There were 6 quick knocks on the door. Angela ran to open it. Jenny was standing there wearing a black coat and some boots with a gift bag.
"Merry Christmas Angela." She squealed. They hugged and Angela stepped back. "Is that for me?"Jenny smiled. "Yep it's for you!" She handed it to Angela.
Angela opened the top and squealed. There was a best friend shirt in there.
"And I have the same one! We can wear them everywhere we go now!"
Angela smiled. "So what do you want to do?"
Jenny shrugged. "I don't care. It's your house."
Angela thought for a minute. "Did you bring your iPad."
Jenny held it up. "Yep."
They went to the Living Room and plopped on the couch. Jenny accidently sat on Sally.
"What is that?" Jenny asked. She leaned over and pulled out Sally. "Oh wow it's a doll."
She threw Sally up in the air over and over.
Angela snatched Sally away. "No don't do that!"
Jenny laughed. "Why, is she going to do something to me?" She burst out laughing and rolled on the floor.
Angela turned to her. "I'm not joking. Don't say anything about her. She's real. And she can talk to me."
Jenny shook her head. "Okay fine then, whatevs. Hey let's go to your room!"
Angela set Sally on the floor and whispered "Don't worry Sally, she was just kidding. I'll see you after she leaves."
As they went up the stairs, Sally sat up and watched them as she formed a plan in her head.
********
They were in Angela's room playing with their phones when Jenny said "Angela can I go get a drink?"
Angela said "Yeah sure. Go down the stairs and just keep going to the right and the kitchen is right there."
Jenny jumped up and ran out the room. Angela was mindlessly tapping when suddenly she heard a scream followed by many bumps.
She got up and ran out the door and then started running down the stairs. When she got to the bottom, she screamed.
Jenny was at the bottom.
