《How to be a dragon [HTTYD Fanfiction] [Toothcup]》Chapter 5

After Toothless finished the training and I helped him from Astrid, we went to the cove to hang out. While we were on the way there I could smell something sweet like the grass I really like. Cat nip.
I ran to the direction quickly and saw the field of cat nip. I roared and jumped in quickly. I really liked the sweet smell of it. It made me lost in blissful haze. Toothless walked in curiously to see me rolling on the bunch of grass.
"What's with the cat nip?" He asked.
"It feels very good!!" I replied and purred loudly.
"That good?" Toothless said and chuckled. He looked amused "You look like a cat. That's kinda cute"
"This is how you feel when you're a dragon" I answered and blushed.
"Oh? So this glass works on every dragon?" Toothless said and picked up some cat nip.
I nodded as a yes and got up from the grass. "That was so pleasurable. Every dragon likes it" I said. "Sometimes I get drunks haha.."
"So it's like ale, huh?" Toothless said.
"You could say that" I said and chuckled
We continued walking the our cove and when we got there I summoned my wings and tail before taking off to the sky with Toothless in my grips.
"Ahh!!!" He screamed. "Hiccup!!"
"It's okay! I have you!" I grinned and held him around his waist. Such romantic.
I started to fly around the island and Toothless started to get use to it. He laughed and cheered. "This is so fun! Definitely a freedom!" Toothless yelled. "This is how the dragons feel?"
I smiled and blushed a bit. The plan was successful. I almost won his heart. "You know what?"
"What is that I know?" Toothless asked in curiosity.
I trusted him enough to tell him that I could shift into a full dragon form. He was my mate after all. He would know someday anyone "I can shift into a dragon form" I said.
"Really?" He asked.
I flew up higher and threw him into the air and then shift quickly in a black dragon before grabbing him with my paws and threw him up to my neck, placing him on my neck.
Toothless was still stunned and shocked. "You know that you can say now" I said teasingly.
"Ah...that was insane!!" Toothless screamed I was going to apologize him but he said "I liked that!" Oh okay.. "But wait. How could you talk to me when you're in this form?"

"It was telepathic talk" I replied. Having him so close to me, I didn't have to focus much.
"Man...Hiccup? Are you a Night Fury?" Toothless said and patted my neck.
"We, dragons call it Night Stealth" I said.
"Wow... This is amazing, Hiccup" Toothless exclaimed quietly. "Thank you"
I felt my dragon cheek burned up and chuckled. "Anything for you" I said.
-----------------------------------
Looking at the dark forest, I was worried about Toothless again. He was supposed to be at home this time now. Since when he acted like this, I didn't know. Right now, I was walking through the forest to the cove I had found him yesterday. He might be there with Hatch again.
I walked into the beautiful gleaming cove. The moon light made it really amazing. I heard a loud thud then I turned quickly to see Toothless jumping off the dragon's neck. I quickly hid behind the rock.
"Thanks Hiccup. That was really fun. And thanks for the sword you made for me too" I nearly gasped at the name 'Hiccup'. What was Toothless saying about. And why did he ride a dragon.
"You're welcome Toothless" I heard the voice of Hatch. Toothless was talking with Hatch? But why did he call Hatch 'Hiccup'.
With that I moved out of the rock and said "Toothless?"
They startled and turned at me quickly. I couldn't believe what I saw. Hatch had a pair of beautiful icy wings and icy dragon tail. My mouth hung opened and couldn't find a word to say.
"Uh... Mom. I can explain!!" Toothless said quickly and then turned to Hatch "Snap out of already. Hi- Hatch"
"O-Oh..." Hatch stuttered and then the wings and tail were melted. "H-how much you did you see? And heard?" He asked me.
I closed my mouth and gulped before saying "W-well.. Umm Let's start from the beginning. I was finding Toothless. I decided to come here because it was the first place Toothless would be with you. So when I entered. I saw Toothless on a dragon, so thy I quickly hid behind the rock. Then I heard Toothless said 'Thanks Hiccup that was really fun. And thanks for the sword you made for me' I stepped out after that"
"Oh Hella..." Toothless murmured. "O-okay mom. I'll explain everything. But first don't ask anything till I'm done. And don't tell anyone about this. not even Dad. Can you promise?"

I nodded "I... promise" I said quietly.
Hatch looked at us worriedly but he didn't say anything. He seemed scared of me when Toothless said he was going to explain.
"It's nothing to be scare Hiccup. I'm with you" Toothless said to Hat-- Hiccup. That name again. Let's hope I was wrong about what I was thinking now.
"Let's start at the beginning... I threw a bola and brought him down in the latest raid and went to find him after you told me your secret. I saw him wrapped in ropes and with curiosity I woke him up and he snarled or growled at me...something like that. I brought out a knife about to free him but he looked so afraid. I told him that I was going to free him and he obey me. When I finished cutting the ropes he pounced on me and roared fiercely at me before running away to this cove where I found him next the day. He acted a bit different from the later day but that doesn't matter anyway. When I entered the cove. I found him catching fish and then ate it. He noticed me and started to sniff at me. I asked about who he was and gave me a choking voice back. I supposed that he couldn't speak human. So he begged me to teach him by using body language instead. I taught him for two days and he finally was able to introduce his name. Then we took some sleep....it turned out too long that was when you found us. And this day... After I finished training He help me from angry Astrid and gave me this sword" Toothless said and brought out a sword that I saw. "And we went flying...well that was his idea.. We flew all day and then we here...."
"And mom..." Toothless continued "Please don't freak out..." Toothless touched Hat-- Hiccup's shoulder. "His real name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock The Third.... He's your first son.."
I gasped and looked at Hatch in disbelief. "Oh! That's why you keep using a fake name huh?" Hiccup said and nudged Toothless. "Mother!!" He yelled and crashed me into a hug.
I hugged him back tightly and cried into his shoulder "Oh my baby is back!!!"
"I've always wanted to meet my mother.." Hiccup said.
I dragged Toothless into a hug too and we stayed like that for a while. I was really happy that Hiccup was back. "What had happened to you Hiccup?"
"I can't go now because my mate is here" Hiccup said and blushed. So that was why he hadn't gone yet. I wondered who it was.
"Aww.. My son had a crush?" I teased. "Who is that girl? I bet she is Astrid"
"Actually. It's a boy" Hiccup said and chuckled nervously. "I hate her the most" He scowled at that.
"Oh.... Okay who is that boy?" I asked and saw Hiccup's face heated up with red.
"C-can we skip that please?" Hiccup said and shifted uncomfortably. "I want to keep it a secret.. until the right time to claim him"
"I bet that is Fishlegs. Anyway let's go home" I said and we walked back to the village.
----------------------------------
Walking through the forest back to the village. I kept frowning as I knew that I was angry at something. But I didn't know what it was. I couldn't push it away either. It had been there since Mom said that Fishleg would probably be Hiccup's mate. Fishlegs was a good guy though. If Hiccup was going to choose someone. It would be Fishlegs. But Hiccup was unpredictable. Who would know...he probably choose Snotlout...?
But Hiccup wouldn't do it, right? I meant... Hiccup was smart. Why would he choose such idiots? But who would he choose then? Me? No, I was his adoptive brother.
This was so confusing. I scratched my head in frustration. I wanted him so much that I wouldn't care if he was my adoptive brother "You know that you are thinking too much right?" Hiccup whispered in my ear made me startled a bit. "You will soon know who it is.." Hiccup giggled and we arrived home.
"Thanks for the suggestion.." I said and rolled my eyes. I was still upset about the fact that I didn't know what I want to know. And that guilty feeling I felt when I thought about his relationship with me. Adoptive brothers, in a relationship? Hiccup told me not to think too much, so I wouldn't think too much. I wanted to be with Hiccup. And I wouldn't think about our relation anymore.

Mage Among Superheroes
Turlough is a mage. He also happens to be an orc, generally lauded as being less intelligent than humans. He was unfortunately born with the Curse of the Barbarian, meaning that he can’t level up except through combat- which greatly hinders his ability to show he can be a proper mage. In a world with necromancers, dragons, invading armies, and all sorts of other monsters he would still be able to advance quickly, but unfortuantely… that world is not his world. An unprecedented peace reigns across the land, and in the last several decades there’s been little use for people capable of fighting- and thus little reason for people to fight him. So when he sees a portal in his master’s study he takes it, hoping to find a horde of demons or something equally foolish to combat at low level. But instead he ends up in a strange city full of skyscrapers and people running around in colorful outfits. Superheroes- and of course supervillains as well. What dangers and opportunities could await him in such a strange and unfamiliar world? Only time will tell. Inspired by many things in the superhero genre, and Super Minion specifically- though while the setting will share some standard elements, it is an original setting that will hopefully be as engaging as many of the other universes. Schedule: One chapter each Monday/Thursday, approx. 2000 words.

The Ultimate Supporter
Mona stood there, her body has stopped shaking as she stared at Sarah with no expression. “... do I have to set a goal?” Mona asked quietly. “Yes, if you do not then you will not be allowed to play Road Builder.” “...why? Why do we have to set a goal?” “This game is about inspiring people to work hard towards something that they wish to achieve. Don’t you have something you wish to achieve too ma’am?” “... I… do.” “What is your goal then ma’am?” “My goal… my goal is to become the ultimate supporter.” Feelings rushed back into Mona’s eyes as she clenched both her fists hard. “I want to help others succeed. I don’t need to be the main character. I want other people to be the main character.” Mona yelled as tears began to stream down her face. “I just… I just want to feel needed again.” Mona sniffled. Sarah looked at her with a soft expression on her face. “Is ‘I want to become the ultimate supporter’ your final choice?” Sarah asked. Mona bit on her lip as tears continued to stream down her face. She slowly nodded her head. “Alright then… this goal has been registered onto your avatar. You will soon spawn into a town and began your journey.” Sarah smiled, her eyes illuminating warmth to Mona. Mona nodded her head understanding as she wiped away the tears. A blue circle appeared around her as numbers counting down from ten appeared in front of her. 10… 9… 8… “By the way ma’am.” Sarah said. 7… 6… “Yes?” 5… 4… “I am sure you will achieve that goal, and to guarantee that, I give you my blessings.” 3… “What?” 2… “Enjoy your time in Road Builder.” 1… ********* Please point out if you notice any mistakes so that I can fix it. Also, because I re-edit this a lot so the chapters are going to come out very slowly(and because the blue tables take a while to do). Any comments and reviews are welcomed and are appreciated! Thanks for reading!

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
