Jennie's POV

"It's great seeing you again" Kai says while we're walking out of the room that the meeting was held

"I hope we can still catch up next time" he said as I just nod and smile back at him

".Jennie" Mr. Kang said when we went out and Kai immediately bowed to greet him. Kai knows Mr. Kang since he's been working with me for a long time

"It's great seeing you again Jennie. I'll go ahead, Mr. Kang drive safely" he said before walking to the other way as I just watch him walk away.

"Jennie" Mr. Kang speaks out getting my attention "where's Lisa? " he said making my eyes go wide as I look behind to look for her and I was about to walk inside again when Mr. Kang stopped me by holding my arm

"I took her home earlier" he answered his own question "you didn't seem to notice that a guard held her back when you're entering just cause they don't know Lisa" he said immediately sending a pain in my chest as I didn't know that Lisa wasn't around since we got in cause my attention was all in Kai

"Is she alright? " I immediately asked and he nodded

"Jackson called me after Lisa and he found out so he told me to drive Lisa back to your hotel to let her rest" he said. I looked up and closed my eyes as a huge pang hit my chest once again.

"Mr. Kang please search for the organizer of the meeting. I'd like to talk to the security team" I said sighing and furrowing my brows as I crossed my arms. Mr. Kang walks away leaving me with a couple of our guards around me.

Mr. Kang went back with a group of security guards and one female in her formal attire

"Ms. Kim may I help you? " she asked with a smile on her face. I looked at her with a serious face wiping the smile out of her face.

"Did one of your guards took a person out of the people coming in earlier? " I asked in a calm voice but putting authority in it

"We didn't Ms. Kim" she said almost stuttering. I rolled my eyes and stood up straight to look more intimidating

"I'm giving you 5 seconds, to tell the truth, or I'll make sure to get every one of you fired at the end of the night" I said raising my voice a bit and the girl immediately pointed out a guy on the far left

"He took out a woman cause we don't know her Miss Kim" she says making me scoff

"You don't fucking know who my girlfriend is? " I shouted startling each one of them and everyone immediately bowed down 90°

"We're deeply sorry Miss Kim please forgive us" she said while still bowing down

"Mr. Kang please inform their boss about this one. Let's go" I said and my bodyguards started escorting me out of the building

I open up the door of our hotel room and saw two beds inside

"Lisa paid for the room. The one reserved for the both of you has one bed and she told me you might feel uncomfortable so she paid for another hotel room " Mr. Kang said making me sigh once again as I nod at him and told him that he can rest already. I walk towards my bed and take a seat as I'm facing Lisa who's already asleep on the other bed. I don't know how long have I stared at her until my phone rings so I grab it seeing Jackson's name so I walk towards the bathroom to keep the noise out of the room.

"Oppa why'd you call? " I asked looking at the mirror in front of me

"Did you see Jongin? " he immediately asked making my eyes fall to the tiles of the bathroom

"Yes" I simply answered

"You left Lisa behind " he stated making me sigh as the same aching of my chest returned at the thought of spending almost 3 hours on the meeting without noticing Lisa's disappearance

"I didn't know... I feel so bad" I honestly said sighing again

"You should" he said with disappointment lingering on his voice "I booked 2 flights back to Korea first thing in the morning. If you want to stay there and catch up with that guy then let Lisa come home, I'll fetch her if I have to. " he said in all seriousness which is so not common for Jackson

"I'll go home with Lisa" I said

"Stop including Lisa with these Jennie. " he pleaded "Lisa deserves so much better Jennie... You know that. She can be here attending her classes but you chose to drag her with you to every country you go to. If you'll just do something as stupid as leaving Lisa behind without you knowing just because your attention is on someone who left you a long time ago then cut this shit" he said in a pissed tone but still calm "I told you during Lisa's birthday that if you can't do it right and you'll just put Lisa into something miserable then just let her go. I should've not suggested that you'll be girlfriends with Lisa if I knew that this'll come. " he paused while I just closed my eyes from feeling way too bad about this "I'll call Lisa tomorrow morning so I can keep her from talking to you. She must've felt bad about what happened. I'll give you time to think about what you did and apologize to Lisa once you're in the airplane "he said and started bidding goodbye before he hangs up
