I smiled as I entered my last class of the day. Drama. Ahhhh I love drama I thought to myself. I made my way over to my new friend Nam-Ra who happily greeted me as I tossed my bag down on the ground next to hers.
"Hey Y/N!" Nam-Ra happily chirped.
"Hey Nam-Ra!" I smiled back.
We both sat down in a nice place in the drama room, and got lost in conversation about random people at out school... until he came up in the conversation... Gwinam...
"Uh Nam-Ra..." I quietly whispered, speaking under my breathe so others in the class wouldn't hear me.
"Yeah?" She asked back, thankfully matching my tone.
"What do you like... know about Gwinam." I asked, looking down.
"Ummm I don't really know much. Why do you ask?" She replied. "He has a girlfriend I think. But I'm not sure if they are still together."
"Oh." I just responded looking down trying to hide my sadness.
"Oh my god. Wait Y/N. Do you like Gwinam?" She asked smiling brighter than the sun looking up at me.
"Okay fine I do, but you have to promise you won't tell anyone." I whispered.
"Promise."

However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.

After weeks of not finding a job while living with her aunt and cousin, Zoe turns to her slicing skills to steal credits from the Purity Church and turns to the mob so she can get a loan to pay for the internal secure storage space a courier needs and a frame for herself. After making an unlicensed run or two, Zoe finds employment with a transport company and truly starts her life as a courier. This story is a mix of light scifi, cyberpunk, slice of life, a dash of action, and a smidge of fantasy. Slicing is what hacking is called in this story. Credits are currency in this story.
