"I love her." Tsukishima says, as a single tear falls from his right eye. He wipes it away. "Oh gross, feelings"
"You... love her?" Yamaguchi repeats.
"Wait what?" Yachi gasps. "Are you talking about (Name)-chan!?"
"Obviously" Tsukishima says forwardly.
"You finally realized it?" Yamaguchi sighs. Yachi squeals, cupping her hands to her mouth.
"Yeah..." he rubs the back of his neck.
"So, are you going to confess?" Yachi jumps with excitement.
"No."
"Wait, why?" Yachi stops her fangirling.
"She has a boyfriend and shes happy with him. I'm not going to ruin her happiness"
"So sweet" Yamaguchi puts his hand on Yachi's shoulder and they both nod at eachother and wipe a tear. "Have mercy"
"What are you guys doing?"
"You finally realize your feeling and you aren't going to do anything?" Yachi shakes her head. "SMH"
"S..m...h?" Tsukishima looks clueless.
"Shake my head Tsukishima! Shake! My! Head!" Yachi flips her short blonde hair and puts her hands on her hips. She points to him, "At least give her the gift you got for her"
"You told her?" Tsukishima glares at Yamaguchi.
"Gomen Tsukki," Yamaguchi bows an apology, but looks back up, "you don't have to confess to her but at least make it clear you're an option"
"Yeah!" Yachi pouts. "I cant let my sweet ship sink without even floating"
"So annoying" Tsukishima groans. "I shouldn't have admitted my feelings. Feelings are the worst"
"You're as salty as your tears. Chill"
Tsukishima rolls his eyes. "Just.. don't tell her?"
"We're obviously not telling her but that can't stop us from telling the rest of the team" Yachi's eyes light up.
"Yachi! Don't include me in your little plans!"
Yamaguchi looks at Yachi with a concerned look as she laughs to herself. "Oh I can't wait to tell Shimizu" Yachi puts on a sweet smile, "Okay lets make a plan to put operation Salty Man into play"
"I didn't agree on that name and seriously an operation?" Tsukishima eyes narrow.
"Okay lets break up Misawa and (Name)!"
"No," Tsukishima says annoyed. "Don't do anything that could result in heartbreak"
"Aw," Yachi swoons. "You really care about her don't you?"
"Yeah, I do, so don't do anything." Tsukishima walks between Yamaguchi and Yachi. "And don't include me in any of your 'plans'"
Tsukishima walks away. Yachi and Yamaguchi turn to eachother. "I'm going to text Kiyoko" Yachi says taking out her phone.
"Tsukishima... loves... (Name).. he doesn't ...want... her.... to know" Yachi says while typing a new message. "And... sent!"

"I'm sure Shimizu-senpai already knows..."
"Oh well," Yachi shrugs. She grabs Yamaguchi's wrist and points to the sunset, "Onward my dear friend!"
-
On the other side of the park, Kiyoko is eating a churro. Nishinoya and Tanaka sit on the bench across from her, holding her phone.
"Dude, don't you think we should give Shimizu-senpai's phone back?" Nishinoya says as Tanaka gleefully scrolls through the phone.
"I'm sure its fi—" A notification cuts Tanaka off. A text from Yachi appears on the top of the screen. The boys read the text as their eyes widen from the news.
"HOLY SHIT" Nishinoya and Tanaka say in unison, jumping on the bench.
"What are you guys doing with my phone," Kiyoko says calmly with a half bitten churro in her hand.
"SHIMIZU-SENPAI!" Tanaka drops the phone in to Kiyoko's hands. Kiyoko turn away as Nishinoya and Tanaka freak out behind her. "
"Oh," Kiyoko says looking at the message from Yachi and takes another bite of her churro. "Neat."
"TSUKISHIMA LIKES (NAME)!" Tanaka yells grabbing Nishinoya's shoulders and shakes him.
"I mean it was kind of obvious..." Kiyoko turns to them. "Don't tell anyone, especially my sister"
"Uh... I already told Asahi?"
-
"Hey," Asahi turns to Suga and Daichi after reading the text "Tsukishima loves (Name)"
"Oh he finally realized?" Daichi says, not looking up from his phone.
"Yay!" Suga cheers. "I guess our plan did work out didn't it Daichi?"
"Isn't it bad that shes dating Kuroo's younger brother though?"
"It's.... a set back." Suga puts his hand on his chin to think.
"Suga-senpai!" Yachi waves, holding Yamaguchi's wrist with her other hand.
"Yachi-San!" Suga says with a bright smile. "Did you hear about Tsukishima?"
"How did you know?" Yachi begins to freak out
"Nishinoya texted me" Asahi holds up his phone, displaying the message.
"B-but I only texted Shimizu-senpai the text?" Yachi stammers.
"Oh, the boys must have stolen her phone again" Daichi
"Stole!?" Yachi yells.
"I'm sure its fine, knowing them, as nosy as they are they won't tell (Name)" Suga pats Yachi on the back to calm her down.
Yachi sighs a breath of relief, "Good, because Tsukishima would kill me"
"And why would I kill you?" Tsukishima says, making Yachi scream.
"N-N-No r-r-r-reason" She shakes, turning.
"Tsukishima! Congratulations on realizing your feelings for (Name)!" Suga grins, smacking Tsukishima on his back.
"Wait, what?" Tsukishima says, confused.
"Aye! Tsukishima!" Nishinoya and Tanaka run over, with Kiyoko trailing behind. "Are you going to confess?"

"Why does everyone know!?" Tsukishima harshly whispers to Yachi and Yamaguchi.
"I sent a text to Shimizu but Nishinoya and Tanaka saw it and then Nishinoya told Asahi and he told Suga and Daichi" Yachi says quickly as a fire is lit in Tsukishima's eyes.
"Don't worry my dear kouhai, we won't tell" Tanaka nudges Tsukishima on the shoulder as a vein pops out of his head.
"HEY GUYS!" You yell waving.
You meet up with everyone, full of energy. "Today was such a good day! Kiyoko we should come back! OH and don't get me started on this little girl in the line. She was being REALLY rude and crying about me winning the dog plushie. She's just salty I'm amazing at games. Misawa and I went on the Ferris wheel and i amolst puked. GOD! We were up so sigh i got so scared but I'm fine now and oh oh oh! " You say fast.
"Why is she talking so much?"
"Shes having a sugar high. She ate too much sweets today" Kiyoko sighs. She looks at her watch, "She'll pass out soon"
"OooH iTS ALMOST MY BIRTHDAY!" You squeal. You run over to everyone.
"Hi Nishinoya!" You yell.
"Hi (Name)!!!" Nishinoya yells back.
"Tsukishima, hold out your arms." Kiyoko directs her attention to the first year.
"Um.... okay?" He puts out his arms as you jump around.
"HEY BEANSTALK!" You grin. Everyone looks at you and the tall middle blocker. What will he do? Is he going to be all flustered.
"Yo" Tsukishima stands there with his arms out.
"Normal Tsukishima" everyone thinks at once.
"Now is about the time" Kiyoko looks up from her watch.
"What do you mean?" You say as your eyes begin to feel heavy. Your vision begins to blur as you topple over, trying to keep balance. Your eyes close shut as you fall onto Tsukishima.
"How did you know the exact time she was going to pass out?"
"She's my sister, Ive seen her have sugar highs. Her energy is at its peak as soon as she's about to fall asleep." Kiyoko walks over to you, who is soundly sleeping.
"Tsukishima can you do me a favor and carry her onto the bus."
"Sure..." Tsukishima lifts you onto his back.
"Okay everyone, lets get going. Coach Ukai is already on the bus."
All the players load the bus, exhausted from the long day of leisure. You sleep on your own chair in the back while everyone else asks Tsukishima questions.
"So Tsukishima... are you going to break up Misawa and (Name)?"
"Ask her out!"
"Wow he actually has a heart"
Tsukishima drowns out the noise by blasting music in his ears. He occasionally glares over at Yachi, who gets chills every time he does it.
-
All the karasuno students exit the bus as you are still fast asleep. Kiyoko turns to Tsukishima, "Can you help me carry her home?"
Tsukishima puts you on his back again, while Kiyoko holds your bags. On the walk home, your sister and the beanstalk begin a conversation.
"So you love my sister?" Kiyoko jumps straight to the point.
"Yeah" Tsukishima jumps to hold you better. Your arms wrap around his neck lightly while your head rests on his broad shoulders.
"All that matters to me is her happiness. If you want to be the one she loves, all I ask is you don't break her heart in the process." Kiyoko's eyebrows lower. "No one knows this, but I don't think she has been truly happy for quite some time. She may be smiling all the time but most of the time it isn't genuine."
"What do you mean?"
"It's a long story, but in general my sister doesn't feel loved" Kiyoko sighs. "Our mother would always yell at her for not living up to her expectations, which I was able to live up to."
Tsukishima's eyes turn to you, who is sleeping peacefully. Your sister continues, "She feels invisible compared to me. Thats why I invited her to join the volleyball club. The people there don't treat me like a goddess, most of the time."
"I see..."
"If you want her to notice you then let her know shes special to you."
Tsukishima looks forward, thinking. You three soon make it to your home. Kiyoko takes you off of Tsukishima's back.
"I got it from here." Kiyoko turns to the first year. "Wait out here,"
Kiyoko opens the door of your house and puts you down on the couch. She goes to the fridge and takes out a box of strawberry shortcake that you baked. Your sister takes it out to Tsukishima.
"Here you go, as a thank you for dealing with her." Kiyoko smiles sweetly.
"Thanks..." Tsukishima's eyes light up, but his face remains neutral. Tsukishima looks up at your sister. "I'm going to get going now, but thanks for the food"
"Anytime. If you need me for anything at all don't hesitate to find me" Kiyoko waves and goes back into your house.
Tsukishima thinks to himself as he walks back home. He takes out the dinosaur plushie and stares at it. Tsukishima looks up as an idea pops into his head.
-
The Next Day
-
"Shimizu-senpai." Tsukishima opens the door to Kiyoko's classroom.
"What is it?"
"I need your help,"

Souls of Savagery
Souls of Savagery is a series of short stories intended to function much like a comic book series. However, to experience the complete story in a logical order you should read the volumes in numerical order, starting of course, with Volume 1: A Bloodbath by Any Other Name. Each volume is told from a single point of view and that will change from volume to volume. Though, the narrative will require later volumes to return to characters that have been featured previously. I hope you enjoy.
