Katie's POV
I slowly walked to mamas room, I opened the door and there she was, sitting up in her bed reading. I stood there for a moment before she realized I was there. "Katie.." she said, putting her book down. "Mama..." I said, fidgeting with my fingers. "Are you okay?" She asked, pulling the covers back. I nodded my head and rushed over to her. I climbed on top of her and nuzzled into her neck. "Try to get back to sleep baby, it's still really early." She said, scratching my scalp. I stuck my thumb into my mouth and closed my eyes and tried to get back to sleep.
I woke up to Kaiden hysterically crying. I sat up and walked out of our room, mama was standing out in the hall and Marlo was pulling Kaiden into the guest room by his ear. "Mama what happened?" I asked, making her jump. "You scared me.." she said, picking me up. "Kaiden is in trouble, and he's getting punished. How about you and I go eat some breakfast?" She suggested. Today I wasn't feeling myself, I knew it wasn't gonna be a good day. I shook my head, "no thank you. I'm not hungry." I said leaning my head against her shoulder. I stuck my thumb in my mouth and watched as she walked us into the kitchen. "You're eating, at least a cup of yogurt." She said, she set me down on the counter and grabbed a cup of yogurt out the fridge, she handed it to me and gave me a spoon. "Eat that for me please baby." She said softly. My lip trembled and I nodded my head. She opened it and I took my first bite, looking at her as I did, "good girl.". I ate the rest of it and then went and laid on the couch. I turned on Greys anatomy and watched it, mama sat down by my feet and started to rub them, pushing her thumbs deep into the soles of my feet.

Kaiden and marlo left and it was silent for the rest of the day. I helped mama clean up the house a little and then went to lay down in my room. She understood I needed to be alone so she left me alone. I scrolled on my phone for a while, looking up things about Motions, the founders and the CEOS and whatnot. I heard a knock and my door opened. "Hey sweetie, I'm gonna go run to pick up some groceries, would you like to come with me?" She asked, stepping into my room, she was dressed in a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a cream colored sweater, I smiled and shook my head "no thank you." She nodded and walked over to me. "I love you." She said kissing my forehead, she left the room and closed the door.
I spent two hours in my room before realizing she hadn't come back home yet. I opened my door and walked down the hallway, checking to see if maybe she just hadn't come to tell me she was home. She wasn't in her office, in our room, the kitchen or the living room. "I know she doesn't need to pick up that much." I said to myself. I got on my phone and called her, no answer. "Huh, okay." I called Marlo, "hey do you know where Johanna is? She said she was going to pick up a grocery order almost three hours ago and she isn't answering my calls."
"Uhh no kiddo I have no idea where she is, she isn't here, I'll call her though okay? Let me know if you need us." I hung up the phone and tried to call again. It rang a few times then went to voicemail. "What the fuck."

Yeah I'm not supposed to curse so what, but she isn't supposed to lie to me either.
Hours went by and she finally came through the door, with no groceries. "What happened? Where were you I've been texting and calling!" I said frantically, I hugged her tightly and then pulled away, "where were you?" I asked more serious. "I had to go somewhere." She said, pushing past me and walking into the living room. I scoffed and stared at her as she walked away from me. "That's it? Just somewhere?" I asked, "obviously not grocery shopping." I said again, standing in the foyer. She turned and looked at me, "loose the attitude." She said sternly, pointing her finger at me. "How about you tell me where you were? We have a rule!" I walked into the living room, standing in front of her. "I had to do something Katie! Drop it!" She snapped at me, I nodded my head. "Right, ok. I guess I'll just go around breaking rules now too." She rolled her eyes and sat down. "Go ahead, see how far you get." At this point I was angry, this wasn't my girlfriend and it definitely wasn't my mama. "Why are you acting like such a bitch?" I asked, she raised her eye brow, cocking her head at me. "Excuse me?" She said, standing up. I swallowed, no going back now. "If I would have lied about where I was going and then ignored your calls and texts the moment I walked through that door you'd be tearing my ass up. But when you do it I'm just supposed to sit down and not say anything? Keep my mouth shut? Well that isn't gonna fucking happen. And I don't care if I get in trouble for cursing! Because I'm angry! Angry with YOU!" I screamed, she stood still, her mouth open and a confused look on her face. "Whatever Johanna, I'm going to sleep." I walked away from her and into my room. I heard her walking behind me but I didn't care. I closed my door and locked it. "Katie..." I heard her from the other side of the door. "Leave me alone." I took all my clothes, getting completely naked, I turned the light off and climbed into my bed, I pulled the covers up over myself and tried to go to sleep.
