After some back and forth, they finally decided on a movie. As they stood in line to get some snacks Kimberly decided to ask a question she was dying to ask since she found out that her best friend is gay. "So, Peyton... I know you have a crush on me so aside from me and my gorgeous self, what kind of girl is your type?"

Peyton didn't have to think for long, if at all, "basically girls like you... you know, with long hair, glasses, likes to dress up and wear makeup and all that jazz."

Peyton never cared for makeup on herself but she's always adored it on a girl. Well not when they over do it, it has to be just right. She tends to always find the so called "girly-girls" exceedingly attractive. Not the helpless kind of girls though, just the very feminine ones. Which is exactly the kind of girl Kimberly is.

"Oh, so you like blind 'girly-girls' then?" Kimberly said flipping her hair and giving a slight model-like pose with a smile to boot.

"Kimmy! You're embarrassing!" Peyton whined although she was sporting a sizeable blush. "I don't even know why I still like you, you never even wear your glasses!"

"They're too cumbersome! Maybe I'll get contacts... Anywho, do you see a girl in here that you like? Beside me of course."

"You're going to milk this crush thing now aren't you?"

"Yep!" Kimberly said with a pop of the 'p'. "You can't blame me though, it's very flattering!"

Peyton smiled and decided to play along. She looked around but no one in particular caught her attention. She gave her signature head shake.

"Okay, well when you do let me know."

"Why? You gonna hook me up?"

"Maybe..."

Peyton rolled her eyes and laughed she knows Kimberly would never do that because, well, it's something that Peyton would not like and Kimberly knows that. They remained silent until they got up to the counter and ordered. All this time Peyton felt so happy. She has never been this happy in her life. It's almost as if she's on top of the world! Maybe it's the fact that I finally told Kimmy the truth. Or maybe it's the fact that I fucking made out with Kimmy!!!! Yep, I think that's it.

As they began heading to their theatre Peyton's eyes fell upon the most beautiful girl she has ever seen. Even more beautiful than Kimberly. Yes, believe it or not she saw a girl who she thought topped Kimberly in looks!

"Hey, you okay?" Kimberly asked because Peyton's pace had slowed to a crawl and she was staring off into the distance.

Peyton nodded with her mouth slightly open and then came to a stop.

The girl wore the cutest floral patterned sundress that fell just above her knees with a wide, contrasting coloured belt just below her bust. With it, she wore the most gorgeous pair of sandals which strapped halfway up her calves and matched her belt. To top it off, she had a small purse strung on her shoulder which almost camouflaged with the dress. Last but not least, she wore just enough makeup to be noticeable but not enough to look like a clown.

Peyton continued looking at the girl who was intently reading the menu, or rather squinting at the menu. She dug around in her purse and then pulled out a pair of glasses which she set gracefully upon her nose. Peyton could not stop herself from letting out a small gasp at this action.

"Oh my god!!!" Kimberly squealed in her ear.

"Owww!! Kimmy!!!"

"Peyton's got a new crush!!" Kimberly repeated in a sing-song voice while nudging her friend with her shoulder since her hands were full.

Peyton turned away from the magnificent sight and flippantly said, "ehh... she ain't all that. Plus, she's obviously on a date anyhow."

Kimberly saw past her statement and knew just how much Peyton likes that girl. From what she just told me, that chick checks all of her boxes! Peyton is so in love! Kimberly chuckled to herself. As much as she would love to do something about it, for Peyton's sake, she knew she could not... Peyton would hate her for meddling. But then again, sometimes you've got to do what's best for the other person. Nah... she'd hate me. It's best if I leave things as they are. But it's not going to stop me from wishing really really hard that somehow Peyton ends up talking to that girl!

The commercials were playing when they entered their theatre. They chose seats in the back row opposite the door and made themselves comfortable. They always sat there since it was easiest to leave from there at the end or if they needed to go to the bathroom during the movie.

Peyton began munching on her popcorn and watching the advertisements. For some reason, she enjoys advertisements just as much as movies.

"Kimmy!" She cried out in a whisper when her friend nudged her repeatedly causing the popcorn in her hand which she was trying to put in her mouth, to fall.

Kimberly continued nudging her without explanation.

"What?!" Peyton cried once more. "What is so important that you..." Peyton stopped talking the moment she looked up and saw what Kimberly was looking at. Or rather, who she was looking at.

It was that girl from the line walking towards the entrance to their theatre. Peyton was no longer irritated with her friend. As a matter of fact, she was grateful. Her eyes followed the girl into the theatre and stayed with her as she looked around for a seat. After much deliberation, she ended up sitting right in front of Kimberly; giving Peyton a very good view of her. Peyton suddenly felt nervous and excited all over her being. She felt her phone vibrate so without tearing her eyes away from the girl, she fished out her phone. When she finally looked down she saw it was a text from Kimberly. 

"Really Kimmy?" She whispered.

"What? I can't say what I want to!"

Peyton rolled her eyes and read the message:

Just know that I am squealing extremely loud on the inside!!! You have to talk to her!!!

Peyton glanced at the girl before responding:

I am too!!! But I can't... she's on a date!

How do you know that?

Just look at her! She's obviously waiting for someone. Plus, I highly doubt she's gone through all that trouble to look that fine to come to the cinema on a Sunday afternoon by herself! Think Kimmy think!

I guess you're right... And then again, I don't see her eating ALL that popcorn and drinking that WHOLE drink all by herself...

Yes the movie was starting but that didn't really matter to Peyton. Her real reason for ending that conversation is so that she can have her own private movie watching the girl eat her popcorn and sip on her drink. Everything she did was so seductive and sensual in Peyton's eyes.

Somewhere around twenty minutes or so into the movie Peyton noticed the girl got a text which she smiled at when she read it. For some insane reason that made Peyton jealous. You should be smiling at something I tell you... not him. WAIT! What the fuck Peyton?! She took a few deep breaths and shook her head. I'm going fucking crazy!

A couple minutes after, a guy walked in, sat right in front of Peyton and leaned in for a long kiss with the girl. Peyton could not stop herself from staring daggers into the guy's head. Why does he look familiar? She wondered to herself as she looked on disgustedly while he sucked on the girl's face.

Only when he straightened up and said to the girl, "hey babe, sorry I'm late. Got stuck in traffic." did she realise who he was. She has heard that same line a million times before; from that same voice!
