《math class | gwinam x reader》chapter 5 - the test

The bell just rung signifying that homeroom over, and I was slowly making my way to my maths classroom. I never normally 'tried' to be late for class, however, today was the day of some big test we all had to do, and even though I am new, my teacher is still making me do it.
I sighed as I walked along the halls of school, until I found myself outside of my classroom. I placed my bag down on the bag racks, and slowly took out all of my belonging as I looked into the classroom window, seeing that most of my peers were already seated and ready to start their tests.
"Did you study?" A voice asked from behind me, and I jumped when I realised that I was now not alone.
"Uh no. Do I look like a person who would study?" I joked, responding to the tall, handsome male standing behind me.
"Yeah actually, you do." He smiled looking deep into my eyes, I blushed, playing with the ends of my ponytail to distract myself from the greek god standing right before my eyes.
I looked down, and then noticed that I just had a bunch of my belongings piled up on top of my bag. I sighed when I realised that I actually had no idea what I was going to need for this test.
"Hey Gwinam?" I ask, mentally facepalming at how pathetic I sound saying his name. Gwinam. Why did his name have to be Gwinam? So fucking hot! I thought to myself.
"Yeah, what's up?" He asked looking away from his backpack, and making strong, perfect eye contact with me. It took self control to not just break out in some blushing fit.
"Um, what exactly do I actually need for this test?" I asked looking down, feeling rather dumb.

However, Gwinam just smiled, looking directly at me before responding.
"Um you will probably need a pencil, oh and a pen, highlighters, an eraser, a ruler..." He said going on. I honestly thought that he was going to name every piece of stationary known to human kind!
"Um yeah, I'll just take in my whole pencil case." I say smiling as I cut him off.
"Yeah you could do that too." He responded dumbly.
Here I go blushing again. I thought.
"Thanks Gwinam." I say before swiftly opening the door and entering the classroom without another word.
The test was boring as fuck if I do say so myself. I didn't know half of the stuff on there, and I was bored out of my mind.
I sighed as I walked out of the classroom, and waited for On-Jo to finish her test so I could catch up with her. Pulling out my phone, I surfed my Instagram for a little while until I could feel that someone was standing next to me. I put my phone back into the pocket of my jacket and looked up.
"Hey," He softly spoke, "How did you go?"
"Shit." I mumbled rolling my eyes, laughing a little bit.
He laughed too. "Same." He said fist bumping me.
I swear I could feel the butterflies erupting in my tummy. I felt like I was going to explode.
"I never finish my exams." Gwinam sighed. I sympathetically smiled at him, until his friends came over and started talking random crap to him.
He smiled at me, and just like that, he left just as quickly as he appeared.
