Mia P.O.V

We just reached home from the party.

“I'm going to sleep”, I said to Jacob.

“Ok.” He replied while opening the fridge.

Today I got to meet a lot of businessmen and businesswomen. I was astonished to see that there were a lot of more successful businesswomen than businessmen. It was a shame for those men (A/N No offense).

I was very tired but I could not sleep even though my bed was very comfy. Every time I closed my eyes I could see Jacob. I don't even know if I'm falling for him or not. Jacob was very sexy today. I could not stop staring at him. Not only was me but all the women in the party were staring at Jacob like he was some prey. I just felt like tearing their eyes… wait why should I be jealous?

The next week passed away very quickly. We were in a meeting with Mr. Roy when his mobile rang. I glared at him. One day my mobile rang in one of the meeting and he gave me a lecture about how mobiles should be switched off etc… now what about him? Does the rule not apply to him?

"Hello", he said while walking to the exit. He did not even bother to excuse himself. I did not say anything to him considering his age.

"Old man", I muttered under my breath.

"You said something", Jacob asked me.

“No" I replied.

After about 10 minutes Mr. Roy came back in the room.

"I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen I've got to go. I have some personal problems. The meeting will be postponing. My secretary will inform you.” He said to all of us. He dismissed all the other people except for Jacob and me. He waited for the other people to go before turning to us.

"I won't be in the country for about 2 weeks; my mother is in the hospital. She had an accident. I think I’ll take a maximum of two weeks." He said.

"So what do we do for 2 weeks?" I asked.

He scratched the back of his neck and said “I’m afraid that you will have to stay here."

"It's okay! We will stay here in England." said Jacob.

After saying his goodbye, Mr. Roy went out and I turned and glared at Jacob.

"I can't stay here for another 2 weeks." I said almost shouted to Jacob.

"Yes you are going to stay here with me" He replied.

I opened my mouth to refuse but he interrupts me and said: “Or else I'll cancel your 2 weeks off."

I glared at him and said "fine."
