《The Gotham Ghost King》Out in the West

At the end of the chapter, I've got two questions. IF YOU CAN PLEASE ANSWER THEM!!!! They are important to how I can progress the plot.
~~~~~~
Will and I are calm, for once. It is early in the morning, four a.m. or so. Ridiculously early for most mortals, but a wonderful time for the children of the dead
We lay on a large blanket, set up high in the dark structure of poles and ropes, surrounded by a nest of blankets and pillows.
I closed my eyes, sighing contently, as I cuddled up with Will.
"Nico!" Someone harshly whispered.
My eyes flew open as my hand dove inside a shadow, ready to grab my sword.
"Nico! Chill! It's me, Piper. Get Will up! He needs to hear this too!" She said, looking at us through an Iris message.
I tugged on Will's shadow, sending a shiver through him as he shot up with a ball of light formed in his hand.
"Okay you two. So Percy, Annabeth, Jason and I are in Nevada trying to pick up a supposed daughter of Psamathe*. We showed up and found a bunch of Spartoi holding the girl captive. We've rescued the girl, but we need you to clean up the Spartoi. "
I stood up, forming a soft-ball sized ball of shadows, which I flung it against the floor, creating two copies of Will and myself.
"Will. Spark the simulacrum" I ordered.
Will took the ball of light and concentrated, watching as it turned green. He then took the ball of light and split it, placing half into each of the simulacrum.
They began to breathe, chests rising and falling
"Okay Will. I'm going to shadow travel us. When we show up, get Hazel. Only she and I can kill the Spartoi." I said, while snapping and letting my armor fall over me. A black denim jacket, made from the fur of a Neamen Lion, as well as a set of black pants and a pair of black combat boots.
"Fine, but I'm traveling us."
"Sure. Let's go"
Will hugged me tightly as I placed a shadow blindfold on my head, then gave a thumbs up as Will formed another ball of light, this one a bright white. He tossed it in the air, swiftly flattening his palm in a practiced manner and brought it down, tossing us into a swirling rainbow vortex, one visible even through the blindfold. Our feet lifted off of the ground, and the colors shifted, switching so fast that they seemed to be white.
With a flash and a deafening bang, our feet hit the ground again. I dropped the blindfold and tried to blink away the shadows that tried to overtake my vision, while also fighting off the ringing in my head.
"You're stained again," I said after I looked up, revealing my boyfriend with rainbow-patterned hair, a few golden feathers tucked behind his ears. "You also brought out your wings?"
"How far are we from them?"
"About a mile southwest. I'm going to shadow travel myself, and I'll send Jason. See you soon Sunshine."
"You better be in one piece when I see you again, Ghostie."
"I shall do my best," I replied, before dropping through the shadows beneath my feet.
I fell through limbo for a moment, landing on the ground next to Annabeth.
"Where's blue?"
"Percy took the girl to CHB. He'll be back in a minute with Hazel."
"JASON!" I yelled.
"Yeah?" He questioned, landing a few feet away from me.
"Will is a mile northeast from here. Can you go pick him up?"
"Sure."
I reached into a shadow and pulled out my sword, before spinning and stabbing a skeleton that was trying to attack me from behind.
I stabbed and slashing, taking down the Sparoti left and right, leaving piles of bones in my wake.
One of them nicked my arm with their xiphos, while another gave me bruised with its arrows.
I simply continued to fight, ignoring all of the scratches and bruises I was gaining.
I noticed one to my right fall apart, beheaded by a spartha held by a dark-haired girl on a chestnut Pegasus.
She waved, before the Pegasus took off again to avoid a spear.
"Watch out for my sister Frank!" I yelled as they flew away.
I reached down, trying to grab another knife out of a lower leg sheathe as I watched my surroundings.
Suddenly, a sharp pain pierced my lower leg and hand. Eyes slowly traveling down to my leg where a arrow stuck out and pinned my hand to my leg. I looked up, managing to barely look at his beautiful blue eyes before the world went dark.
