(Ratchet pov ~while omega supreme is in construction~)
I sighed rubbing my helm stressed about the newest responsibility laid on my shoulder plates. I'm just a field medic! I decided to do some exploring within the ship-er- bot that I had to teach.. yeah.
I soon laid my optics upon a femme working at a control panel. No one should be in here yet.
"And you exactly are you supposed to be?" I growled in a snappy tone
She turned from the panel with a hum, "Doing my job? Checking weapon systems?"
"I thought I was the only bot who had authorization to this section." I spoke, "Your designation and your superior. Now."
She raised a brow, "Well you're a cocky one ain't cha?" The propellers on her back twitching annoyedly, "I am the weapons expert for Project Omega. Head Lieutenant (y/n) your dictatorship." She spoke in a snappy tone, "Now can I continue my work ?"
"I-I umm.." I stammered earning a harder glare from the femme
"I know who you are Just because you got the activation codes does mean you can treat one of the heads of your selected crew like scrap." She marched forward jamming a digit into my chassis, "Are we clear?"
I swallowed thickly and nodded her derma twitched and she marched back over to the control panel and I jumped feeling a servo on my shoulder plate. I looked over at the mech.
"Don't mind ol' (y/n) used to be a part of the Ice Shards. And as you can see she is a cold glitch." He chuckled, "Aspen, your strategic advisor. Nice to meet ya." He offer me a servo
I absentmindedly took it and shook it limply my gaze on the femme. I found myself oddly drawn to her, like I need to know more about her.

"Can I see (Y/n)'s file?" I asked looking at the Amber mech
He paused, "(Y/n) doesn't have one. And she wants it that way.."
~
I watched the femme working in the training room battling several training bots. Her battle mask up a wicked painted fanged grin across it. I couldn't help but watch her flood movements the way her optics narrowed under her visor. From what I heard she's been in there for several megacycles and does this all the time.
After she threw one of the training bots over her shoulder she stiffened and fell to her knee joints. Her battle mask snapped away and she began to upchuck the inners of her tanks.
I jolted up and rushed in despite Aspen trying to stop me. I pushed through the door and rushed to her side. Upon placing my servo at the top of her backstruts she flinched at the touch and snapped her helm up to me a few trails of vomit trailing down her chin.
"What's wrong!?" I asked worried, "Do you have a parasite!?" I asked scanning her
She was quick to push me away, "I'm fine ratchet." She snapped, "And I don't need your help."
She stood up wobbling, and I quickly grabbed her servo, "You are not fine."
(Y/n) yanked it away, "Yes I am Ratchet!"
She stormed off as Aspen walked in and clicked his glossa at me.
"She'll be in a mood for the next several cycles." He sighed
~
"You can't hit him (y/n)!" Aspen shouted as she adjusted the scope
"I can and will." She growled setting up the stand and leaning into the gun, "Now shut up I need to focus." She glowered aiming at the fleeing Cons

There was a tense moment of silence as she narrows her optics. She fired and the target bot went straight down. She stood and brushed some dust from her shoulder plate.
"And you doubted me~" she teased placing her gun on her shoulder
As she passed me I shakily smiled, "Nice job..."
She gave me a small smile, "Thank you ratchet."
~
I paced nervously before her quarters. What will she say?... What will she think?... I can't do this... but as fate would have it she opened her door and jumped seeing me.
"Hello sir." She spoke quickly collecting herself
I swallowed heavily, "Umm... H-hi (y-y/n)..."
"Are you ok Ratchet? You look like you're about to blow a gasket.." she spoke concerned pressing the back of her servo to my forehelm
I flushed more under the touch and stammered, "I-ah... (y/n)..."
She hummed looking at me, the scars across her derma still fresh. I looked away trying not to get swept away in her beauty. I murmured and pushed the bouquet into her arms.
"Ratchet?" She asked confused, "Are these for me?"
I nodded slightly, "Your... your just so lovely..."
I felt a small kiss place in my cheek plate, "Thank you Ratchet."
I looked at her blushing harder she gave me a smile, "I have grown to like you as well, Ratchet."
"So... umm... some high grade on the observation deck... later.. tonight?" I asked nervously
She chuckled, "I would greatly enjoy that Ratchet."

This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
