could to steer clear of Regulus Black.

After The Marauders helped her get cleaned up and stop her crying, she explained to them what had happened, and it certainly did not go down well; especially with Sirius. The redhead told them to leave it, she would get over the incident, but of course, the boys didn't listen and a full week of pranks were sent in the way of three certain Slytherins. And seeing how Regulus didn't do anything to help the redhead, Sirius decided to personally prank him as well; however, he didn't get it anywhere near as bad as the other three.

From simple itching powder in their trousers to full blown embarrassments in the Great Hall, the Marauders really outdid themselves and Ivy couldn't help but actually find it funny. Even after her sister had scolded both her and the group of mischievous boys.

Both Donna and Jasper glared at the blue eyed boy in any and every class that they had with the Slytherins; of course, not forgetting to send death glares at Crouch, Malciber and Rosier as well. Ivy felt happy to have the friends she did, but deep down inside, she couldn't help but feel sad and betrayed by someone she was hoping to one day call a friend and not just an acquaintance.

But she didn't let that stop her. She returned back to her old self pretty quickly and this time she actually ignored everything Regulus tried saying to her during their Potions class together. She even had to ignore him in their other classes as he did everything he could to get her attention, but it never worked until one rainy day when they went face to face in a Quidditch match. Or so he thought.

"You can't ignore me forever," Regulus whispered as he caught up to the girl whilst walking down to the Quidditch Pitch. He ignored the glares he received from her two best friends.

"Watch me," Ivy replied bitterly, speeding up to get away from the blue eyed boy. Donna and Jasper quickly doing the same thing. Not before the brunette girl sent Regulus yet another one of her glares.

"I didn't mean for that to happen!" He exclaimed, throwing his arms up in the air as he watched her red hair bouncing rhythmically on her tense shoulders.

The girl didn't stop to look back at him - even though she really, really wanted to - she held her ground and walked straight to the Gryffindor changing rooms after separating with Donna and Jasper seeing as the two were going up to the stands.

After getting changed into her Quidditch robes, she stood sandwiched in-between Sirius and James - like usual - whilst listening to Noah drone on and on about how important this game was (even though it wasn't).

Ivy felt herself drifting off. She didn't pay attention to anything and as if she was on automatic she followed the team out onto the Pitch before tuning back in as Madam Hooch told the Team Captains to shake hands.

Loud cheers were heard from up in the stands.

Ivy glanced up briefly, noticing that the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff students were celebrating for the lions, whilst Slytherin and Ravenclaw cheered for the snakes. A smile crept on her face as she watched gold and burgundy flags waving in the wind as the loudest cheers were coming from her house. She could feel the slight breeze in her hair and quickly put it up in a high ponytail before hopping onto her broomstick and lifting off up into the air. Higher than the Chasers and Beaters.

Madam Hooch blew her whistle as she released the Quaffle up in the air and the game began.

Ivy blocked out the voice of Dennis Willows (the Quidditch commentator) as her eyes scanned the pitch, trying to spot the golden ball. She didn't manage to spot it, instead she spotted two blue eyes staring right at her causing her breath to hitch in her throat.

Swallowing deeply, she finally managed to rip her gaze from Regulus as she heard the familiar sound of flapping wings fluttering past her ear. Turning her head to the side, her eyes widened, spotting the Golden Snitch incredibly close to her.

Completely forgetting about the blue eyed boy. Ivy turned all of her focus on the flying ball. Gently and slowly, she raised her arm up, hoping to be able to sneak up on it and catch it that way but as she did so a Bludger came flying towards her and knocked right into her arm, causing a sickening crack to be heard throughout the pitch.

Groaning in pain, the redhead clutched her injured arm close to her chest as immense pain radiated off her arm.

"I'm so sorry!" Carlos Montgomery; the third year Gryffindor Beater yelled towards Ivy, "I didn't see you!"

"Montgomery! Don't aim at your own teammates!" Noah's voice echoed through the Quidditch Pitch as the game carried on, "Get back into the game! Evans! Shake it off!"

Rolling her eyes and scoffing, Ivy looked away from her injured arm and noticed the concerned stares coming from one particular player from the opposite team. Trying to ignore the pain, Ivy scanned the pitch before finding the Snitch had flown away from her.

Placing one hand back on her broomstick; she kept her injured one close to her chest, and quickly flew towards it. Being much more careful about Bludgers and Quaffles that flew past her.

"Are you okay?" Regulus' voice filled her ears as the two Seekers flew side by side.

"I know you don't care," Ivy spat, keeping her focus on the Snitch and trying to not fall off her broomstick.

"Of course I care," Regulus fought back, trying to keep his voice loud so she could hear him over all of commotion but also trying to keep it quiet so no one around them listened in.

"Just play the game, Black."

With that, the redhead sped up, managing to overtake the Slytherin Seeker. Contemplating how to catch the Snitch with no arms holding onto her broomstick, she quickly took a deep breath and finally, when she got close enough to the golden ball, she let go.

Stretching her uninjured arm, she tried her best to steer the broomstick using her body posture, but could feel herself tilting dangerously to the right. Placing her hand back onto the broomstick, she quickly steadied herself before repeating the same manoeuvre.

However, this time, she wasn't as lucky and managed to tilt too much to the left when a Quaffle came soaring past her head. Letting out a scream, the redhead used her uninjured arm to grab hold of her broomstick as she swung from side to side, using one hand to keep her up.

She could hear the gasps and shrieks of worry coming from the stands, and could practically hear Lily scolding her for actually joining the Quidditch Team. Closing her eyes in fear, she felt her hand aching before her fingers managed to slip from the grip.

The wind felt cold as she fell before it all suddenly stopped.

When she realised she wasn't falling anymore, her eyes opened wide as her breathing fastened. She realised that someone had caught her, seeing as she was still far from the ground and she could feel the broomstick underneath her. Turning her head to the side, she let out a sigh of relief when she noticed James Potter staring at her, worry filling his eyes as he held tightly onto her; so she wouldn't fall.

"REGULUS BLACK HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH!" Dennis bellowed, "SLYTHERIN WINS!"
