《Who am I?! (Completed)》Chapter 35

Now imma need all your attention before we can get into this chapter.

This story belongs to me, besides all the characters everything else belongs to me from the plot, beginnings and random bits and bobs added in between. I've obviously gone through my ups and downs as an amateur writer who just types away at her phone and laptop because she feels like it, what I write will vary from positive and negative and some other random things when I'm feeling like it.

Now none of my several readers have brought this up but I feel like coming from a personal level this is the least I could, Apologise.

I know that what I write won't always appeal to what everyone wants and expects from me but I write whatever I want to write and if you don't like the content I come up with then don't read my stories, Periodt.

When I first started this book I write what I liked and recently going over and re-reading my first many chapter's I've found that I don't like them as much as I used to and that's for one reason mainly: it's actually kinda cringe but it's mainly because of the sensitivity levels.

My month I had away from Wattpad also helped me not only improve and have a time of self reflection but to address matters like this. I probably should've started my hiatus with this announcement but never late then never?

What I've wrote could actually be what someone is going through and I would never know if I've offended them because I've been so ignorant to what I've written and especially going through mental health problems myself I feel like absolute crap.

I know and will go back to add warnings to the allocated chapters and maybe even improve it because I constantly cringe when I read my beginning chapters but not too much that it changes parts of the story. Once again I want to give anyone who was offended by this and even the ones who weren't an apology and I will continue to apply these changes to not only the remainder of this story but other stories I write in the future.

Very pessimistic way to start what is supposed to be a positive chapter compared to the rest of the story but let's get started shall we?!!

Once again, biggest apologies to all my readers.

Sorry, Abida xx

**********

This chapter will basically a bunch of platonic fluff and a breather from all the drama so don't go getting a bunch of random possible relationship ideas because trust me they will not happen. I haven't done something like this throughout this entire book so far besides the single bonus memories chapter but that doesn't really count because that timeline doesn't fit in with the story beginning and ending plot.

Also just a little disclaimer, I don't speak French but I do know bits and pieces of it so I apologise in advance if what I write in French is incorrect because whatever French I don't know, then I end up using google translate.

So please enjoy this ✨stress free✨ and nothing but ✨positive vibes✨ filled chapter!!!!!

One and a half years ago

Location: T&S Boulangerie Patisserie

A light covered the room in a bright pink blanket but despite the light being so intense no one was blinded, adding in the fact that the only person in the room was the fifteen year old and a red and black Goddess who was now no longer present in the room.

The light disappeared as quick as it came, almost as if it was never even there in the beginning and in the centre of the room stood clad in a red and black suit was none other than the Parisian Heroine Ladybug.

In one swift motion she climbed onto her bed that she still hadn't made from when she woke up and jumped through her open window to get to her balcony, she had been a superhero for so long that simple motions like this were a piece of cake and she barely put any sort of effort into simple motions like that.

She landed feet first on her balcony and stared at the setting sun that dyed the sky a variety of colours, how that could happen was beyond Marinette's imagination but she couldn't care any less and just enjoyed the view. It was barely a few seconds later when she heard a small thump from behind her and Marinette didn't need to look at the newcomer to know who it was.

Abrielle leaned against the bakery chimney as her partner in crime spun around, the slightest smiles appearing on her glossy lips as she took in the heroines facial expressions, she spoke up first,

"How's the weather down their naine?"

She exaggerated craning her neck to look down on the girl who stood on a totally different platform, her action brought out a small but sweet chuckle out of the girl opposite her.

This type of banter had been the norm for the two best friends ever since their blooming friendship that had begun just around two or so years ago, they had both been each others comic relief, person to rant to, someone they could trust, someone who understood, the person who stood by you through thick and thin.

Overall, they were completely the best of friends and nothing could change that.

"Abrielle, if you tried to scare me again you do realise that you will never be successful."

The bluenette replied with the same tone of voice showing that this certain conversation wasn't to be taken seriously and was nothing but the two teenage girls joking around like kids their age should be doing unlike them.

The girl in yellow and black laughed back bitterly flicking her blonde hair magically tied in a high ponytail and quickly scanned her freshly painted nails making herself look extra sassy,

"Of course I know that but it never hurts to try."

She moved her shoulders side to side before jumping down besides the girl.

The two blue eyed girls held intense eye contact for a good minute in complete silence before they both burst into an uncontrollable, contagious fit of giggles.

For no absolute reason they looked back at each other and both had straight and stoic faces for only five seconds before once again bursting into another contagious and uncontrollable fit of giggles, laughing so much that both girls nearly lost balance; one girl bending over as she hugged her belly as if stopping the funny pain that came with laughing in the pit of her stomach while the other crouched down looking very similar to someone squatting so that all her weight was on the heels of her feet.

Their laughter began to die down as the results of laughing struck them hard in their cheeks that was kept in a permanent smile.

Chloe Bourgeois smiled in content at her best friend who struggled to keep a straight posture, the happiest of smiles on her red lips as she took in deep intakes of breath to steady her once uneven breathing from what felt like hours of giggling over absolutely nothing.

The bluenette had been laughing so much that her cheeks and stomach both hurt, tears of happiness collected in the corners of her eyes and for once she let them fall freely without suppressing them.

The hearty sound that came from Marinette's chest was a sound that Chloe hadn't heard in, Oh so long that she had to stop mid way through her own giggling episode just to embrace the spontaneous moment. The sight before her was something she barely ever saw or heard nowadays and to see her best friend be like this and to know that its not an act to impressive others brought nothing but content to her face.

Marinette deserved nothing the best and even if it meant getting random moments during their life where Marinette was in a stress-free environment with her best friend then Chloe would give her exactly that.

Marinette was never allowed to live the life of a normal teenager since she was thrown into direct fire and everything went downhill as soon as she entered the superhero life, things got worse and worse but so did she.

Nothing was ever easy but just simply being there for the bluenette was more than anything Marinette needed and Chloe was happy she was able to turn her day upside down but in a good way.

Marinette recovered from her laughing state and looked back up into the sun that was still lowering absolutely oblivious to the staring blonde at her right. She let out a light exhale before speaking up breaking the comfortable silence,

"This is nice... really nice."

Her voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke but Chloe could hear her clearly, it was like if she was too loud someone would her even though they were stood alone on a balcony after sunset.

Abrielle looked to the spotted teenager with an idea, something they had been doing ever since Abrielle made her first appearance,

"How about we go for a swing, see who can get to the Eiffel Tower the fastest."

There was a reason as to why Chloe didn't say it with a pinch of curiosity in her tone, because she knew the exact answer she would get in reply and was already preparing herself.

Unfortunately, the blonde wasn't fast enough as the next thing she knew a red streak flew straight past her and heading in the direction of the Eiffel Tower; that was such a Marinette and Ladybug thing to do, why didn't she see that coming?

As quick as she could, she detached her spinning top from her waist and launched it forward and she too was swinging away, following the red blob across the Parisian sky and rooftops.

The two girls swung, hearty laughs escaping their mouths as they lived in the moment. Adrenaline soared through their veins, a sensation like no other coursing through their blood and it was something you could only ever feel when like this.

It felt like flying, being as free as a bird with no boundaries and there's no one to stop them; no one to stop them this evening at least but tomorrow is another day to worry about, they're living in the moment.

The wind pushed the small pieces of hair that weren't magically tied in her bun which were intentionally not tied but it isn't like she didn't mind, her new hair change and her new suit was something she was eternally thankful for.

The feeling of just being a kid and being irresponsible was something like this felt like, even though they were heroes being a hero meant being able to do this every night and it helps so much to empty her mind.

Another giggle leaves her red painted lips as she flipped mid-air following with several more perfect rolls and flips that she had perfected over the years.

She was never the athletic or flexible type even regarding who her family was but being thrust into this lifestyle she had no choice and she treasured the skills she learnt, now being athletic and flexible being two things in which she treasured.

She was never too sure if she looked stupid doing the tricks but the most important thing was that she felt amazing doing it and if nobody acknowledged that then why should they watch her doing what she loves.

With one final somersault in the air, she rolled and in a swift motion somehow managed to put her yo-yo back on her hip before grabbing the Eiffel Tower railing and pulled herself into a handstand that lasted not even a millisecond before pushing her body onto the metal platform of the famous monument without a single struggle, the action probably looked hard as hell but it really wasn't for the Ladybug.

The fifteen year old barely broke a sweat throughout the entire thing but that wasn't anything new.

The sky was now freshly painted in a variety shades of blues, ranging from a normal sky blue to the deepest that matched the colour and tone of of midnight blue hair.

From where she stood, the faintest of the moons outline was visible to the naked eye along with randomly positioned small white dots all around the sky like sprinkles on a cake, it wasn't late just yet but later on they would more visible and beautiful to look at.

The Ladybug wasn't even sure when the bee had landed besides her but she relished the rare silence and despite loving the girl to death, she's glad that the blonde besides her didn't try to speak.

Moments like this is what Marinette loved most, it was what her life was lacking and even if this was the most rarest thing she could do she tried to have some one on one time with herself at least once a month but life proved to be impossible.

It had been four months since she was last able to have a moment alike to this and she's going to savour it as much as possible because she's not sure when she'll be able to have the time to have another.

She held onto the railing on which she had first touched when arriving at the tower and leaned so that half her weight was on her arms, the feeling was that a certain amount of stress fell of her shoulders and onto the tall tower to hold onto until she was ready to have it all back again.

The world no longer felt like it was her responsibility and Oh how that ease on her shoulders felt so nice, so refreshing. When was the last time she felt the weightless burden? She herself isn't even sure anymore.

It was probably stupid of her to think and believe like that but it helped her with all of life's worries. Abrielle copied her actions exactly and the two best friends looked into the darkening sky as the night progressed, relishing in the sight, the inviting silence and the alluring peace.

The youngest Wayne wished life could be simpler and a little more content, if she could have the worlds fate off of her shoulders... it would be nice. Yeah, that would be really nice.
