Katie's POV

Me and Kaiden were playing in my room in separate corners, he was playing with my legos and I was playing with my barbies. We had been in here for a while, and I heard mama and Aunt Marlo laughing, I know they needed time to themselves so I stayed in my room. I got bored with playing barbies and I put them all away and just laid down on my floor, starting up at the ceiling. I listened to everything around me, the legos clicking together, mama and aunt Marlo laughing in the living room, the birds and the cars outside. Just letting everything soak in.

Apparently I had been doing that longer that I realized because Kaiden thought I was dead and had to come make sure I was still breathing. "I'm just listening." I told him, he looked down at me like I was crazy, "to what?" He asked, cocking his head to the side, "everything." He laughed and shook his head "okay weirdo." He left me alone and I closed my eyes, going back to what I was doing before.

I heard footsteps down the hall and they stopped right at my room. "Umm, whatcha doing there love bug?" I heard my mama ask, "she's listening Aunt Jo." Kaiden said from across the room. "Mhm" I said, opening up one eye and looking at mama, "I'm meditating like you do sometimes." I said giggling. She shook her head with a smile and blew me a kiss. "I was just checking up on y'all. Do you need anything? Snacks? A drink? Do you have to go potty?" I sat up and thought if i had to go potty, I felt my pull up and immediately threw myself back onto the floor, "NO!" Tears filled my eyes and I started crying, "what's wrong Katie?" Kaiden asked softly. "She's okay buddy, she'll be right back." I felt mama pick me up and she brought me to our room, I slumped against her, big alligator tears running down my face. "Baby it's okay.." she tried to calm me down but nothing was stopping this. So she just held me while I threw my fit. Eventually she pulled me off of her and changed my pull up. I cried more and tried to push her away when she started to slid another up my legs. "Hey! Cut it out little girl." She said sharply, pinching my inner thigh, I let her pull it up and onto my butt. "You know, Marlo told me Kaiden has been wearing them now too. So there's nothing to be ashamed of baby." I sniffled "really?" I asked her, "yes, she said he wears them every time he goes into little space, because sometimes he can't make it to the potty either." I wiped my face off and nodded my head "like me?" I asked her and she nodded, rubbing my butt, "just like you."

She took me back out into the living room, Kaiden was out there and Marlo was pulling his pants up, I guess he had an accident too. Mama sat down on the couch and I climbed into her lap. "Can we watch a movie?" I asked softly, "yeah, and mama will order our pizza okay?" I nodded my head, me and Kaiden picked out a movie. We decided to watch frozen 2 but we weren't gonna watch till the pizza got there. So instead we took our baths. When mama was done bathing me she slid a pull up on me and out my PJ's back on then we went back into the living room. Just in time for the pizza too.

We all settled down and watched the movie while we ate pizza. I giggled at all the funny parts and Kaiden and I sang all the songs.

Mamas hand was rubbing my back and I leaned against her.

I cried because I thought Elsa was gonna die, but she didn't and I felt better.

When the movie was over mama called us into the kitchen and she had a whole ice cream station set up. "Wow!" Kaiden said, she had all different flavors and toppings. I chose a waffle cone, and I got a scoop of cookiesncream and mint chocolate chip. Then we dipped it in sprinkles, mama put it in a bowl also in case it started to drip.

We ate up all our ice cream and then played some more to make ourselves sleepy. We were jumping on my bed, laughing and giggling, sending my stuffies all over the room when something bad happened. I fell off the bed and onto the floor, I gasped and reached for Kaiden and he tried to catch me but it was too late. I looked up at the ceiling, my eyes filling with tears. Kaiden ran over to me to make sure I was okay. "Do you want me to get your mama?" He asked, but I already heard them coming down the hall. I'm sure the sound of my body hitting the floor told them what happened. "Katie fell off the bed!" Kaiden said frantically, "is she okay??" He asked my mama, I felt her squat down next to me, I looked up at her, "I fell." She nodded her head, "I heard. What did we say about jumping on furniture?" I nodded my head, "are you in pain?" She asked me, I shook my head "it just scared me." She smiled and her look of worry left her face and she helped me up. "Okay kiddos, y'all are sleeping in here tonight?" Aunt marlo asked and I nodded my head.

They got us ready for bed and read us a story, mama kissed my head and kissed Kaiden's before she left the room, turning the light off and leaving the door cracked.

Kaiden was asleep in minutes but it took me a minute to got comfortable. It was probably because I wasn't sleeping with mama.

It's okay, it's just one night and tomorrow morning I can go climb into bed with her.

I laid down and cuddled up to Kaiden, my thumb found it's way to my mouth and I closed my eyes so I could try to sleep.
