《With You |COMPLETED》Chapter Eighteen | how to flirt

IT WILL BE EDITED LATER TONIGHT. OKAY!
Enjoy
The plane ride home was at five in the morning. My mom said we could miss first hour but we had to go to school.
"Are you nervous this time?" Damien asks me, his hand resting on my mine. I gave him a small smile, shrugging my shoulders. I was terrified but I didn't want to freak out right now.
The movie was awful, Emily enjoyed it though. It was filled with silence and awkward stares toward Damien and I. I didn't care as much as I thought I would but it doesn't make the situation less awkward.
"So, you heard about the party Emily was talking about too right?" I mumbled, trying to change the subject while the plane took off. I could visibly see Damien shut off. His entire ora fell as he nodded his head.
I knew he would probably wanted to go and what could go wrong right?
Not like my first party was a train wreck.
Hint my sarcasm.
"Thea I don't know if it's the best idea," He mumbled, a frown forming on his annoyingly cute face.
"Why not, it'll be fun." I chuckled, a small smile on my face, hoping to change his mind. I don't think it would be that bad with him actually by my side.
"Thea.." He warned, making me sigh heavily in annoyance. Maybe if I explained it to him he would understand but the fact the plane shot into the sky made me jump and grab his hand tightly.
What was great was he didn't laugh this time, he actually got worried. I wanted to bust out laughing at him, in fact I did. I let out a few giggles before glancing out the window.
The ride actually went by fast taking to Damien, it was nice that he wasn't acting mean or crazy annoying. He just stayed on his phone or talked to Xavier who was a In the row beside us. I didn't mind, I needed to get some sleep in before we headed to school.

When the plane landed we made our way to the cars, throwing our bags into my moms car as Xavier's dad pulled out backpacks from his. I wanted to laugh at the weirdness of it all.
I said goodbye to my mom and went to sit in Damien's car while everyone else said their goodbyes. I even said goodbye to Xavier's dad, making sure to tell him my favorite smoothie was strawberry. We made a deal to tell each other one thing about ourselves when we felt like it.
One thing I never would've expected is he likes rainbow sprinkles better then sugar pearls.
Also I haven't thought much how the school would react to Damien and I.
I should've been more concerned because during second hour passing period everyone was blown away.
I mean I was too. I didn't expect Damien to keep an arm protectively wrapped around me while he walked me to class. He still looked like he bit into a lemon all the time but it wasn't toward me.
Success.
Speaking of success, I successfully made it out of second and third hour alive. I was stared at like the last pancake at breakfast but I didn't mind. I almost smirked at it. I felt like I held some sort of power and I could cut a bitch if needed.
It felt like the first day of school but this time everyone hated me a little more then they liked me.
Now was the hour I had with Damien. It wasn't bad but I wasn't ready for the shit show of this hour.
He didn't walk with me to third or fourth hour which was weird, in fact, he didn't even show up to the class.
I sat, stunned with Emily for a moment before I decided to head to lunch. I wonder what he did when he skipped class.
"So the party," Emily said softly while we made our way to the lunch room. I shrugged, not exactly knowing what else to say. My mind was completely somewhere else.

"It sounds fun Em. I'll go with you," I said with a short lived laugh. Her eyes widened as a smile fell onto her face in excitement. I had somewhat of a smile on my face until we hit the lunch room. The hatred in the air hit me like a brick wall.
Even worse, Damien was no where to be seen.
"Great," My sarcasm made Emily laugh as she linked arm with me. I wasn't mad but every time he disappears something bad happens. Emily and I plopped down at our usual table as Xavier, Ashley, and Alex joined us.
"Where's Damien?" I casually asked the boys while pulling out my usual sandwich. Xavier gave me a unusual look before glancing around the cafeteria.
"I don't know actually," He said quietly, pulling out his phone so he could text. I let out a huff of air before pulling out my phone to text Damien. Before I could even get a chance to text him, the one person I wanted to hear from texted me.
Hey my darling, I had to run to my house because my sister got sick at school and my mother refused to leave work to get her. I am just going to spend the rest of the day with her.
I let a small smile fall onto my face realizing he wasn't so bad after all. My fingers slowly pressed onto the screen to text him back. I was dying at my phone name for him, but quickly stopped because mine was way worse...by far.
I hope she feels better, don't have to much fun without me (;
I don't know why I was smiling like an idiot on my phone but it was noticeable to Ashley who wore a giant smirk when I glanced up. I let out a laugh while she winked at me causing my cheeks to furiously turn pink.
I was going to attack her about being nosy but my phone buzzed again sending me back into a loving phase.
To late, did you know strip clubs are open at this time? Crazy right? It's a blast! Anyway after Sadie finishes up her stack of bills I was thinking you could come over.
I let out a stupid laugh, stuffing my face with my sandwich. I felt like a love sick puppy and it didn't make me feel like a idiot. I just felt happy but the way Ashley kept staring at me made me feel like- well, an idiot.
Yeah, I'll come over, but only if you save me a couple dollars so I can get ice cream. I might not strip but I do take off my belt when I get full.
I could hear my friends yelling and laughing while I held half a sandwich in my mouth. I immediately got a text back, making me smile wider then I thought was humanly possible for me.
Sadie wasn't happy but I stole at least twenty so we could get pizza as well. She said if we get her Mac and Cheese and take her to her pizza she'll make us cookies next week.
Now cookies are involved?! Count me in! I'll be over after school! See you soon.
I let another small smile fall onto my face as Ashley picked up my backpack, waiting for me to get up.
"You look cute all happy and stuff." Ashley laughed making me give her a smile and take my backpack.
I was happy, for now at least.
