(Reed's POV)

Everyone rushed over. Inni felt his forehead. Yuni moved closer and checked his pulse.

Mark stood in horror, it was clear that even though he acted like he knew what to do in situations like these, he couldn't do anything that could help Marco and deep down he wasn't ready to experience a death so early into our trek; even if he hated that person with almost every cell of his body.

Parker and Luke aggressively searched their bags, looking for any possible cures that may have inflicted upon Marco.

A singular tear slid down my cheek. I didn't want to lose him.... I couldn't.....

I didn't know why I fell so in love for him. It was like fate brought us together. If only I had some form of ability out of the water. I could protect him. I want to make to make him happy. I want him to be pleased with me.

He was pulling me so many ways. When he ran away that day I felt like I did something wrong. Was that his way of punishing me? He just ran away. I didn't know what I did. It's like I was his plaything..

But I liked it in a way. After that I yearned for him again. Yearned to feel him again, to touch him, to let him control how we were going to go. Maybe all human love is like that? I saw Yuni hurt Marco.. So was that how I should act? Should I act like a mindless plaything that abides to my master's every whim? Is that what would make him happy.....? 

If that's true than I would do anything for Marco.

Anything.

(Marco's POV) 

I woke up. Reed was lying next to me. "Oh you woke up. Reed passed out not long after you did. Haha, I knew you were heavy but not that heavy. Damn!" Inni said. "Anyway now that I can stop watching your dumbass self and go do some...... Things..... That could involve a certain Yuni... BYE!" Inni yelled as she slipped out of the tent.

Classic Inni.

I sat up and stroked Reed's crimson red hair. It was soft and fluffy. I giggled and pulled out of his hair. I started to get up and then felt and felt a hand tug on my arm, right below my rolled-up sleeve. I looked down at Reed and saw that he was awake. "Stay..." I smiled and fell back down. 

To my surprise Reed was super clingy. "Ah- I'm a little bit uncomfortable, Reed. Could you stop for a second?" He mumbled sorry and stopped clinging to me. "Uhm... Marco?" He asked softly, "Yes?" "Actually nevermind. Haha." He said, awkwardly and moved closer to me. He nuzzled his lips onto my lips and pressed them together. 

"Mmh!" "Ouh- sorry...." I wasn't expecting it and tried to push him away a bit. "Ok. That's enough." I sighed and rose from the makeshift bedding. "We need to go help the others." I walked out of the tent.
