《Her Boyfriend's Girlfriend (GirlXGirl)》Chapter 6

Peyton could not believe her eyes. Yet, at the same time she could. This is something she would expect from Adam. She just did not expect to actually see it. Right in front her eyes! With a girl she seems to be unintentionally infatuated with!
She turned to Kimberly wondering why she said or did nothing as yet. She got her answer. Kimberly was fast asleep.
She could not explain it to herself but she was feeling hurt. Why? I know he flirts around and makes out with random girls... I don't even like him! So why is this bothering me?
As she looked on at the two before her she realised that this was more than just some girl he's flirting with or having a random fuck date with. She knows about those as well. She's not dumb. An eighteen year old boy with a girlfriend who wouldn't even kiss him must fuck around behind her back. Hell, even if he was getting sex from her he would still fuck around. He's a guy! And that's what most guys are like; as far as Peyton is concerned. Anyhow, it seems like they're actually in a relationship!
Maybe I'm wrong... maybe he's not Adam...
No sooner she thought that, the guy leaned in again and kissed the girl on her neck causing her to giggle and push him away, "not now Adam... when we get home okay?"
Holy fuck! It is him!
Without putting any thought on the matter, Peyton pulled out her phone and dialed Adam's number. Sure enough, the guy in front of her pulled out his phone. Ha! I caught you, you dumb ass!
Not quite sure what she was going to say yet, Peyton nevertheless took in a breath and opened her mouth prepared to say something when Adam answered. To her shock and dismay he did not answer. As a matter of fact, he rejected her call and pushed his phone back in his pocket.

It all became unbearable at that point. She shook Kimberly awake, "Kimmy, Kimmy! I wanna go home. Now!" She whispered best she could so as not to draw attention to them.
"Hey, look, you were right." Kimberly said pointing to Adam.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Let's go! Please!"
"Okay okay! Fine!" Kimberly said as she got up and was then dragged out of the cinema by Peyton before she got a chance to look at Adam properly.
When they were back in the car and on their way Kimberly spoke, "what was that all about?"
"Nothing."
"Awww... come on boo. Talk to me."
Peyton said nothing.
"Is it 'cause you saw that the girl really does have a boyfriend?"
Peyton shrugged not caring that Kimberly could not see since she was focused on the road.
"Well I think it is. Don't worry, there'll be plenty of other girls."
"Kimberly! Just drop it! Please!"
Kimberly frowned. Something is definitely bothering Peyton and with the attitude she's having right now, it will be a very long time before she opens up about it. All Kimberly can do is be supportive and not push her.
The remainder of the ride was silent. Not even music was played.
Peyton was fine with that because she needs time to process everything and understand why she is being such a freak about this whole thing. Maybe it's the fact that he's actually cheating on me... he has a whole other girlfriend... I wonder how long they've been together? I wonder if she knows the kind of person he really is? I wonder if she will like me? Okay... this needs to stop! She's just another girl! How many pretty girls have you seen and liked? She's just another one of them! But there's just something about her... Shut up!!!
"Hey boo, we're here..." Kimberly's voice came in handy to tear her away from her thoughts which were going way off course.

Peyton looked up to see her house. She did not even fully realise that they had left the cinema's parking lot. She turned to Kimberly who looked at her with a concerned expression.
"Don't worry Kimmy, I'm fine. Well, I will be. Just... give me some time okay?"
Kimberly nodded and pulled her in for a tight hug. When she let her go she said, "thanks for trusting me with all that information today. You know it stays right here." Kimberly put her hand on her chest and then continued, "and don't worry, you know I won't push you. But just remember that I am here whenever you're ready to talk about it okay boo?"
Peyton smiled and nodded after a couple tears ran down her cheeks. "I know. Thanks Kimmy. For everything."
Kimberly wiped her tears away and placed a kiss on her cheek. A normal action for them but this time it left them both with huge blushes. They started laughing at the same time and then said their final goodbyes while Peyton left the car.
Feeling on top of the world again, Peyton bounced into the house only to be deflated the moment she closed the door. "Where the fuck have you been young lady?!"
Peyton took a deep breath and turned to face her mother, "I was out with Kimmy."
"And what the fuck were the two of you doing?"
"Nothing! We had lunch and watched a movie. When they come up with a charge for that crime let me know." Peyton knew better than to walk off, that would make things much worse than she's making them right now. So she stood her ground and stared back at her mother, matching the intensity of her mother's glare.
Her mother's hand collided with her face for the umpteenth time this month; thank goodness her mother does not work out and is not very strong - she could barely open a soft drink bottle. I guess she's one of those 'helpless, delicate ladies who must have a man do everything for her'. Peyton snickered to herself. "Then why are you blushing like a fucking jackass?!"
"I'm not blushing. My cheek is red 'cause you hit me. Duh!"
"If I only find out you are carrying about any lesbian activity you will be sorry you were ever born!"
"I already am sorry. You should have aborted me when you had the chance." Peyton said looking away from her mother now and focusing on the steps that she longed to climb so that she could lock herself in her room and wait until tomorrow when she could immerse herself in learning something new at school. Imagine that, Peyton couldn't wait to be in school!
With a quick shove, her mother walked past her saying, "get out of my sight you good for nothing, waste of a human life!"
Peyton quickly walked away, ascending the stairs two at a time. When she was at the top her mother yelled out, "and next time that lovely boy comes to take you on a date you better be here and not with that idiot friend of yours!"
"She's not an idiot! She the best person in the world!" Peyton's words were useless because her mother was already gone but she said them anyhow because she could never let anyone insult Kimberly without correcting them. Whether or not they heard or cared. It mattered to her.
Feeling lower than a whiteline on a road now, Peyton dragged herself to her room and shut her door making certain she locked it. She lacked the energy or desire to do anything so she shuffled over to her bed and crawled in. Against her will, her mother's words repeated and echoed in her head until she cried herself to sleep.
