"So do you have any other friends?" Draco asked Hermione kindly. "Not really, only you. Everyone in Gryffindor likes me because I get points for our house but no one is really my friend." Hermione frowned at the thought of having no one in her house. "It's ok, you have me." He placed his hand on top of hers and smiled. "I really only have you too. The others aren't really true friends." They say there enjoying each other's company. "I'm thankful to have you Draco." She said leaning into his shoulder to rest her head. "Me too Hermione." He responded and rested his head on top of hers.
----------------------------------
Hermione sat up in her bed waking up from her dream memory. She was now 14 not 11. She smiled to herself getting dressed to go to Diagon Alley to meet up with Draco to go somewhere else. "Be right back mum, I'm going to get Draco." And with that she was out the chimney with floo powder.
When she got there she saw Draco waiting for her. "Where are we going thst no one will see us?" He asked impatiently. Hermione pulled him with her and went back to her house. "Hello Mr. And Mrs. Granger." Draco greeted Hermione's parents.
"Mum, dad can we go to the stores so he can look around. Please." Hermione begged while her mum nodded. "Wow what is this? It has grains of something on top and liquid coming out?" She hear Draco ask her father in the kitchen. "That is the coffee maker. I do t know how it works but it does." Her father explained as Hermione watched. "Draco come on I want to show you my books." Draco followed Hermione to her room where she had lots and lots of books. "This is my favorite book." She gave him a book titled The Beauty and the Beast . "Can I come over before the start of the term and read some of your books?" He asked as he flipped through the pages. She eagerly nodded. "Yes that'll be wonderful."

"Kids come on let's go!" Hermione's father yelled from the living room. They hurried getting in the car. Soon enough they arrived at the store where Draco was asking all sorts of questions about muggle things. Hermione kindly answered every one of those questions. They kept walking around talking and talking. Arguing about the stupidest things like how to pronounce a word. "It's just like that time when you were in charms with Ron correcting him. I'm not going to win when I argue with you am I? Fine you win you win." He put his hands up in surrender. A old lady looked at them with amusement, "you two remind me of how I was with my husband. What a cute couple." Both of their cheeks blushed. "Oh n-" Hermione started saying before being cut off my two strong arms hugging her, "why thank you." Draco said. Hermione gave him an are-you-serious look. "Oh young love so adorable." The lady said walking away. "What was that about?" Hermione asked Draco. "Well I didn't want to upset or make an old lady feel guilty for assuming things." He explained. "Come on let's go meet up with your parents so we can go home. My parents should be home in a few." Hermione nodded and went off to find her parents. After they got home Draco asked her parents if he could come over another day and they gladly accepted. He said his goodbye and went home. He never had this much fun in his life with muggle things.
A few days later he went back to Hermione's house. As promised they read and read her books. The sat on her bed and took turns reading out loud. "Draco, guess what." She suddenly interrupted their reading. " your actually a pureblood and we don't have to hide our friendship anymore?" Hermione rolled her eyes playfully, "No but I wish. Ronald's parents invited me and Harry to go watch a Quidditch game!" Draco looked up at her, "I'm going too. I wish I was going with you even if it was with Potter and Weasley." Hermione nodded. "I have to go Hermione, my parents should be arriving home soon." He got up and began walking towards the door when Hermione hugged his torso from behind. He turned around and hugged her. "Bye Draco see you in school." She mumbled under her breath. "Mione, I found this room last year and not a lot of people know about it, maybe we can hang out there for our free period if we have it together." He informed her and she nodded excited. They let go of each other and he went back to the manor.

"Come on Ronald wake up. You too Harry. How many times do I have to come up to do this?" Hermione tried waking them up once again so they could get going. "I love Draco Malfoy." She abruptly said. "Bloody he'll Hermione what did you say?" Ron got up from bed with a jump. She giggled, "I knew that would work."
They started walking to an old boot. That ended up being a portkey to go to the game. By the time we were climbing the stairs to go to get to our seats we saw Mr.Malfoy and Draco. His face softened when he saw her but it went back to a scowl so no one else would notice. Draco finished gloating about their seats to the Weasleys and Harry and left but he gave a small smile to Hermione and she returned it hoping no one would notice.
The game was awesome and everything seemed fun. That was until the attack happened. Everyone was running and screaming.
Hermione was like looking for Harry when she felt someone grab her arm. She recognized the platinum hair of the person who was grabbing her. "Draco what are you doing? I need to find Harry." Draco looked at her as if he was trying to make a decision. "I'll find him I promise just please go to the Weasleys stay safe. Please." Hermione nodded and left while Draco went off to find Harry. "Potter!" He screamed. A lot of people were already away. He saw a raven haired guy and someone with a cloak on pointing at Harry. He tried his best to make a fake voice, "Harry behind you!" He yelled. The cloaked figure disappeared just like that. He watched closely to make sure Harry was safe. Then he saw a green cloud forming above and steps coming closer. He left once he saw that it was the Ministry of Magic Officials.
"Harry what happened?" Hermione asked her friend. "Someone saved me." He simply said which made her smile because she knew who it was. After he got asked a few questions by the Ministry they went to the Burrow.
