As a child, Izumi was always fascinated with the revenant: a mysterious apparition that appears when one is at their lowest with the promise of salvation, only to devour them as consequence. Never did he doubt his existence, and his devotion to the tale would soon see light when encounters the specter in a field, albeit for a moment. Ever since that day, Izumi gained the ability to see ghosts, something that no one else possessed, causing his obsession with finding out the truth of the revenant to dominate his life. Overtime, his connection with the revenant would go beyond mere curiosity, as it grew into something he would never have expected: love.
