《Haikyuu One Shots》Tetsurou Kuroo

"I don't want to go to a party, (F/N). Those things suck." You shook your head.
"Come on, its only one college party, and we don't even have class tomorrow!" They rolled their eyes.
"Where even is it?" You asked.
"Its a bit off campus. Sawamura-kun is holding it- he's my friend with the volleyball scholarship, you met him before." They explained.
"Sawamura-kun doesn't seem like the type to host parties." You commented.
"Well, technically it was supposed to be a party for him and his old volleyball friends, but its definitely going to be a lot more people. I heard he let everyone invite some other people but Kuroo-kun invited like- every one he knew. Daichi's gonna' be pissed." They said.
"Fine, I'll go. But I'm only staying to 11, and you better stay with me the whole time." You agreed.
"Of course, of course! This is gonna' be so much fun!" They exclaimed.

It was 8pm, (F/N) and you were walking up to the house now. (F/N) looked dressed to go to a club, and you were wearing what you always wore. Once you two got there, it was already packed. People were standing and talking on the front porch, with drinks or cigarettes in hand.
Then the inside also looked fairly calm as the outside did. Just a bunch of people standing around and talking or watching TV. No one was especially drunk yet.
"Hey (F/N), didn't think you would show up!" A tall guy with messy black hair wrapped an arm around their shoulders. Following behind him was a shorter guy with long hair. The tips were blonde while everything from the roots were brown.
"Hey Kuroo! Oh, (Y/N), this is Kuroo. How was Daichi about all these people suddenly at his house?" She asked the tall guy.
"Ha- you could hear him yelling from down the block! Suga and him were too nice to kick anyone out though. Maybe this party will actually be fun." Kuroo laughed.
"You said this was just going to be volleyball people, not everyone." The shorter guy quietly told him.
"You need to get out more, Kenma. Stop sulking in our dorm." Kuroo slapped the guy on the back, nearly sending him to the ground.
"I'm going to find Yaku. Text me when we're leaving." He walked off up the stairs.
"So, (F/N). Whos this?" Kuroo glanced over at you. There was a smirk on his face that instantly sent a blush to your face.
"Oh, this (Y/N). We've been friends since high school. Why don't you go with Kuroo, (Y/N). I'm gonna' go thank Daichi for inviting me." (F/N) slipped away from Kuroo's arm. You tried to protest, but they were already gone before you could.
"Hey, (Y/N) is it?" Kuroo asked, then took a sip of his drink.
"Yeah." You awkwardly replied.
"So, wanna' get a drink? Daichi has some pretty good stuff." Kuroo was already leading you towards the kitchen. It was hard not to notice the assortment of cheap alcohol on the table.
"Wow, I didn't see Daichi as the type to drink a lot." You said.

"He doesn't, I brought the good stuff." Kuroo winked. He took one of the plastic red cups and poured something into it.
"So, whats your major." He handed it to you.
"Computer Engineering. What about you." You took a sip of your drink. It burned a bit once you took a sip, but you tried to keep your expression to a minimum.
"You have the same major as Kenma, interesting. I graduated about a year ago. I'm just working on volleyball right now." He replied.
"I thought you were the same age as Daichi-san." You looked at him suspiciously.
"I got college credit in high school, so I graduated early. I'm not some middle aged creep at a college party." He shook his head.
"You sure look like you are." You smirked.
"Whats that supposed to mean!" He said defensively. You both laughed and continued your conversation while drinking.
It was much later in the party when things started to go hazy. Mostly everyone there was drunk besides the few designated drivers that were around. You remembered seeing the clock said 10pm, then Kuroo led you off somewhere.
You went down some stairs, then you were in a room with crazy loud music. That basement must have been sound proof since you barely heard it from upstairs. It smelled a bit like weed, but Kuroo and you were quickly pulled into the mess of people dancing.
Then everything went dark from there.
- · -
You woke up with a killer headache and pain throughout your whole body. The only light in the room came from the day light spilling through the small openings in the curtains.
"Ugh." You groaned and rolled over. Your phone was on the nightstand beside the bed.
You turned on your phone, wincing at the bright light from the screen. There was about three missed calls and many missed texts from (F/N). You turned the brightness down then looked at the texts.
Hey, whered u go
I knkw I left but I didnt think youd disappear
Where r u
Did u leave with Kuroo
Hes not texting back either
Text me soon
Im worried
You could almost hear the pop in your head when you realized you weren't in your room. You scrambled to sit up.
"Where the fuck am I?" You wondered, looking around.
"Hnnn- what?" A rough voice asked from beside you.
You jumped and turned to look at Kuroo, laying beside you, in a bed that definitely wasn't yours. You also realized that you could feel the sheets on a lot more of your skin that you usually would. You frantically looked down to see you did infact have clothes on. Your underwear and bra was on, you were wearing your own shirt, but your pants were discarded on the other side of the room.
Kuroo also seemed to be just now waking up, "Oh, hey. You're still here."
"Wha- what happened?" You asked.
Kuroo also began to sit up, his hair looked worse than what you remembered last night. He was also very clearly shirtless. None of this looked good in your mind.

"Nothing bad at all I promise! You seemed pretty wasted last night, so I just let you go to bed. I don't take advantage of people like that." He shook his head.
"What about my clothes?" You asked.
"That was all you. You can go if you want. Usually people leave before I'm even awake." He tried to lighten the mood.
"You do this often?" You asked, getting up from the bed. You felt a bit dizzy, and your muscles started to ache even more.
"Eh- sometimes. Women just can't resist me." He joked. You went to the other side of the room, picking up your pants from the ground. A heavy wave of nausia hit you, and the dizziness increased even more.
"Wh-where's your bathroom?" You asked.
"Um- its outside of my room, to the right..." He replied. You rushed towards the toilet right when you heard that information. Seconds later, you were emptying your guts into the toilet.
Kuroo was also quick to get up and sit beside you in the bathroom. He held your hair back and/or rubbed circles on your back. You were probably there for a few minutes before your stomach finally gave you a break. You leaned back against Kuroo.
"That was awful. Why did I drink so much." You groaned.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have given you such hard liquor. You seemed like someone who could take it." He apologized.
"Couldn't take it! Of course I can..." You turned around to fast and now you were once again very dizzy.
"How are you not hungover?" You asked, holding onto his bicep to keep some type of balance.
"Believe it or not, I also feel like I've been hit by a bus. Wanna' try my flawless hangover cure?" Kuroo began to stand up. You could see the slight stumble in his step as he did so.
You nodded, "Not like this could go any worse."
You slowly stood up from the bathroom ground as well. You embarrassingly fell onto Kuroo a few times, and you steadied yourself with your hands on his chest. He slowly led you from the bathroom to a small dining room table that had three mismatched chairs. He helped you sit in one of the seats.
"Stay here until I'm back. Please don't throw up all over the floor or the table or yourself." He gently pat your back and walked off into the kitchen.
"Wow- thanks." You said to yourself, resting your head onto your hand.
"Here, its ginger tea. That should help with your nausea." Kuroo came back several minutes later with a cup of tea.
"Thanks for being so nice. Even though we only just met last night, and I was drunk for the most part." You said. You took a sip of the tea. It made you feel just a bit better.
"Well, I'm not some prick, and last night was pretty nice. We got to know a bit about eachother, even if you don't remember it." He replied.
"I remember what we were talking about, the only thing I don't really remember is the dancing in the basement. Oh- sorry if I did anything overly stupid. I've been told I have no filter when I'm drunk." You said.
"You did get pretty wild. You even said I was hot a couple of times." He smirked.
"Are you sure you were talking to me?" You decided to tease.
He rolled his eyes, "Very funny."
You two sipped your tea in uncomfortable silence for a bit. Neither of you were sure what else to say anymore.
"Its almost noon. Do you need a ride home?" He asked.
"That would be really nice if you could, thanks. I need to call (F/N), their probably worried sick." You rushed back towards Kuroo's room to get your phone.
"Right uh- give me a minute to get dressed." He said.
That was when you really realized that Kuroo was not really wearing clothes. He had on basketball shorts and that was it. He smirked when he noticed you taking a long look at him.
"Oh, right." You nodded, taking your pants from the ground. You quickly walked out the room as you started calling (F/N).
"(Y/N), are you alright? Where are you! I thought you got kidnapped last night or something!" (F/N) yelled into the phone.
"I'm fine. I'm with Kuroo right now, he's going to drive me back to our place in a bit." You explained.
"Ooh, you're with Kuroo- huh? I knew something would happen between you two." You could hear the smirk in their voice.
"Nothing happened. You think every guy I'm with I'm hooking up with." You rolled your eyes at their quickness to change the subject.
"But c'mon! I've told him a lot about you. He was super excited to meet you!" (F/N) said.
"Would have loved if you told me this beforehand." You deadpanned.
"Yeah but that would've been weird! Anyway, Kuroo's driving back right? His place isn't too far away. Maybe 10 minutes." They said.
"Hey (Y/N), did you get your pants on!" Kuroo called across the apartment. (F/N) definitely heard that.
"Wait, what!?-" You hung up then.
"Yup!" You quickly pulled your jeans on as he walked into the living room.
"Great, it'll probably only take 10 minutes to get you home." Kuroo said.
"Yeah, (F/N) just said that." You chuckled and followed him out of the apartment.
It didn't take long until Kuroo pulled up at your apartment building. You assumed he had been there atleast a few times to see (F/N).
"Uh- hey, I know everything about last night and this morning was awkward, but do you wanna' go somewhere together sometime. When we're both sober." He asked before you got out.
"I'd love to." You replied.
"Really! Uh- do you want my snap or my number. My number makes more sense." He said to himself.
You gave him your phone to put in his number, "I'll see you around, Kuroo."
You stepped out of the car and immediately felt the hest start rushing to your face as you walked into the building. Meanwhile, Kuroo was silently celebrating his success.

Life on Torus Terminal is usually fast paced, but simple. A frontier Terminal has little room for easy living, but the great, circular station does boast shopping and culinary experiences from many Imperial races and cultures. Any star is, by its nature, extremely far from its neighbors. But laser highways, and the great shimmering sails of the light-rider spaceships make the trip into only about ten years. Still, the denizens of Torus Terminal eagerly await the day when the Anti-Euclidean Engine their station is built around finally comes online. Once that is done, they will have unfettered access to the entire Empire. Instantaneous travel and trade across hundreds of stars. Torus Terminal does boast one other oddity: a creature which calls itself Human. As he says, the last of his kind for now. He has made quite the life for himself on Torus Terminal, especially in the darker corners of the station. The elites of Torus Terminal praise his name, for once he took up arms, crime began to fall. What they did not realize was that was because he had claimed the seedy underbelly of Torus Terminal for himself and his own goals. The elites praise him as a paragon of law. The criminals fear him as a ruthlessly clever crime boss. Those closest to him, know him as the General. This story was originally posted on the Humanity Fuck Yeah subreddit, where it evolved from a simple play on a historical figure in a science fiction setting into a full blown space opera. I kind of took it as an opportunity to explore a setting I've had rolling around in my head for years. I also decided that it would be nice to have it in a place where I could more easily come back and edit it later, so I'm reposting it here. Here's a link to the original posting if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/comments/e9cwpl/post_war_rules/ If my genre and tagging is subpar, let me know. I'm still new to Royal Road and I'm open to help. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, or discuss. I love comments, and so long as we keep things civil I also love criticism.

Formerly know as "Long experience" I have changed the name due to feedback saying it sounding like a dick joke. When the apocalypse started most people ran or hid, but Texas has a different mentality. This story follows the exploits of a group of physically and mentally damaged military veterans that have found themselves on the frontline fight at the end of the world. Zombies, robots, and aliens are only the first enemies they fight in what wil become humanity's long war or last stant against to a hostile universe. This series is actually based on a series of strange and bizarre dreams/nightmares I had on 2010 and heavily influenced by my reading of Humanity Fuck Yeah stories. Cover: I actually made a much larger cover than necessary and was forced to crop out two thirds of it, the full image can be found here http://fav.me/ddkz10t
