《Only Mine (Kagehina) (Kageyama x Hinata)》Chapter 18

When life is at a constant high and there are things happening all the time, before you realise it time flies right over your head. It has been around a week since Kageyama was let out of the hospital and started going to school. Kageyama admitted it was quite weird being back at school where everyone knew him yet he didn't know anyone. However, no one really hanged out with him either way, Kageyama didn't know if it was because he didn't have much friends prier his accident or if no one wanted to associate with him anymore. He guess it was probably the first option, although as long as he had Hinata he wasn't too worried.
On the other hand, Hinata's his school life changed as well. Since the day after Kageyama was hospitalised all the bulling stopped, although he might have not realised it at first due to the stress of his boyfriend, well, ex boyfriend?, being hospitalised. Now that everything is some what settled down he has realised that no one is there picking on him, his desk is not ruined anymore, he doesn't get weird notes in his locker and people just don't bother him. If he was being honest Hinata was confused as to why this sudden change, it wasn't like people knew Kageyama was hospitalised until he started coming back to school, so it couldn't have been correlated.
Akuhei. Hinata hasn't seen her since the accident, she wasn't in his class so he just assumed she left him alone and stayed back for once. That was until he overhead some kids talking about her, she transferred schools. Hinata felt as if a boulder was lifted off his shoulders, a sense of freedom took over him. That probably also explained why he wasn't getting bullied anymore, minions without a leader are useless and don't have anyone telling them what to do. It really amazed him how one single person could turn his life around for the worse and it only took her to disappear for everything to gets better, to some extent. Sometimes once something happens to you, you have to accept the consequences no matter what, even if it wasn't your doing, hence Kageyama's memory loss.

Kageyama knew that there were people talking behind his back about him, he didn't really care what others thought. Although he knew that deep inside those words hurt his heart. Hearing other people laugh out of others misfortune, he couldn't understand how they could be getting so much joy from it. It probably just meant they were horrible people and that's how Kageyama explained it to himself, shaking it off, knowing that getting bothered by other people's words won't benefit him in any way. To his surprise he occasionally found Hinata standing up to him. This ball of energy always somehow found a comeback when he sussed out someone who was talking about Kageyama, although Hinata didn't realise that Kageyama overheard him a couple of times when he was coming to the rescue and saving Kageyama's image.
It made Kageyama's heart thump hearing how Hinata would go out of his way to make sure that nothing bad was said about him. He knew that even through he was going through a lot, at least he could still rely on Hinata. Hinata was also hurting right now, it's as if he lost a part of himself, yet he still goes to these lengths to make sure Kageyama was happy, no one ever did that for him. Kageyama couldn't comprehend how someone was willing to do things like these, it's not like Hinata was gaining anything out of it too. The kindness that radiated from Hinata overcomes all the rumours coming from people.
Another significant change that happen was, for some reason Kageyama wouldn't come near the sports hall. Hinata caught Kageyama practising volleyball on his own, but he refused to come to the club. Hinata decided to leave it for now and give him time to get comfortable with his new life and maybe then he would come back. In no way does Hinata want to pressure Kageyama to do anything he didn't want to do, so instead Hinata would occasionally join Kageyama on a field next to their school and just practise together. Hinata was desperate to ask why in the world did Kageyama not was to play proper matches with his team, he has told him over and over again how he made friends with them a and how he became a better teammate, yet he still didn't dare to enter the court.

Hinata tried doing everything he could, from small things to bigger, to help trigger Kageyama's memory. He didn't want to give up hope, yet he felt discouraged seeing as all his efforts were not working. At the end if the day, as long as he kept Kageyama happy, that was more important to him. So he carried on, trying to keep to their routine that they had before the accident, something Kageyama should have been familiar with, the doctor did say that if Hinata kept doing things like what they did before it might just spark something inside Kageyama's brain. Those simple words was what kept Hinata hoping for a different outcome, although it was also nice just doing cute things for the person he loved.
Kageyama would find himself finding notes in his locker, obviously from Hinata. Little notes like; "hope you have a good day :)" or something similar to that. They were always different, some less serious, some reminding him of when they had deadlines and then some that made his heart flutter a little. Kageyama sometimes could feel himself getting a bit hotter, probably meaning he was blushing. He would try to hide his face and rush to his classroom without anyone seeing, the note in his hand. He kept every single one of them in his room, pinning the ones he really liked onto his wall as a reminder that there was this special person who cares for him deeply.
On other days he would receive his favourite flavoured milk at lunch' handed to him by Hinata. After all these things that Hinata has been doing for him, Kageyama tried to repay the favour by buying him lunch or walking him home. Even if Hinata insisted that he shouldn't and that he didn't need anything from Kageyama, he felt good for doing things for Hinata. He also just enjoyed spending time with him, whenever he was tired after a whole school day he would find himself leaching off of Hinata's hyperactive energy, he doesn't know how Hinata does it but he always manages to make his mood light up.
Kageyama himself wished that his memory would be able to come back, if it wasn't for his own sake he wanted it for Hinata. So he could finally be able to remember all the moments that he spend with Hinata. He hoped that that day will come. The thought that the more time goes by the less likely he will remember anything is terrifying, but he tried not to think about it, for now he's going to focus on helping Hinata by remembering even the slightest of things.

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.
