《Only Mine (Kagehina) (Kageyama x Hinata)》Chapter 7

The silence invaded soon after, you could practically hear Hinata's heart pounding through his chest. Questions spirred around his brain, it's like he could go asking questions yet whenever he were to open his mouth no sound came out. Hinata was practically trailing behind Kageyama, too afraid to meet his eyes and pace. Whenever Kageyama looked back to check on his mischievous 'friend' invade he ran away, Hinata would lower his head and stare at how his feet were moving, it was like he wasn't in control of his body and his legs were just mimicking Kageyama's movemnts.
"We're nearly there." breathed out Kageyama. By now it has become darker and the sun has nearly completely set. Hinata looked around, scoping the area around him. He's never been there before. They were now walking down a dirt path that led them into and open field with a lake underneath. You'd have to admit it was a spectacular view especially at night when all the stars have come out. Hinata made sure to text his parents that he was staying at Kageyama's untill late so they wouldnt have to worry about him missing. Just maybe that could be true, maybe they could sleep over togeth- wait no he was supposed to be mad at him. But his voice was so gentle and pleading whem he asked for Hinata to come with him, how could he not refuse. There must be a good reason to why he did what he did, but how can one explain a kiss-
"Hinata?" Just those words made Hinata shiver. His tone was deep yet comforting, a perfect match for his face and his fierce but gentle eyes.
"Yeah?" Hinata replied after a long breath, "sorry I spaced out."
"What were you thinking about so intensely." Kageyama asked out of curiosity with a smirk on his face which could only mean one thing.

"Wait, no you pervert, not that. I'm just a bit- nervous." Hinata who usually is loud and stern, whimpered out those words as he started playing around with his fingers. Kageyama cocked his head to the side, probably confused as to why Hinata was nervous to talk to him. Hinata must think highly of him if it means that much. It was kind of, no, it was very adorable. Hinata carefully layed down on the grass, his head resting so he could gaze at the beautiful stars above him.
"Join me." Hinata patted the grass next to him inviting Kageyama. It didn't take long for Kageyama to find himself next to Hinata, way closer to him than he estimated to be, not that he is complaining. Their arms were brushing each other eager to grip one another, yearning for each others touch. Sooner or later Kageyama took a deep breath and began his story.
"I didn't want to do it at first, but I had to for your own good-"
"How does that do me any good, looking at you kiss ano-" Kageyema leaned forward and slightly turned his body towards Hinata and placed his hand on his mouth to make him shut up for a second.
"let me finish, the girl you saw, I've known her for ages now. We used to be friends, really close friends untill one day she confessed to me. I only saw her as a friend so I naturally had to reject her. From that day we didn't talk as much, it was way too awkward even being in the same room. I thought that would be the end of our relationship but things turned for the worse. She became very stalkery and as soon as she saw me getting too close to someone ahe would somehow ruin that freindship for me. She'd either say rumors or lies about me so that no one wanted to be my friend. Thats also why I didnt have much friends before you."

"But she never said anything to me before."
"well she didn't say but she has done something. The boy that was bulling you a few days back, he was sent by her to beat you up. Im telling you she's obsessed with me. She approached me the day you saw us and started threatening me, telling me if I don't stop seeing you she'd do worse than a simple beating, thats also how I found out that the boy was sent by her. I told her I'd do anything just for her to leave you alone, i don't want you hurt becuase of me. And thats when she said that if I kissed her she would leave you alone."
Hinata looked over to Kageyama laying down next to him, his eyes were shining, as if he was tearing up. Suddenly he got up again to face Hinata, that's when tears actually started falling down his face. Hinata never seen Kageyama so broken.
"You have to believe me, I only did it to protect you, please belive me, I don't want to lose you after I finally was able to confess to you. I like you Hinata, please-"
"I believe you" Hinata replied in a soft voice. He also got up and paced his hand on Kageyama's check whiping away his tears. Kageyama leaned into his hand and closed his eyes absorbing his warmth. Out of no where Kageyama pulled Hinata on top of him and pulled him into a tight hug. It felt like they haven't touched each other in so long. Without any hesitation Hinata wrapped his arms around Kageyama letting his tears whip away on his shirt.
"I like you too Kageyama." Kageyama looked up at Hinata with wide eyes his hands on Hinata's shoulders.
"Y-you do?"
"Of course I do dumbass" Kageyama pulled Hinata away looking at him seriously with a small smirk.
"Hey, I'm the only one that's allowed to call others a dumbass. Especially you." Hinata chuckled at Kageyama's response. "Stupid" Kageyama continued as he pulled Hinata by his shirt and placed his lips onto Hinata's.
"Be my boyfriend?" Kageyama whispered between kisses. He felt Hinata tense up for a second before replying back.
"Of course I will."

The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
