"He goes by many names: the Miracle Boy, the Dark Horse, the Little Spark, Twinkle Toes, the unpredictable Wild Card, the Wonder Boy, and the Legend of Legends, Valt Aoi!"
Valt let out a joy of wonder and spark, happy to see the crowd happy.
"My number one favorite thing in the world has and always will be Beyblade! Everyone, let's have some crazy awesome battles!"
Valt and Gingka nodded. He was the real deal.
Then Hanami started going into Valt's backstory.
"He may have started out rocky, from a novice who couldn't even struggle to shoot his own Beyblade properly into the stadium."
Everyone started laughing, and Valt was a little embarrassed, but kept a smile on his face.
"Let his nerves get the better of him several times, fumbled several speeches, lost his Beyblade on the way to the stadium," and more that got everyone else feeling second hand embarrassment.
"But he's now a blader many of the legends have looked up, inspired different prodigies and icons, formed intense rivalries with the world's strongest, and remains a legend amongst the leaders! With his Valkyrie, they'll rush to victory!"
Tyson and Gingka were suddenly eager to battle with him, though Zero went up to him first.
"Your avatar is so cool," pointing to his beyblade that Valt took out to show everyone. Valkyrie came out and the other bladers around looked at the androgynous light blue armor and V shaped vest clad humanoid with their yellow eyes, helmet, wielding a powerful mighty sword. It was on top of a majestic red, white, and blue horse with no wings, but showed it's power via the dark plates and armor on the knees and hands.
Zero showed off his Samurai Ifrit. The samurai and the warrior raised their swords at one another, jousting as a token of acceptance and appreciation.
"Wow, you're one of the Legendary Bladers, aren't you?"
Zero shook his head. "I'm the Blader of Fire, and my mentor is the Legend I'll surpass," showing him Gingka.
Valt took the time to shake his hand. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm really looking forward to our battles, though I'm the one that's going way."
Gingka took it. "Sounds great, but my Pegasus and I are going to be the winners."
"Hey, don't leave me and Dragoon out of this," Tyson claimed, grasping their head.
"If you think you can stop Ifrit and I, bring it!"
Tyson, Gingka, Zero, and Valt were all getting excited with the thought of taking each other down. Dragoon, Pegasus, Ifrit, and Valkyrie all stared each other down with a nod.
If any of them would meet in the ring, they each knew they were in for one heck of a battle.
Many of Valt's friends and minor rivals were in the stands, though not anyone that made anyone question why they weren't on his team. The question was now who would be on Valt's team, which Max and Ray took note of.
"He's sort of like a big deal."
"Yeah, I haven't seen a crowd this excited about a person since Tyson at the World Championships. Hope it doesn't go to his head."
Hillary snarked. "Again."
"Hanami, introducing the coach of the Bombers, founder of the Beigoma Academy Bey Club alongside Valt, The Boss, the Head Honcho, a true man, and the Smooth Samurai, Rantaro Kiyama!"

Rantaro came out in a full gakuran attire, a tall build, a well groomed jacket with a red interior and gold buttons under an orange blazer, and tight black pants, as well as a blue sash, carrying a large white paper fan.
The crowd's mixed reactions let it known that reception wasn't as kind.
"Why him? I'd rather have Shu instead."
"He's just going to drag Valt down."
"He just beat the weakest member of Rideout."
"And in BC Sol's final match. He never won outside of that."
"At least he's better than his family. Ragnurak's such a lame bey, it just has a tornado attack anyone could beat."
"But what about the Legend Super Tag League, he and Valt did well."
"Yeah but Valt lost all his battles in there because of him. Drum, Aiga, and even his younger brother took him out no diff."
"And Valt didn't even need his help to beat Shu and Lain, he did all the work himself!"
The endless chatter was getting on Rantaro nerves and it was getting pretty clear that no one wanted him there. He stood proud, but his heart sank.
"Everyone stop!"
Valt's voice ripped the chatter into nothing.
"Rantaro has been my number one since the start. The two of us have had each other's backs since we formed the Bey Club. My team was chosen by me, and everyone there has helped me be the blader I am today. If you have a problem with Rantaro, then you have a problem with me too!"
It was the first time in a while Valt was angry, something that was genuinely unusual.
He slapped Rantaro in the back with the same smile almost immediately shaking it. "Let's show them what we're made of."
Rantaro's fiery spirit was reignited and pumped his fists. "You got it Valt," fanning his fan so hard that many people in the crowd were blown back into their chairs.
"Now that's power," Ray thought.
"A samurai eh," Tyson thought. "Gramps is going to love him."
Daichi was proud of Valt for standing up to his teammate. "I can't imagine having to deal with some jerk who can't appreciate their own tag partner."
Hanami introduced the third blader to come out. They were smaller than Valt and Rantaro, with a pale complexion, shadow under their black eyes, spiky black hair and a red bandana holding it up with a skull and other accessories, a belt buckle, necklace, while his intimidating black jacket jacket with purple stripes and red flames over his orange shirt and black clothes below the waist brought in an unknown atmosphere. He was ready to strike.
"Enter the leader of AS Gallus, Daina Kurogami!"
He walked in, calm and collected. "I'm ready. South, that prize money will be ours!"
In the crowd, the monitor was on Souta. "Do your best big bro!"
Hanami explained Souta was recovering in the hospital. Daina's efforts helped the pay to ease the burden off their parents.
The crowd rejoiced in awnh before realizing Monica was next to him.
"Your big brother is fighting for you too?"
"Mhmm. He's the coolest. Yours is here?"
She pointed down at Crusher. "Yeah, look!"

The two waved down to Daina and Crusher.
"Good luck you two. Do your best!"
Crusher suddenly approached Daina. The smaller blader of the Scythe wielding blade held his ground when Crusher extended his hand.
"Do your best. We have to do it for them."
Daina nodded. "Right."
Hikaru started shedding tears. She hadn't been back to Japan in so long, and wanted her mother to be here to watch her, almost shed tears. Sophie asked her if it was alright.
"Family's just important to me."
"You're making her proud."
Then the fourth person arrived on the scene, and Valt, Rantaro, and Daina's jaws dropped.
"No way!"
"You're back!"
"I thought you were on tour."
That spiky black hair, green eyes, sharp fang, green goat with the chain circle, and two familiar sock puppets had Valt crying and rushed over for a massive glomp as Hanami called out their name.
"The fourth member of the team, Kensuke Midorikawa!"
Kensuke wrapped in all the hugs as Rantaro joined in on the group hug and even Daina couldn't resist petting him.
"We thought you weren't going to show up again!"
Many people were sharing similar regards. Ken smiled.
"I couldn't just leave you guys hanging in such a big stadium," Kensuke claimed.
Ker snuffed. "Besides, we got a surprise for you!"
Beus laughed. "Be careful or your Beys are gonna Burst."
He threw out flyers for his family show, which others including Souta and Monica were eager to attend to but addressed his team.
"You've all gotten so much stronger since I last saw you all. It's time we connected again."
"Wait, are you sure? Kerbeus needs an upgrade."
"I wouldn't worry about that too much."
Valt wiped off the tears from his eyes. "I'm just," sobbing, "it started with just me and Rantaro and then for a while, it was the four of us," clearly thinking about the old times.
"It's been almost four years since then," Ken thought. "We've changed so much from when we started."
"We'll win this together guys."
The four of them performed a group high five as their support members in Nika and Principal Shinoda walked out.
"Well, he's late," Valt's younger sister pointed out to the final member, "but it's good to see you Ken. Mom bought some Beybread for everyone," handing them their own versions based on their Beyblade.
"Beyblade, that looks like food?" Madoka seemed interesting. "Gingka, would you mind if I did that for you?"
He shook his head. "Not at all!"
Principal Shinoda smiled. "You've all graduated from Beigoma, but now it feels like you're still my students. Beigoma and your families are proud of you."
Tyson was just enjoying the good vibes, though there was an old friend he hadn't seen in a while, and wondered if he could reunite with them soon.
Then Hanami called out for the final blader to arrive. And the audience made it very clear who was next.
"Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu!"
Suddenly an airship the size of a whale above the stadium caught almost everyone's attention. The stadium's ceiling opened up and a rope ladder dropped down. The person came down with blonde spiky hair, and a regal-purple attire from the dark best to the gold buttons with the stylized purple jacket and belt buckle.
And dropped down.
"The Commissioner of the WBBA? Wakiya Komurasaki?"
The bladers from Tyson's world had questions. "He works with the organization. Isn't that a bit of cheating?"
The bladers from Valt's world were equally stunned to see him. Rumors summarized he helped coach the Asahi brothers and defeated Ranjiro, Aiga, and Drum at one point, but no one knew all the details.
"Why are yer surprised to see me? Did you forget I'm an S-Ranked Legendary Blader?"
Hanami gave everyone the details on Wakiya. His rich family, owning an entire Beyblade team in Sunbat United, and using his money to develop programs to improve his skills and creating VR training to help rising bladers...with mixed results.
Rantaro groaned. He let the others know he was a strong blader but had a bit of.....issues.
Wakiya didn't seem to be happy by the bizarre reputation. "Valt, did something happen before I got her."
Valt giggled. "It's a long story."
Sophie cocked her head. "He kinda reminds me of Julian, but much, much more immature."
"What was that," Wakiya said, turning to her. "If you wish to test me and Wyvern, I'll be sure to remind you of all of my strength."
Gingka's mood soured. "Well he's definitely got Julian's level of pride."
Garland wasn't as pleased.
"Don't talk about strength when you hide behind all your fancy wealth. If you think you can earn respect coming in all high and mighty, I'm sure you're prepared for when I Burst your blade into pieces."
"I see the Siebald name isn't known for their hospitality. I don't need a dumb book of family principals to fight my battles for me. Or does your family consider you that much of a disappointment that you couldn't even secure the win despite somehow being second most powerful blader on your own team."
"At least my Beyblade can do more than swing up and down the stadium to do damage."
"At least I didn't join a sociopath who got used like pawns for money. If it took you long to realize Boris was corrupt, maybe you Justice Five or whatever you clowns call yourself now should rethink that name."
Wakiya and Garland took out their launchers, tonfa and standard ripcord, ready for Apollon and Wyvern to duke it out.
Tensions were getting really high between everyone involved when Valt and Kai had to rush in to get everyone to chill out.
Daina and Kensuke wonder about Shu.
"If he's not with us-"
"Then that means he's our-"
"That's everyone from Team 8. Give a round for their team, the Beigoma All Stars!"
After a brief intermission, Hanami asked for the future arrivals to hurry up. The ceremony was going to begin and they needed to hurry up.
"Now, for the leader of the Ninth team to come out, Shu Kurenai."
The other Beigoma members barring Valt gasped. He just smiled as his eternal rival showed his face.
The tournament selection was just full of surprises.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
