Taehyung woke up earlier and was following his usual routine. He was furious at her for the problems she caused yesterday and even more furious at himself for kissing her.

Y/n:- Ahh, my head. Why does it hurt so much?

Suddenly yesterday's party flashed through her mind and she got out of the bed.

Unfortunately, her memories were just confined to the moments before their kiss.

She brushed her teeth as fast as she could and rushed to him.

He ignored her presence and ate his food like nothing ever happened between them.

Y/n:- I-

He stood up without even acknowledging her presence.

She followed him since she owed him an apology.

Y/n:- I'm sorry.

He left for office not even giving her the slightest attention.

Y/n was running to Taehyung's cabin since she was late. She opened the door and was shocked to find Naeun there.

Y/n:- I'm sorry, I-

Taehyung:- Ms. Park, I need to have a word with you. Naeun is going to replace you as my secretary from now onwards.

Y/n:- Excuse me? Am I getting fired?

Taehyung:- Not exactly. You can assist the CFO.

Y/n:- Namjoon oppa?

Taehyung:- Careful, Ms. Park. He is not your Oppa here.

Y/n:- But why?

Taehyung:- Are you questioning me? You can either work as his P.A or leave this company for good. It's up to you.

Y/n:- Sorry.

She left his cabin with a heavy heart. Tears were streaming down her face but she managed to put on a straight face and rushed to Namjoon's cabin.

Namjoon:- Come in Y/n.

Namjoon:- Ah, It might be awkward for you. What happened between you? Did you two fight?

Y/n:- It's nothing, Oppa. Sorry, I mean bos-

Namjoon:- No need to be this formal Y/n. You can call me Oppa.

Y/n:- Ah, I'll get you coffee.

Namjoon:- Thanks Y/n. By the way, Naeun and Taehyung are friends since childhood. Don't misunderstand okay?

She nodded and went to get some coffee.

Naeun:- What the hell? Are you serious? Marriage for revenge?

Taehyung:- I just wanted to get back at Chanyeol.

Naeun:- You stooped this low for payback?

Taehyung:- I-don't know, I just-

Naeun:- This is too much. Taehyung, I mean she's innocent. Why take it out on her?

Taehyung:- Because she means a lot to him.

Naeun:- Why didn't you go after Eun Bin then? She is also his sister. Is it because you still love her?

Taehyung:- I don't know, Naeun-ah. It's all complicated.

Y/n and Taehyung reached home the same time. Neither of them uttered a single word to each other.

Finally, she decided to break the silence.

Why did you replace me?

He ignored her like always.

Y/n:- You know what? I quit I don't care anymore. I wouldn't have followed you if Oppa didn't tell me to keep an eye on you.

Taehyung:- What? He told you?

Y/n :- Huh?

He yanked her harshly.

Taehyung:- He asked you to follow me?

Y/n:- Huh-

He was fuming with anger and her stuttering wasn't making it any easier.

Taehyung:- DID CHANYEOL ASK YOU TO SPY ON ME?

Y/n:- N-No, That's not it. He just asked me to keep an eye on you because there is someon-

Taehyung:- Shut it. So that's why you were so eager to follow me around. I get it now.

Y/n:- No, it's not. Just hear me out, Tae.

Taehyung:- DON'T. DON'T EVER CALL ME THAT.

Y/n:- Listen to me, Oppa was just looking out for you.

Taehyung:- Do I look like a fool to you? Were you both planning to kill me?

Y/n:- What? No! Please, Listen to me.

Suddenly her phone rang and it was Chanyeol. He snatched it from her and answered the call.

Chanyeol:- Y/n-

Taehyung:- It's your ex best friend.

Chanyeol:- Taehyung? Where is Y/n?

Taehyung:- We need to talk.

Come to my house.

Chanyeol:- Did something happened to Y/n?

Taehyung cut the call.

Y/n:- What are you going to do? Why did you call him here? Are you going to hurt him?

Taehyung:- Just stay away from my sight. And don't make that innocent face. I despise it more than anything.

Chanyeol rang the calling bell and Taehyung went to answer it.

Taehyung:- Get in.

Chanyeol:- Why did you call me? Where is Y/n?

Y/n and Chanyeol hugged each other and Taehyung rolled his eyes at them.

Taehyung:- What a lovely siblings!

Chanyeol:- What's the matter? Why did you call me here?

Taehyung:- Shouldn't I be the one asking questions? What do you want from me? As if killing my parents wasn't enough? Do you want to kill me too? Is that why you made your beloved sister spy on me?

Y/n: Tae, It's not that. He just wanted to prot-

Taehyung:- Shut your mouth. I didn't ask you.

Chanyeol:- Yaa, don't speak to her like that.

Taehyung:- I know how to talk to my wife. I don't need your opinion. Now just f*cking answer me.

Chanyeol:- Your life is in danger, Taehyung.

Taehyung:- Of course I know that. Why wouldn't it be? My wife and her brother are conspiring against me.

Chanyeol:- We didn't conspire against you. All I did was asking her to keep an eye on you. There's someone else Taehyung.

Taehyung:- Someone else?
