《Kindred Spirits》Chapter 19

It's been a couple of days since Matt's death and Zola fully being done with her father and the gang of Mystic Falls.
Klaus had brought another house, and again put it into Zola's name. They even had Zola spell the house so not even humans can enter the house.
Rebekah and Kol stayed behind to help with those children while Finn left into the sunset with Sage. Klaus and Elijah have been or at least trying to console their mate, whose going through a very dark time.
"Elskan, get out of bed please. At least to get some food and shower, maybe that'll help" Elijah tries to plead, moving to rub her cheek but she just huffed and turns around trying to get away from him. It doesn't help much because Klaus is there behind her.
"Love, Elijah here is trying to go the nice way about this but I'm going to be very real with you. You are starting to stink up the room" Klaus insults Zola, smirking.
Zola gasps, and smacks his chest, trying to push him off the bed. He captures her hand, pulling her into his chest.
"C'mon love, we hate seeing you like this."
Zola sighs, letting herself sink into his chest. "I know, I just feel like everything happened so fast and I couldn't really accept what happened. I just waited to process everything before I continue on knowing that there might be a chance in the near future where my father might try to kill me again"
"We know elskan, we know" Elijah comforts her, rubbing her back.
They stay in that position until Klaus has had enough of the snappy time.
"C'mon love, let's get you up and into the showers while Elijah goes downstairs and remake you food that most likely went cold" Klaus pestered, pulling Zola from her bed and into the bathroom.

Letting Zola do her business, Klaus walks downstairs to be greeted with his older brother, who keeps glancing upstairs worriedly.
"She'll be fine"
"We don't know that Niklaus. I'm worried"
Klaus sighs, nodding his head agreeing with Elijah.
Zola walks downstairs, done with taking the much needed shower. She sits in between Elijah and Klaus, grabbing the plate that was handed to her. While eating, she felt someone staring at her.
"What?"
Emily walks from the shadows, making herself seen to the Mikaelson men as well. "We need to talk about taking Bonnie's magic away. The sooner the better"
"Does it need to be this second?" Elijah sighs, wanting peace for his mate.
"No, the ancestors are starting to get anxious about something. And everytime I ask, it's Bonnie's name coming out their mouth"
"So we take her magic away and then what?" Zola groans, placing her grilled cheese back down on her plate.
"Then you leave" Emily states, placing her hand onto Zola's shoulder "You don't need to stay here any longer than needed"
Zola huffed, getting up from the dining chair. "Fine, we can do it this weekend. Isn't there like a dance or something"
And on que, Rebekah comes vamp speeding into the room, grinning from ear to ear.
"Happy you mentioned the dance this weekend"
Zola giggles, while Klaus and Elijah groan at Rebekah's antics. They don't know what they just got themselves into.
"Are you sure that spell worked? We don't need no back-stabbing old hag listening into our conversation" Damon complains, not believing in Bonnie's spell work.
"Maybe I don't know. Zola is very strong so we have no idea what type of power Emily is tapping into" Bonnie states, double checking her spell.
"Guys, maybe we shouldn't do this. I mean she killed Matt for something he wasn't even related to" Caroline insisted, scared for her life.

Elena scoffs, standing up from the couch "That's exactly why we need to do this. She has power that doesn't belong to her nor that she deserves"
"And you're okay with this? She is your daughter" Caroline states, making everyone's attention turn to Alaric who is standing by the fireplace with a dagger coated with poison that could kill just about any human.
"My daughter died that summer, somehow. That" Alaric pauses, filled with despair and disgust "That thing is not my daughter."
Caroline shakes her head, with tears in her eyes "Go ahead then. Plan your deaths. But you can do it without me" She walks out, not waiting for Tyler who stayed back.
"Whatever, we don't need her" Elena retorts, rolling her eyes at the dramatic exit Caroline did. Stefan stands up to get everyone's attention.
"This weekend is when it goes down. Knowing Rebekah, she will drag them to the dance. Which is where ultimately someone will died, hopefully it's them"
Everyone nods, not knowing there is a backstabbing old hag in the shadows watching them, just not the one they think.
Indeed someone will die this weekend and someone will rise.

A Pirate's Life for Mei
In the future, prisoners are no longer kept in traditional prisons. They're put into comas and permanently dwell within realistic, full-dive virtual worlds. Mei is a journalist and activist falsely convicted of political crimes after accusing an official of sexual harassment. She finds herself in chains aboard a ship in the Caribbean, a prison realm set in 1675, in the age of sail. Oversight is corrupt and the guards are violent. While most prisoners sullenly endure their hardship, Mei knows that this world has a loophole: prisoners can buy their freedom — if they can get the gold. And this also happens to be the golden age of piracy. Yo ho, yo ho. It's a pirate's life for Mei. Book 1 Mei arrives in the Caribbean and battles for her freedom against the devilish English navy, is kidnapped by Caribs, and comes face-to-face with a jaguar. She recruits fellow prisoners in an attempt to steal a boat and flee the prison colony. Book 2 Mei and her crew arrive in Sint Maartin and learn that the French and the Dutch are at war! As Lance, Juan, and Cheeto face their pasts, the crew becomes privateers. Their first prize: a ship full of rum and a week of drunken debauchery in Curacao. This puts them on the trail of Aztec gold buried deep in jungle ruins. An adventure filled with doublecrosses and stealing their first true ship! This is the All Ages version. 8 218A Long Refrain
September, in the Continuate: For most students living in the Third Division, the month's arrival usually means the start of a new school year. But not so for one particular freshman, whose first month at college seems to never end—literally. Set during the 20th year of the nation's Rectification Era, A Long Refrain follows Melody Quick’s attempts to escape from the month-long time loop she's found herself trapped in. Her journey, which starts in the capital city of Somnhaven, will take her across the vast expanse of land once known as Circadia, whose forgotten histories, ancient secrets and eccentric inhabitants could hold the key to discovering the true nature of the loop and the role she herself plays within it. However, the more she learns, the more cruel truths she must face: Will she really be able to handle the awful reality behind the loop, and all that it entails? And will those very same answers she's found be enough to not only break her free from the loop, but to also protect the people she holds dear? (A-and from what, exactly ...?)
8 88Small Pond
In a world without systems, levels, or any standard power levels, Faust is a naturally skeptical person who always asks questions first and accepts after he gets confirmation. A lot of it. With some information unknown to the reader, represented as [?], Faust is left to discover who kidnapped him, where he is, if magic exists, and what to do while the reader silently observes him. And as for the YOU dear reader, I'll need your help choosing some things... Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school.
