"What about you, kiddo? Are you gonna stay here?", asked Tsubasa to Yu outside the stadium.

"Yep, I mean I have to get back at that guy from before", said Yu.

"What guy?", asked Tsubasa.

"You know the guy I am talking about the one that interrupted yours and Gen's battle. That guy who uses Striker", said Yu.

"I see. Well then I guess I am gonna have to leave him to you. Let's plan at meeting at the finals okay", said Tsubasa as he walks away from Yu.

"Sure thing, Tsubasa. I am looking forward to it. And good luck impressing Gen. I am sure she would be seeing it too", said Yu. Tsubasa gets shocked hearing this but doesn't mind.

"Father what's this all about?? (Everyone turns around) What's the deal me being chosen as a regular without even battling?", said Gingka dashing into Ryo's office.

"Because you are already the strongest blader in Japan by showing it in Battle Bladers ", said Gen.

"So it makes sense to chose you", said Ryo.

"No way...no fair? You mean there is this great competition right here and I can't join in?", said Gingka as he leans towards the glass in a funny way.

"That's your son, Director. So proud, aren't you?", said Gen doing a sweat drop.. Ryo and Hikaru became embarrassed.

"Well I will better be going, good luck crying there, Gingka", said Gen as she went for the door.

"Why does she have the permission to battle while I don't?", asked Gingka.

"Well you won the Battle Bladers while I didn't get to battle any tournament...so see ya"

"And that's why you can't go for this", said Hikaru.

"What?!".

"These matches are for the ones who battled in the WBBA tournaments and Battle Bladers. Since you didn't battle any of them, you can't enter", said Ryo.

"What? No, no, no, no! You gotta be kidding me! I want to battle too. Please daddy", said Gen as she begging her dad.

"That adorable face won't work against me...No it's a no", said Ryo.

"Oh come on dad!", said Gen looking angry at him.

"Hah! Now you don't get to battle too, you just got burned, Gen", said Gingka as he started to laugh.

"You are pathetic, Gingka"

"Oh yeah...you are even more pathetic than me..."

"What did you say?"

"BOTH OF YOU QUIET! NO ONE IS TAKING PART IN THE TOURNAMENT SO SIT IN THAT SOFA AND KEEP PIN DROP SILENCE...DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?", shouted Ryo which made Gen and Gingka shut their mouth.

"Let's get this party started", said Blader DJ.

"Wait", said as they both cried in a funny way. The battles started and everybody is getting pumped up.

"3,2,1 Let it rip!", said Gen and Gingka.

"Go now, Galaxy Pegasus", said Gingka.

"Go, Accalia", said Gen. But they were battling in the small room.

"This is the stupidest battle I have ever had", said Gingka in sadness.

"Usually I don't agree with you, but only for this moment I have to", said Gen looking at their bey spinning.

"I seriously got such wonderful children. Gingka, Gen please stop that", said Ryo in embarrassment. "

The battles came to an end. Kenta and Benkei were in 5th and 6th position. Yu and Tsubasa were in 4th and 3rd, Masamune in 2nd and Kyoya in 1st.

"Kyoya?", said Gen.

"Looks like someone still cares about Kyoya", said Gingka looking weird around her.

"What? No way...", said Gen showing her angry face towards Gingka.

"You love Kyoya...you love Kyoya!", Said Gingka irritating her.

"Will you both stop it already?", shouted Ryo. They both were shocked. In order to get into the Japanese team, three bladers and a sub should be there. Gingka is already chosen as he won the Battle Bladers. Masamune vs Yu and Kyoya vs Tsubasa - battles for 2 bladers and losers from these two battles will have the battle for the substitutes.

"Wow tomorrow will be packed with awesome battles", said Ryo.

"Yeah it will be", said Gen. Suddenly she felt something.

"You okay? Gen", said Ryo.

"Yeah I am fine, Dad", said Gen looking straight at the window.

Tsubasa was in a forest training for his match with Kyoya.

"Looks like I am facing Kyoya, I will defeat him (takes an old bey and looks at it) and show Gen that I am stronger", said Tsubasa.

He remembers an old memory of his childhood. It was a sunny day at Beyblade camp where young bladers train to battle. The memory shows young Tsubasa battling with a kid.

"Go now, Eagle", said young Tsubasa as his bey soars through the sky and dashes into the kid's bey. But the kid dashed into his bey. Eagle was out of the stadium.

"You lost!", said the kid as he started to laugh and the others too joined in.

Young Tsubasa takes his bey and cries and run away. He sits near a tree and looks at his bey Eagle.

"Why can't I win?", he said as he started to have tears in his eyes.

"Whatcha crying for", said a girl with long hair who popped near him. Young Tsubasa gets shocked and moves aside.

"Who are you?", he asked.

"Well I asked you a question first, so tell me why were you crying?", she said as she came close to him.

"Umm...I lost a battle with someone", said Tsubasa.

"That's what you were crying for? I thought for a sec, you got hurt or something, that's not something you should be worried about, there is always a next time, pal", said the little girl.

"Its not that easy for you to say, I lose every time, I don't know why", said Tsubasa.

"Hmm...give me your bey", said the little girl.

"What? Why should I? I don't even know you", said Tsubasa.

"Just give it to me, I won't break it or anything", said the little girl showing her hand.

"Okay fine, but promise you won't break it?", said Tsubasa.

"Yeah I won't, now give me the bey of yours, (she takes the bey from his hand), hmm...oh I see where the problem, the problem is with your fusion wheel", said the little girl.

"My fusion wheel?", asked Tsubasa.

"Yeah, your fusion wheel is very heavy which reduces the spin of the bey making it last for a second after dashed by another bey, I think I have the perfect fusion wheel for this bey, let's see....ummm....yeah that's it...(she takes her bey and removes the fusion wheel of her bey and then fixes it on Eagle and taking Eagle's old fusion wheel and keep it in her bey)...there...that should work...try battling with it now...", said the little girl as she gives it to Tsubasa.

"Okay", Tsubasa said as he got up and took his launcher and aimed for the target.

"Let it rip!", he said as Eagle dashed into a tree and the tree broke into pieces.

"Whoa! (He takes his bey), it's become stronger than it was the last time", said Tsubasa.

"I knew this would work", said the little girl.

"Thank you, but its your fusion wheel, I can't have it", said Tsubasa.

"Oh you can keep it, if you allow me to give your fusion wheel for my bey Luprio, I was searching for a bey who has a fusion wheel like this for a long time", the little girl.

"For a long time? Wow", said Tsubasa.

"How about we battle? I really wanted to battle with this fusion wheel", said the little girl showing her bey.

"Yeah I would love to", said Tsubasa. They battled and Tsubasa won.

"Oh man! I lost, guess you won, are you happy now?", said the little girl taking her bey.

"Yeah, thank you again", said Tsubasa.

"Don't thank me twice, anyways I had a great battle, by the way, what is your name?", said the little girl.

"Tsubasa, Tsubasa Ootori", said Tsubasa.

"Tsubasa? Don't you think that is a long name, why don't I call you....hmmm... let's see...From today onwards your name will be Paco", said the little girl.

"Paco?", said Tsubasa.

"Paco means eagle in some kind of language, I think French? I saw your bey's top, and plus that name of yours, what was it...Tanny?.. Tsunami?.....see..I am bad at remembering long names...anyways today onwards we are best of friends", said the little girl.

"You want to be my friend? But why?", said Tsubasa.

"The guys you battled are a bunch of fools who make fun of kids who are weak to battle, you seem like a kind and cute guy....so let's be friends till the very end", said the little girl. Tsubasa starts to blush.

"Umm...What is your name?", said Tsubasa.

"Oh my dear, I forgot about it, my real name is Genoa Hagane but you can call me Gen, and this is my partner Luprio", said the little girl showing her bey.

"That's so cool bey, I have got a boring bey", said Tsubasa.

"Who said you got a boring bey? Ignore what other people say, Paco, I like your bey, and it is awesome", said Gen.

"You think Eagle is awesome?", asked Tsubasa.

"Yep at least it's better than Luprio, anyways, the mentors must be looking for us, let's go, we have a lot of things to talk about, and we will do it at Beyblade camp, come on", said Gen taking his hand and running out of the forest. Tsubasa looks shocked at her holding his hand.

Ever since that day, I was not alone. Gen and I would do everything together whether it is study or practise battling. She would tell me about her family, mainly about her mother who at that time was the owner of Accalia.

"She said that when I am 12 or 13, she would give me Accalia as my new partner", little Gen said lying down on the grass with little Tsubasa looking at the night sky.

"What about Luprio? It is your partner after all", asked Tsubasa.

"I will give it to someone who is worth of it, what is your dream, Paco? You know when you become big", asked Gen.

"I didn't think about it...maybe becoming the strongest blader in the world...", said Tsubasa.

"Wow, that's some high hopes you got, Paco", said Gen.

"What is your dream?", asked Tsubasa.

"To be the strongest blader in the world just like you said but not just that...I want the world to see that a girl like me can also beyblade too....that's my mom's dream....but she wants me to be the one....", said Gen.

"I am sure you will be but before that, you have to face me, if you can defeat me, then your wish will come true", said Tsubasa. They both started to laugh.

"Then we will be stronger together, travel around the world and battle in tournaments, looks like we have a plan for the future, we are gonna travel buddies", said Gen.

"Wait you want to travel around the world, with me?", said Tsubasa.

"Why? Do you don't like to?", asked Gen.

"I didn't mean that way....it's just I never thought from the start...I will not get friends like you...people think I am weird....", said Tsubasa in sadness.

"You are not weird to me, you are the smartest guy who thinks things in a right way, that's why I like you a lot. (She gets up and looks at him), Paco, don't let the bad comments hurt you because if you did, then who knows maybe you might be wandering the streets all alone, boy, if I didn't find you, you could have end up like that. To be honest, I was like you, didn't have any friends, but I have you so basically we got each other, so don't be sad", said Gen.

"Yeah you are right", said Tsubasa in a smile.

"That's the Paco I want to see, always be happy in life, and if you need any help, I am always there, just give me a call", said Gen showing a fist bump. "I will", said Tsubasa also doing a fist bump and they both started to laugh.

We had fun beyblading with each other through the summer camp. Gen was first weak but later with Eagle's old fusion wheel, she got stronger than before. She even started to defeat me which didn't make me angry or anything because she said that being angry won't do any good. And soon I started to have feelings for her when she touches my hand or hugs me. But..one day...when we were making something, the mentor called her and said that someone wants to talk to her, so Gen left. But she didn't come back for the rest of the summer. So after the camp, I went to where she stays, but it was worse. I heard that she got an accident which erased her recent memories. Since she didn't know me anymore, I left her home village and went on my journey to become the strongest blader in the world doing it for her and some day I will find her and tell her everything. And that's when I met her during the tournament. I thought she was someone else and later I knew that she was the person I knew. Except she made her hair short which I don't why. Now I have to show her who I am really.
