"Twenty fucking minutes late." Valentine mumbled angrily.
Don't get him wrong, he wasn't mad that Jake was late but his day hasn't exactly been the best. He had been looking forward to this.
Valentine sighed and open his phone going to text and ask Jake where he was.
He strolled till he got to pup before two guy he recognized as the few homophobic duchbags of school came rolling in just looking for trouble.
Valentine was not in a good mood for this.
The guys eyes landed on him and like Valentine predicted the walked right up to him.
"What's up fairy." One guy said, his jab not even close to pricing Valentine strong armor.
"1 out if 10, If your going to insult me at least make it good." Valentine said dismissively.
"Looks like this fairy has wing," The other guy snicker to his buddy.

Look, I have no interest in what you have to say. Do yourself a favor and fuck off." Valentine looked at the blonde guy and then the brunette.
"Is the fag getting sensitive." The blond one laugh and snatched Valentine's phone our of his hands.
"Wow, I see there's two fans in this town."
"Nah, I bed he used his fagget powers and turn him gay."
Nobody seemed to notice the flicker of red that flashed in Valentine eyes.
Taking a calming breath to stop from doing anything that would put him in jail, he stood up snatched his phone back and stopped off.
"Fuck." Valentine sneered feeling to hot and to cold all over.
"Calm down Valentine, you're better then this." He told himself pacing back and forth.
"Wow we finally got something out of the fairy."
They followed me?! Valentine looked up, it felt like things where in slow motion as the guy's suddenly went still with horror.

With eyes blazing red and sparked sizzling out of his finger tips Valentine said in a voice so deadly he could be mistaken for the devil himself "you shouldn't have followed me." before his powers when haywire.
Magic so overwhelmingly powerful the boys didn't even have a chance to scream before it was erily quite.
With any luck they weren't dead, Valentine doubted it, but that wasn't what was on his mind. What was was the boy whom looked at him with first shock, then awe, then realized.
"Your a mage." It wasn't a question, but a statement.
"I-im a what?" Valentine had to catch his breath before he fainted like his slightly blurry vision seem to want.
"A mage. A strong mage who probably didn't know mages even existed before today." Jake explained. Valentine tried to take a step towards Jake but immediately almost lost his footing.
"Val!" Jake yelled rushing over and giveing Valentine a hand.
"Let's go inside and talk, ok?" Jake asked.
"What about?..." Valentine wave a hand to the teenages on the floor.
"There alive and the stank of alcohol, they'll be fine. If someone finds them they'll think they just passed out. Let's go ok?" Valentine nodded his head and Jake lead them into the dinner.
