《Cubits Can't Save You Now (In Progress)》Chapter 18: Nixel, Nixel, Go Away

Cut to a medium shot of the orange nixels on the skyscraper.
"Hey, what's with those guys?" Questioned a katana-wielding orange mixel.
"Hmm. They call themselves Nixels." Said a snake-like orange mixel.
"Nixels? That name sounds familiar." The humanoid orange mixel said to himself.
The humanoid orange mixel forms an aura ball, which spreads out into the air. Various pictures of Nixels are shown as he slides through them.
"Ah, here it is, nixels. It seems we have met before." Said the humanoid orange mixel.
He stops at a picture of the Nindjas Max against King Nixel.
"King Nixel. Now what brings you to Mixopolis?" Said the humanoid orange mixel.
Cut back to a medium shot of the Glowkies, where we see Globert was attempting to listen onto the orange mixels.
"..They know King Nixel!" Gasped Globert.
"..Somehow."
The other two Glowkies now seem confused since Globert literally had no point in mentioning that the orange mixels knew King Nixel.
"What does that have to do with those guys?" Asked Vampos.
"Well, who knows King Nixel best? A nixel. Either that or someone working for a nixel." Guessed Globert.
"But if those orange nixels worked for King Nixel, then that could only mean they're.." Globert gasped again as he thought he solved his own theory.
"QUICK! WE HAVE TO STOP THOSE MIXELS BEFORE THEY DESTROY THIS PLACE!" Shouted Globert.
And now, Vampos and Boogly were even more confused. Weren't mixels usually good, not evil? Boogly suggested Globert that he should calm down, but Globert tells his tribemates that this is an emergency, and that the orange mixels are about to destroy the unknown city if the Glowkies don't do anything.
"Now come on, we have to go!" Said Globert.
Before the other two Glowkies could tell Globert that his theory is not actually true, Globert already headed off, so then the two decided to follow Globert since Globert was the leader of the Glowkies. However, when they got to the top of the skyscraper, Globert shouted five words first.

"Not so fast, traitor boys!" Warned Globert.
"You dare work for King Nixel just to destroy this CITY?"
The orange mixels turned towards the Glowkies upon hearing Globert's demanding question.
"Excuse me?" Asked the snake-like orange mixel.
"I'm Vampos." Interrupted Vampos.
"Eh- I'm Boogly!" Introduced Boogly.
"Puh-lease! I was having a dramatic moment!" Complained Globert.
"And I'm Globert."
(A/N: This is a callback to when the Glowkies met the Orbitons and Infernite Cousins in Mixel Moon Madness.)
"..Globert, what did you hear to think of us that way?" Asked the humanoid orange mixel.
In response, he told the orange mixels his theory about why he thinks the orange mixels work for King Nixel in great detail, which made the snake-like orange mixel burst laughing at the fact that Globert would believe such a thing just because a group of nixels know about a villian.
"Not gonna lie, I think you heard it wrong." The katana-wielding orange mixel told Globert.
"We're trying to save Mixopolis from King Nixel, not help him destroy it."
"That's the phrase all traitors say, 'we're trying to do something good, not help the villian'! It's really cliche, even." Protested Globert.
"..Boogly suggest we go, this is getting awkward." Said Boogly.
"Uh, yeah. Do you even know if they're telling the truth or not?" Vampos asked Globert.
The humanoid orange mixel agreed with Vampos, and turned towards Globert, disappointment in the Glowkie leader visible in his face, but the humanoid orange mixel knew to not judge him for what he thought about the orange mixels.
"Now if you'll excuse us, we have to keep track of what the enemy is doing." Said the humanoid orange mixel.
The orange mixels then went back to watching King Nixel in the black skyscraper. Globert still didn't believe that the orange mixels were good, but Vampos and Boogly really wanted Globert to stop believing his theory that he just came up with.

*Commercial Break*
Suddenly, the orange mixels noticed four colored dots in an alleyway from afar. Those colored dots were four mixels who were making a nixel disguise.
"It appears the Nixels are behind this I-Cubit mystery." The humanoid orange mixel said to himself.
Cut to the Nixels swarming the streets, with the Nindjas looking down.
"Man, they're poised to take control of the city." Noted the snake-like orange mixel.
"Not if we have anything to say about it! What next, Mysto?" Asked the katana-wielding orange mixel.
"That structure is where they seem to be headquartered. That is where we shall make our move." Noted the humanoid orange mixel as he pointed at the black skyscraper.
The Nindjas theme song plays as the humanoid orange mixel throws a grappling hook at the building, and the three zipline to the roof, with the main Glowkies following them, only the Glowkies were flying instead of ziplining.
"You really must be caught up in your theory about us." The humanoid orange mixel said to Globert.
"I'm not falling for your tricks for your information." Globert told the humanoid orange mixel.
"For the first and hopefully last time, he and his tribe are not evil, Globert." Groaned Vampos.
"Well, you don't know that for sure!" Globert told Vampos.
The orange mixels climb up the decoration (meanwhile, the Glowkies fly up the decoration) and then both tribes slip through the window, landing on the ground. However, both of the tribes found something quite surprising. Cut to a large group of Nixels staring them down and encircling them.
"I haven't found this many nixels in my entire life!" Worried Globert.
"Sorry, fellas. But I'm afraid we can't allow you to unmix Mixopolis." The katana-wielding orange mixel told the Nixels.
"Though you are great in number, you are no match for the Nindjas!" The humanoid orange mixel warned the Nixels.
The Nixels combine into a large robotic composite, letting out a roar. Cut back to the orange mixels and the Glowkies.
"Time to max!" Shouted the humanoid orange mixel as he threw an orange and black cubit in the air.
The orange mixels shouted "MAX!", and then the Max of the orange mixels is formed, brandishing his katanas towards the Nixel beast. He then charges at the beast afterwards.
"NINDJA-A-A!" Yelled the orange mixel Max.
The max sliced the nixels off of the Nixel beast, but the Nixels kept climbing back onto the Nixel beast.
"..That's their tribe name?" Globert asked himself.
The Glowkies pause before maxing as well, and then they joined the fight against the Nixel beast. The beast falls into a pile, scooping the Max up in a Nixel tidal wave, causing the Nindjas to land on the ground as Nixels rain down on him. The Nindjas Max and the Glowkies Max continue to slice at the Nixels, but they eventually engulfed entirely by the nixels, until the Glowkies Max split and Boogly managed to escape the black skyscraper, even if he did get two nixels hanging on his back legs without him knowing. Even though only one of the main Glowkies prevented himself from getting nixed, that didn't mean he wouldn't face a bigger threat.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

I would even call it 'The immortal snail problem'. Improvisational writing. I will try to make small irregular updates. There may be polls. Enjoy.

The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
