tch not helping you innocent souls."
