《Love At First Fight {Regulus Black}》19. YOU'RE AN ACTUAL GOD

arrived much quicker than Ivy expected and before she knew it, she was already getting ready for the Black Ball in her bedroom. Donna, Lily and even Marlene were there, all carefully watching as the youngest Evans prepared.
"Are you three going to be of any help or are you just going to sit there with your mouths open?"
Ivy's voice finally snapped the trio of girls out of their shocked expressions. You see, only Donna had previously seen Ivy's dress but even she forgot how good it actually looked.
"Ivy, you look amazing," Marlene complimented, ignoring the redhead's earlier question as her eyes scanned the gorgeous starry pattern of the dress.
"You really, really do," Lily confirmed, smiling brightly at her younger sister.
Ivy gave them a shy smile before she glanced down at the dress. She certainly felt like a princess in it, "Thank you," She mumbled.
"He is going to love it," Donna stated, catching the attention of both Lily and Marlene.
"Who's gonna love it?" Marlene asked, a confused look on her face as she glanced between the two younger girls.
Ivy's eyes widened in shock. She hadn't mentioned Regulus to her sister let alone Marlene, since she didn't need the two overreacting, "I don't know," Her voice was rushed as she spoke, "Donna's a weirdo, you two know that already. Okay, make-up time? Yes! Now!"
Lily looked at her sister with a 'I don't believe you' look, however, the younger Evans didn't let that get to her - too much - as she rushed over to take a seat by her mirror. Marlene slowly but surely made her way over to Ivy, carrying her heavy make-up case behind her.
The blonde looked at Ivy with a knowing expression as she began on her make-up, of course, asking every so often about what guys the youngest redhead hung out with; as a way to suss out who the mysterious guy Donna mentioned was.

Ivy felt exhausted once Marlene was done with her make-up. Through out the whole forty five minutes - if not longer - Ivy did everything in her power to make sure Lily and Marlene never guessed Regulus. Whilst Donna stuffed her face with any food she could find so that she couldn't talk.
Ivy looked at herself in the mirror and gasped.
She was more than happy with the outcome.
The black winged eyeliner was perfectly painted on her eyelids. It was even mixed with some dark eyeshadow that caused her eye colour to pop. Her usually light pink lips were now a deep red colour, thanks to her favourite matte lipstick. Her red hair - which was usually untamed - was now curled to perfection and pinned at the side, giving the overall look a much more elegant finish.
"Holy shit, Marlene," Ivy breathed out, "You're an actual God."
Marlene flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder, "Tell me about it."
Ivy, Donna and Lily all laughed at the response from the blonde, but their laughter got cut short when there was a sudden knock at the front door.
"That must be Sirius," Lily suggested before she ran out the bedroom only to return a minute or two later with Sirius Black in tow.
When his eyes landed on the youngest Evans his breath hitched in his throat, "You look amazing, Ivy."
Ivy smiled politely at Sirius, a light blush covered her cheeks, "Thank you, Siri. You look quite dashing yourself," She told him. He certainly did look good. He was cladded in a black suit with his tie actually tied around his neck; unlike how his school tie always was.
The grey eyes boy chuckled before holding his arm out, "Ready?"
Ivy took a deep breath. A sudden feeling of anxiety washing over her as she realised exactly where she was about to go, "Ready."
