"A truce?" Eleena questioned with her eyebrow raised.

"Yeah, it will prevent conflicts and more work is done, win win situation i say." There was a brief pause between us, I stared at her awkwardly, waiting for her answer.

"You got a point, I guess we can have a truce,"

I put out my hand and she did the same.

"Truce?"

"Truce." She said and firmly shook my hand.

"On one condition," she pulled me towards her and I looked up at her, tilting my head in curiosity,

"Dont fall in love with me," Eleena said softly,

"In your dreams Delà Cruz," I chuckled.

"Again you're not my type," I laughed and turned to face my desk.

"I'm everyone's type," her nose scrunched up while she furrowed her brows.

"That's cute hon but yes you're not my type."

Eleena rolled her eyes and snatched the blank timetable sheet out of my hand.

"I'm free every Wednesday at lunch so we can do the art project then if you're at school too?"

I nodded,

"Okay cool, thursday and friday afternoons i'm free so can we do tutoring then?"

"Yes that should be fine, I'll photocopy it for a physical copy but take a pic of it just in case you lose the sheet." Eleena nodded and complied. I handed her the sheet and she stood up from the seat.

"I'll see you in art Azia." Eleena smiled,

"See you Eleena." She closed the door behind her and left. I plopped onto my bed once again and I hugged my pillow tightly. My eyes lids felt heavy, I let them fly shut and dozed off.

I'm so glad that's over, my heart was pounding through out all of that. Why am I feeling so...different? I've never felt like this. Why now?! Ugh.

"Hey sweetheart, how was the session," Acacia said unlocking the car door,

"It was fine, everything sorted," I replied plainly,

"You sound upset, anything else happen?"

"I'm not dont worry, we just made a truce,"

"A truce uhuh elaborate,"

"Basically no fighting, staying civil for the tutoring and art project then back to our old ways."

"At your big age, couldn't you just sort out your differences without a truce."

There were times where Acacia stepped up and felt as if she was a second motherly figure in my life, after Maria. And every time she would call me out for stupid things I've said and done, I'd listen because I knew she was right but it pissed me off.

"Shut up, a truce is a truce okay?" I fired back and crossed my arms like a child throwing a tantrum.

"Okay, I'll drop you off at your house now."

"Thank you by the way...for everything today, it means a lot." I said rubbing my arm,

"You're welcome Eleena, I'd do anything for you in a heartbeat."
